Beautiful rooms. Excellent communication.
Alarms going off in the night. Lack of common area when staying with others. Keybox problems. Shower room maintenance.
4.1
Very stylish furnishings and very comfortable bed and bedding.
A tiny fault; a towel rail in the en-suite bathroom would have been helpful
4.1
Very comfortable but a bit bleak on a grey day
There was no breakfast which was a minus for me but I was aware of that when I booked so no complaints
4.1
Decor, the fact it was all accessed by coded entry and the fact there was only 1 other couple staying
It was a shame the Engine Yard closed when we arrived - it would be an amazing facility to have functioning for guests to enjoy.
The windows need something more than blinds to keep the light out. With 2 young children it was light until well past 9pm, so they were awake!
The front door and entrance corridor are very loud. The only other couple staying in Vale House came back at 11.30 and woke up our room with noise.

Excellent all round. Lovely staff and the beds are so comfortable! We had an excellent stay and they really pulled out the stops for us to have a romantic getaway. Great facilities, great location, and it's quick and easy to check in and make the most of your stay.
The room got a little cold early morning and I couldn't figure out how to use the heaters.

Surrounded area was pretty
That they forgot to leave our key in the key lock so we arrived back after a wedding at 1am in the morning with our children to discover that we were locked out of our room.

Very quirky and very beautiful setting . Thank you so much for the extended check out . Will be back x

The breakfast was very good with helpful staff Disappointed that none of the outlets including the pizza place next door offered evening food.
The ensuite was not enclosed, no door no ceiling!
The bookshelves were features, but had no books.
The screwdriver left in the bedroom confirmed our suspicion that it was newly done.

Everything was great. The room is wonderful, location is perfect. They allowed us to check in early which was nice too.
We didn't get our welcome prosecco unfortunately as they miscalculated numbers. I was looking forward to arriving at such a beautiful place and enjoying a glass with my partner. They said would look into it but we checked out with no response.

Perfect location for visiting Belvoir Castle
Easy instructions for contactless entry and advice for nearby breakfast
Room wasa little chilly, most likely just some insulation around windows would assist. Due to age of building double glazing may not be possible but blankets and bathrobes were provided.o

The bed was superb. The safe environment. Secure parking. Quiet area. Clean. Nice to have a fridge.
Need a plastic liner for bins.
4.1
quirky interior, individual rooms

close to Belvoir castle which is why I booked. Bed was very comfy
4.1
unique, different, interesting to look at. warm, clean, tv adequate. complimentary water and Prosecco a nice touch. good room.
bathroom wasn’t en suite, separate room. worked this time, but if my husband hadn’t been ill and had come, I would have liked separate room. was different though and v pleasant.

Nice room. Good location
Was told to contact a mobile number to gain access to the property before arrival as there were no staff on site.
Text and made numerous phone calls to the given mobile number and heard nothing back. Left a message on booking dot com nothing. After waiting in a freezing car park for over 20 minutes, rang a number off the Belvoir website (during working hours and on a week day) and was given the code. Not sure what would have happened out of hours. No one contacted us to make sure we got into the property and had settled in. Normally I would give feedback directly but staying at Vale House was like being on the Maria Celeste.
4.1
Room clean and comfortable.
Communication about key code was great. The venue is difficult to find and better instructions would help you turn into a lane that says staff only and it was difficult to find on a dark and misty November evening.
4.1
excellent furnishings in the room
Tv didn’t work

Beautiful and comfortable homey stay next to the Belvoir Castle. Unbeatable location with gorgeous views, lovely setting and good restaurant options only few minutes away (one next door and one 4 min drive).
Nothing negative, perhaps it would be nice to have a few more way finding if you arrive by cab as there are multiple entrances and gates but everything is really round the corner and very well curated.

nice and warm

The bed was comfortable-----otherwise see below !
Room was v poor value. Windows didnt open. No heating. No curtains. Blinds ---people could see in. No Loo door. Smell.
Ghastly rugs couldnt possibly be cleaned. Mascerator kicked in every time one used the Loo----noisy. No chairs for clothes/seating ! The basin SO small that one couldnt shave let alone wash ones hands.

We visited Belvoir Castle for an evening event and the location was excellent for this.
The arrival process was really easy with door codes provided in advance.
The venue and room were really well decorated, very plush furnishings. The bed was comfortable and complimentary water, prosecco and biscuits were very welcome.
The room was very hot due to the temperature outside. It only has large, heavy sash windows which I didn't want to leave open as I slept so there was no ventilation.
Getting from the car park to the accommodation was really confusing, there is no signage. I asked a staff member where Vale House is and they said they hadn't heard of it. Once I found the accommodation it turned out that the staff member was at the back door of Vale House itself, very odd!
I felt the accommodation was very overpriced for one night.
4.1
lovely decor, clean, good online contact
other guests bit noisy, no staff on site, no leaflets on castle and house history
4.1
staff were excellent friendly helpful and did what they promised...eg early check in time, emails, texts etc
Room good bed comfortable only thing I could fault was the water pressure which is low.
This is not a complaint but a suggestion....the 'arrival experience' from the car park is poor I think you need to rethink this .
4.1
Elegant decor
Walls and doors are rather thin. This may be a problem if you don’t want to listen to other guests’ bedroom fun throughout the night!
4.1
Really liked the location and room .
The only downside in the quadruple room was the shower was in a very small space , it wasn’t a proper bathroom.
4.1
Lovely location….perfect for our visit at Belvoir Castle. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to look around the independent retail units but we will definitely return to do so.
Unfortunately the room opposite ours had zero respect for anyone else in the building. Absolutely not the Vale’s fault.
