The location is beautiful
Actual caravan hasn’t been updated since the 70’s I would say. I’m 5’ 6 and I felt cramped so yeah if your any taller than that I wouldn’t chance it.
No hot water when arrived at the property

The location was brilliant, very quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic location for walking and climbing at Hen Cloud and the Roaches.

The only thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the new spotlight as it is directly pointed at our caravan and was very bright and on all day and night.

very nice, clean converted caravan , lovely quite surrounds with great facilities and a lovely garden/seating area.
I’m quite tall, so the bed wasn’t long enough but it is a camping style hut and the mattress was comfortable.

Fantastic location
Very clean
Hot water
Nice and warm when the heatings on
Lovely views
Peaceful surroundings
A welcome pack with some information on walks, local attractions etc would have been a nice touch as on wifi or phone signal inside. We did message to ask beforehand but did not receive reply

Lovely location near to The Roaches. Great for walks. Nice cosy caravan. Hot shower. Extra blankets for when temperatures dropped at night. Staff were friendly, making suggestions of where we could go for day trips. Would definitely stay again!
Radiator in main bedroom but not in the twin bed room, but that's just the design of the caravan/no room for one! Not loads of kitchen utensils but space is limited. We made do with what there was!

The gas heater would not ignite
The television would not work
The sky light leaked
The fridge leaked
The caravan was damp

An old static caravan with a good level of maintenance inside. Clean. Comfy beds (however rather short). Carefully arranged surroundings, to give guests a good level of privacy. Outdoor furniture. Beautiful view. Great location for walks in the Trossachs.
The insulation of the caravan is not great. We were feeling cold at night in the middle of summer despite using all available blankets. Other guests in the Gypsy caravan were playing loud music past 11pm, despite set quiet time from 10pm.

it was so quiet and private, lovely scenery, beautiful
nothing, everything was amazing

The location is wonderful for walkers like us - the scenery is magnificent.
Oh dear... there were many little niggles -things which did not work well - but the main problem was the double bed which was exactly six feet long and squashed between walls. As I am exactly six feet tall I could not stretch out and it was impossible for us to sleep in the same bed. The beds in the second room were very narrow and the mattresses not really for adults. So I slept on the long and quite comfortable coach in the living room. We were very glad we had not come with the family. The caravan was very poorly insulated so serious heating is needed in May.

The static caravan was exactly as shown in the pictures and was quiet and in a great location for walking trips. All cuttlery and cooking facilities were provided so was very easy to prepare food etc
These are small niggles and nothing we couldnt get past but somethings to be aware of when making your decisions. The hot water runs at a much lower pressure to the cold, this means when showering you have to balance the cold tap to a millimeter of adjustment otherwise it goes from very hot to very cold in an instant. The double bed has been turned to give more room in hte double bedroom however it is headboard to wall, as a ft guy i couldnt stretch full length without going diagnally across the bed, this isnt an issue for me as my wife is alot shorter so didnt need the space at the foot of the bed but not being able to hang feet off the end like i normally do meant it became a little tight but we did get used to it after a couple of days. There is no phone or internet reception in or around the immediate site. If you walk back along the drive route for a minute or so then you will get reception but again if you are planning to spend time using internet to watch movies of an evening then forget about it and bring along a dvd boxset. Finally just be aware that the temperature in the caravan drops quickly at night so whilst the heaters are on is can feel nice and cosy but within an hour of them being off it does get cold, this is to be expected but caught us a little of guard on our first night

An absolutely beautiful location with amazing views and great walks. The property itself was lovely, cozy, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We really enjoined our stay in this place.
Humidity. Also there is no Wi-Fi/broadband at all. But it might be a good thing if you wish to spend your time away from social media, calls, messages and etc.

The location is fantastic! In the middle of the countryside, very scenic and great views from the caravan itself, secluded, calm, walking distance from a great walk.
Humidity. It could have been an issue if we had used the twin bedroom which has no sunlight coming through or if we had come at a wetter season.

The location is ideal for walks around the Roaches and south Peak District. Leek is not far for meals out and other amenities.
The caravan itself is in a very secluded location surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Unfortunately we did not meet the hosts or hear from them other than to answer our questions. This could be due to Covid so we were not worried, but a text to check if we had everything we needed would have been a nice touch.

Excellent gem of a static caravan with wonderful views and all facilities for comfort. The location is great for a number of walks. We walked to Renshaw rocks, the Roaches and Tittesworth reservoir making some scenic circular walks. Wonderful as a short getaway.
Just be aware that there is no wifi/broadband, but not bad for a detox away from social media.

The location, caravan itself very cosy, amazing view.
There was everything we needed in place😊
There is not such a thing I did not like there apart from one full heavy rain day but this was not thier fault😀 we had great walk anyway!

Cosy, secluded, clean and well located; doorsteps of The Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir. Also closeby to towns like Buxton. Kitchen was well equipped.
