Perfect B&B

The hosts were absolutely lovely and very attentive, the room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, the location ideal and the breakfast was fantastic! Couldn't of asked for anything better.

Beautiful place overlooking Plymouth's Barbican

Excellent location and only a 5 minute stroll onto Plymouth's vibrant Barbican. Hosts Rob and Sue were super friendly and met all our needs for our short stay. Breakfast was very enjoyable indeed with plenty of choice available. Room was well equipped and the bed super comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Rob and Sue were great hosts, always friendly and helpful and up for a chat. Their breakfast is superb. Also the location of the B&B is excellent, everything of importance is within walking distance.

If you want somewhere homely and welcoming, this is the place to stay.

It’s a perfect location to the Barbican, the welcome you receive is second to none. A really happy and welcoming place that feels like home. The breakfast is delicious, the black pudding has to be tried, all from a local butcher and cooked to bring out the flavours and texture.

There is nothing not to like. I stayed here several years ago and the continuity of the service and welcome the second time around did not disappoint. If and when I visit Plymouth again, I will be returning.

Superb

The guest house owners Rob and Sue are both very helpful. The room I stayed in was just right for a person on their own and the breakfast, with several choices was freshly cooked and delicious. Would stay again.

Pleasant stay close to the Barbican!

My breakfast was amazing - I loved The Barbican Raft which is Rob’s take on poached eggs ! My shower was lovely and warm! I loved having a mug rather than a cup & saucer for my coffee ☕️

Great Location in Plymouth

Great location just up a cobbled street from the main quayside. Very friendly welcome to our room overlooking the front street which was very quiet. Clean and tidy and comfy. Good breakfast to send us on our way in the morning. Kindly looked after our bags for a few hours while we wandered round Plymouth during the day. Thank you

Exceptional

A wonderful cozy hotel with a great location. I had a single room and it was perfectly equipped for me - a comfortable bed, a separate bathroom. The owners of the hotel, Sue and Rob, are extremely nice people. They have created an atmosphere in which you feel not as a client, but as a guest of old friends. I have never felt so comfortable in any hotel. I would be happy to return to this hotel!

Great location, excellent accommodation, great breakfast - nothing to fault

Location. Was brilliant. Welcoming hosts and very obliging in helping sort somewhere for our bikes. Delicious breakfast - would highly recommend.

great location and place to stay

just about everything, but highlighting the breakfast

thought it was an en-suite room from Booking .com but discovered the toilet whilst allocated to us was outside of the bedroom. Not the fault of the owners but could have been better explained on/by Booking.com

Superb

Really nice owners, super attentive and easy going. They gave us great travel tips. The location was perfect. A five minute walk to the harbour, the Barbican main high street and the Hoe which is beautiful and overlooked the sea. The room was super clean the the towels smelt lovely. The room had all the nice touches.

The room is on the small side but isn't a problem unless you have limited mobility. Good value for money.

Excellent location - very convenient for Hoe, Barbican and Central Plymouth. Try the Dolphin if you like proper beer in a local pub. Splendid breakfast - excellent choice. Very generous and helpful hosts. Many thanks

Very pleasant stay - all very comfortable and a warm welcome awaited me on arrival.

I was "in transit" and this was very convenient for public transport.
