What a warm welcome we received! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
4.5
Nice and tidy room, close to Winchester city centre and walking distance from facilities.
Room was very clean with all toiletries available, complete breakfast was brought on demand for me in the early morning
2.5
Extremely small bed room and small toilett. There was no breakfast room in the house, so breakfast was served in the room. We had to sit on the beds due to lack of space, which became very inconvenient
3.0
The location was good and we enjoyed our walks into Winchester.
The breakfast was left on a tray outside our room, which was very small, so we did not have much room to eat our breakfast - either sitting on the bed or kneeling down. They had converted the upstairs to 4, probably very small rooms, small bathroom and no soundproofing. We could hear our neighbours the first night in their bathroom.
Richard was nice when we saw him. No-one was there when we left. I only saw e-mails when I got back home yesterday evening.

Clean, quiet, free parking, very generous breakfast tray.

Small but very clean room and although it was an in-room tray breakfast was exceptionally good and more than enough for two. It arrived with warm toast and croissants and a nice selection.
4.0
It was a tray continental breakfast left at our door. I dont know why, I dont know if they usually have a dining room but there was plenty of choice and it was all very nice.
We would have preferred a dining room but we did enjoy our breakfast and it was quite nice to be on our own actually.

Very clean, generous breakfast delivered to your door. Good parking. Did the job for a 1 night stay (we were going to a wedding nearby).
We mistakenly thought we'd booked a hotel - this is very much a B&B and think that should be clearly stated. Bathroom was very small, decour dated and sound travels very easily.

A hidden gem in Winchester absolute quality, continental break was amazing

Room is very clean, beds comfortable, host friendly, many food options for breakfast and well prepared. The property is close to Univ. of Winchester and its environment is nice. One bus takes us to the downtown of Winchester.
Very few stores close to the property.

No.31 is in an ideal location to explore central Winchester and the surrounding area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast delivered to our room was very, very good and the parking permit provided by our hosts meant that we could park up without any parking concerns.
Nothing!
2.5
Clean room in a convenient location for getting into the city. Parking permit available.
On arrival, after a long drive, we had a cup of tea in the room. The tray in the room provided the bare minimum. Only two tea bags were available and the following morning we realised there were none left for an early cuppa plus only one packet of three biscuits for the two of us. The breakfast was on a tray and left outside our room. Although we were aware of this on booking it seems this was due to COVID at the time and these precautions are still being followed. The room was far too small to accommodate breakfast. Hardly any space for a tray to be placed and to actually eat breakfast was a shuffle around as to where to put plates etc. There was plenty to eat on the tray including instant porridge and cold croissants so not particularly overwhelming. The kettle in the room kept cutting out several times before reaching a boil. If it ever did. A note was left pointing this out. Not good value for money in our opinion.
2.5
Close to centre.
Parking on road outside
Intermittent water supply to sink taps, cold room. Difficult to contact staff, tried 3 of the four numbers given, not active now.

Breakfast was very good
The door to my room and the key.
The door didn't open easily
The key was "old fashion" type of key.
The timer on the TV was very annoying.

The shower room was very small and the water pressure wasn’t great, but it was clean and lots of towels and toiletries.

Breakfast was great and the gentleman I spoke to was fantastic
Shower did not work, although fixed for the morning. Kettle did not boil and kept switching on and off on its own and tv remote did not work.
Guess in room next was loud and I could here ever conversation
5.0
Amazing value, croissants, 2 cereals, , yoghurts, cafetiere coffee, tea fruit juice, yoghurt , cheese, 2 types of fruit and a probiotic drink. Toast is also included but I had an early start so the above was left outside my room a long with a cooler bag for ice cold milk for my cereal.
There was nothing to dislike.
3.5
Location was good, just a fifteen minute walk into the centre.
This property is still in covid mode. Breakfast was delivered on a tray to your room, mainly pre wrapped items from a supermarket. If I hadn’t opened the door promptly, we wouldn’t have seen the proprietor at all during our stay. The TV remote control was wrapped in clingfilm!
4.5
Ideally placed for an overnight stay when dropping daughter at the university. Parking on the drive was a bonus. Comfortable bed. Far more breakfast than we could eat. Thanks
