10 of us stayed at the cabin. Plenty of room. Very comfortable.

Three families (6 adults and 8 kids) stayed in the Hidden Valley Lodge for spring break.
Pros:
Cabin was well stocked with kitchen essentials.
Bedrooms were quiet with comfortable beds.
Ample and clean bedding and towels for our large group.
Wrap around decks were amazing and allowed us to get some fresh air even when the weather wasn't cooperating.
Cabin was clean, although the cleaning service could pay a bit more attention to dust.
The hosts were great in responding to our messages and suggesting area attractions.
Location was perfect - far enough away from cities to enjoy the great outdoors, but a short drive for dining and entertainment.
Cons:
By day two or three, the hot tub needed service. We contacted the hosts who were good about placing a service call. Once the pool tech finished it was good as new for the last few days.
I had a miscommunication with the host about arranging a firewood delivery to the property. I assumed there would be firewood there but I didn't request a delivery of it. This was as much my fault as anybody's. I just mention it to give a heads up that if you want to enjoy the backyard firepit, you should request the firewood in advance or be prepared to go buy some yourself.
Overall:
Great place to stay in a beautiful location with killer views of the mountains! We met some of the neighbors who were really friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! Thank you Blake and Angela for an unbelievable spring break

Very large cabin perfect for families! The extra room with bunkbeds is ideal for younger kids. We loved the amenities like the hot tub, fire pit, and ping pong table. Around a 45 minute ride to the Biltmore and Asheville. Loved this cabin and hope we can come back again!

We had our annual family Christmas trip at this place and it was perfect

The house was perfect for 10 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday for a special individual! We all had our own beds; bathrooms were a plenty. Our favorite part was the BIG open room kitchen/table/sofa and chairs where we played a ton of games and was able to watch the UGA game on Saturday! Unfortunately we had plans in downtown Asheville both days so we were gone a big part of the day; if you are planning on renting I would recommend staying the entire time in the house! The huge wrap around porch with the amazing mountain view, sunrise and sunset was also a loved spot!

A wonderful home in a beautiful setting. We had a great time, with some limitations. Loved the wrap around porch. We had no TV or cell service and WiFi was very limited. The dryer took really long, should check the dryer vent. Toilets were sluggish.

A beautiful mountain house with a wonderful view of the mountains. The spacious wrap around porch was where we spent most of our time. There was plenty of space in the house and the kitchen was large enough to have many helping hands. The fire pit was nice and we spent an evening sitting around it talking and the kids enjoyed roasting marsh mellows. The hot tub was used several afternoons too. Overall a great place to stay!

Easy to get downtown and to all the hiking trails we wanted to do. Big house, lots of space to spread out for a large group.

We had three families of four visiting the Asheville area for our spring break trip. This beautiful cabin was spacious enough for everyone to spend time together or to separate and spend time doing different activities. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked. Beautiful views and very clean…it’s obvious the owners take pride in their cabin. It rained one day during our stay, but between the hot tub, game room, board games/puzzles, we stayed entertained all day. It is about a 45 minute drive to Asheville but close to other small towns, such as Maggie Valley. We loved our visit and this cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and well maintained. Arriving at night can be challenging based on the curvy roads and elevation. Highly recommend.

We had a great visit! The cabin is spacious and we had everything we needed!
Our only issue is the trash policy. We are sure a lot of guests check out on Sunday (when the trash place is closed) so we felt that removing trash should be complementary in that situation, not $25 PER BAG. Most of us flew, rented cars, and had luggage, so loading up trash for such a large group, and trying to find somewhere to take it was a huge hassle.

