Located in East Kent, known as the 'garden of England' and only six minutes from Canterbury city centre and ten minutes from the Whitstable coast by car, Tyler Hill is a beautiful and well-connected rural hamlet on the outskirts of Canterbury. It is also only two minutes from the rear entrance of Kent University. Tyler Hill is so named after the medieval tile production in the area and in fact several circa 700 year old tile kiln sit within a few hundred metres of the property.
A bus service runs from near the pub and runs to Kent University, Canterbury city centre, Whitstable and Chestfield.
Canterbury is reachable in only 56 minutes from London by high speed train into Canterbury West station. Taxis from the train station to Hambrook House cost between £6 and £9.50 dependent on time of day and size of vehicle.
A grass Helipad is available for use in the village for a £60 charge.
Please note that the dining room table can only accommodate 8 people at a time. The garden gazebo may be available which can accommodate 12.
Crockery and cutlery is provided for 12.
There are two suite living rooms which can accommodate 4-6 people each.

There is an award-winning pub on the corner of the adjacent road called The Tyler's Kiln offering fine dining as well as gourmet pub food.

Every single detail was thought out. Amazing amenities, the softest waffle robes. Beautiful bathrooms, wonderful ESPA toiletries, a actially decent GOOD hairdryer, tea and coffee in each room, comfy beds, easy check-in, Allister was awesome and responded to any queries we had. Perfect house for a group of 12 friends (6couples) wanting to get away. We can't wait to go back next year! Thank you!!!!
