As this is the 5th. occasion that I have stayed at Tudor House, I think that it is quite clear that I rate the property very highly indeed. It's always spotlessly clean and the décor gives it a warm and homely feel and on this occasion the festive tree and decorations were a wonderful touch. There is always plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils available as well as condiments and cooking oil. There is a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and sugar as well as cleaning products and materials. The bathroom has recently been very tastefully refurbished and fitted with a great new shower and shower cubicle. Also the kitchen has been reconfigured with the sink being moved to give more surface space for food preparation. All in all, I cannot fault this wonderful property and the very, very reasonable price is an added bonus.............I have actually already booked in for my next visit to Leicester at the end of this month.

This was the third occasion that I have stayed at Tudor House - and if it had been available, it would have been more. The property is ideally located being very close to the city centre, a large supermarket, the scenic mile straight, Castle Gardens, the Guildhall and Richard III visitors centre. It is spotlessly clean, has a warm homely feel and is well stocked with cleaning products, condiments and bathroom products. There is a lovely decked seating area at the rear of the property which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. There are plenty of electrical sockets and mirrors - which is often an issue at other properties that I have stayed. Finally, the fresh milk and snack bars that are supplied are an wonderful welcoming touch.
Absolutely nothing.........it's perfect.

The place was spotless inside with great space and a seperate dining room the house was a 10 minutes walk into the city centre but that means your in a city area living within a multi cultural society and very busy. polish shops very close that sold most items and a local Chinese takeaway over the road on street parking that was quite full but once parked we didn't move so wasn't a problem for us. City centre is a shopaholics dream a day spent there and we didn't see it all. Restaurants there are many different ones all different cultures loved it and we will return.
Floors in the house are up and down could be a problem if you have mobility issues. Outside garden area and the decking to us was dangerous and the garden area was totally overgrown with a bent and battered table the owners should think about spending some time and probably a few hundred pounds to put this right and it would be a vast improvement. The shower over the bath was fiddly to get temperature correct and shower curtain was a laugh. Going out on a night would be scary to some people with large groups congregating mainly outside the shops and on some street corners women on their own my find this of putting but this is an inner city street with a multi cultural society and it happens. Black felt tip rough writing on rear of front door telling you how not to close door!! Make a decent sign or strengthen the door.

I was born in Leicester and wasn't really expecting alot from the area or what I had booked, I couldn't have been more wrong,on arrival and opening the door to fresh flowers and a very clean house there was everything there you needed from fresh milk in the fridge and coffee, honestly it was all there and the owner was very helpful.
I thought parking was going to be a problem which really wasn't that bad at all.
Could be a little loud but what do you really expect when there is a University around the corner and people enjoying themselves 😂

Easy walking access into town. Well equipt for cooking, cleaning, and entertainment (TV, Books, Boards games). The host was a great communicator, dropped off fresh sheets and towels as were staying for a long duration, and upon arrival greeted by welcome gifts of milk and biscuits.
The shower temperature control is tricky to balance.

The host was very helpful. The space was cosy and had what we needed to stay for a week. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The floorboards were a bit creaky so it was impossible to use the toilet at night without waking everyone!

This was my second stay at Tudor House and it was just as fantastic as the first. I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to friends and family. I will most definitely be returning to Tudor House the next time that I visit Leicester.
Nothing.

I normally stay in self catering apartments when I visit Leicester and I can honestly say that Tudor House is by far the best I have used. Not only was it clean and homely, but there was a plentiful supply of toilet requisites, cleaning products, kitchenware, tea, coffee, sugar and even oil and condiments for cooking. Also, a lovely personal touch was to leave a fresh pint of milk and a pack of festive mince pies. I would most definitely recommend Tudor House to anyone visiting Leicester.

Lovley place, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Nice touch leaving us milk, drinks and snacks, especially thanks for the painkillers that were very much needed on New years day haha.
I would suggest getting curtains for the bedrooms, the blinds do not block any light and so you are awake when the sun rises.