We rented this property for my husband’s 40th birthday. We were looking for a home large enough for our family and closest friends, and this home was exactly that. Everyone slept comfortably. There is plenty of seating, and the kitchen is amazing! We all rolled up in the house and felt right at home.
This home has everything you could need and more. Plenty of towels, FULLY stocked kitchen (ie: appliances, plate ware, utensils, etc.)
Hot tub on back porch overlooking the breathtaking view. Fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the backyard. Game room with air hockey, ping pong and endless board games and puzzles. The home has 4.5 bathrooms!!! A mini fridge downstairs, and washer/dryer.
We all highly recommend staying here, and we are already planning next year’s stay.
Thank you, Simons family

This cabin retreat exceeded our expectations! There is not a better place to go to find peace, enjoy time together, and escape! Hosts were wonderful, Angela & Blake made sure every detail was covered and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We are thankful and will book this again next year!

Large comfortable home, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our large group had places for each person to relax or socialize in smaller groups.
The weather was foggy and damp but we still enjoyed the game rooms, firepit and whirlpool.
Hiking in Mt. Pisgah and farmers market & shops in Waynesville kept us busy. Wonderful time for all!

Wonderful and spacious house, plenty of room for our 4 couples with a king size bed for each couple.. Terrific kitchen which we appreciated because we cooked all of our own meals. The hot tub provided a relaxing way to end our busy days. Would stay again if we were to return to Asheville.

Great property, with everything we needed for a mountain biking weekend. The location is very secluded, but it also gives this house a feeling of a retreat after a hard day at the trails. Definitely will come back!

Our large group loved our stay at this gorgeous house. It had everything we could've wanted to stay entertained -- a fireplace, hot tub, corn hole and other numerous games. The porch is also amazing! The kitchen was a great size for cooking large meals, and the bedrooms were also spacious (especially the king bedrooms). The beds were mostly comfortable, except the pull-out couches left a bit to be desired, but we made it work by putting the mattresses from the pull-outs on the floor.
The location is beautiful! Pretty secluded but just what you want for a relaxing getaway. It was about a 35-40 minute drive to downtown Asheville, which was doable. The only real complaint we had was the wifi... we had a few people expecting to be able to work remotely but the wifi wouldn't even load emails the first day we were there! However, we called Angela and she contacted the internet company and it got better the next day so that we were able to at least load some things. We would still definitely stay here again, just expect to not be able to use the internet sometimes!

This house was fabulous for our extended family of 15 adults! We had a family reunion of sorts that included 4 families. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked! Plenty of space for all of us to either gather together or find a quiet area if you wanted one. Every day we did a different activity: white water rafting one day, hiked a beautiful trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway the next, and then a day of breweries and shopping in downtown Asheville. In the evenings we grilled dinner, played games, sat in the hot tub and gathered around the firepit. There was also ample seating to gather on the wrap around porches and enjoy the beautiful view. It was very quiet and private. There was also amply parking for all of our cars (We had 7 cars during our stay). Great space to reconnect with family. WIFI was a little slow and "spotty" but it was actually refreshing for everyone not to have their noses in their phone and laptops the entire time. We would definitely return to this house!

Hidden Valley Retreat fun family time
Nice cabin. Large enough for all our family to stay together. The large bedrooms with King size beds were super nice. The porches were also very nice with plenty of seating for all of us to hang out together. Fire ring was nice. This cabin has it all.

Beautiful Mountain Cabin
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The house was large enough for our 13 guests, so much so, we barely used the 2nd living space! The main floor is open, and shows stunning views of the mountain! The 5 bedrooms are all large and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, much better than other vacation homes we’ve rented.
All around we were impressed with the amenities. We are even looking to book our next stay there!

One of the most welcoming and comfortable places to stay!
We have been traveling to the mountains twice a year for the last 13 years. This has been by far the most welcoming, best stocked, comfortable and cleanest home we have stayed in. Great for family gatherings and plenty of room for all!

Excellent Getaway in the Mountains
Really a wonderful stay at this secluded getaway in the mountains. Great to reconnect with family, with tons of space, and to "get away from it all". Property managers are prompt with responses and everything just turned out better than expected. Cabin was decorated tastefully for Christmas. Thank you for a lovely stay.
