About this house rental
A L'envers is a great quirky upside down house making the most of the wonderful views over the field to the cliff and sea. Enjoy this spacious, sociable property with the added benefit of a hallway/playroom for the children, a balcony off the first floor lounge via patio doors taking in the views and a very well equipped kitchen. Benefitting also from having four bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, utility, downstairs cloakroom and out to the split level garden with patio with steps leading up to the lawned area of the garden. There is a terrace at the front of the property too.
The Victorian seaside town of Swanage with its eclectic mix of independent cafes, shops and galleries is only an approx 15 minute walk from the property. Not to mention of course its sandy beach and steam railway. The historic and picturesque Corfe Castle is just 5 miles away and the National Trust beach at Studland with its 4 miles stretch of sandy beach is within a 15 minute drive.
Size: Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms Beds: 1 x king size, 2 x double (1 with cot), 1 x twin room (2 single beds) Rooms: First floor Lounge/Diner/kitchen, Ground floor - 4 bedrooms, 1 shower room with walk in shower, wc, basin & heated towel rail, 1 bathroom - bath with shower attachment over, walk in shower, wc, basin & heated towel rail. Hallway/playroom with sofa and tv. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Cloakroom with wc and basin. Door out to garden. Kitchen/Utilities: Modern well equipped kitchen, double electric oven, electric hob, integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Microwave. Lots of storage cupboards and worktop space. Breakfast bar with 4 stools. Entertainment: Lounge with tv, patio doors onto balcony with fantastic views. Parking: There is parking for one car on the driveway, there is a garage that you can use to park one small car in or use as storage for bikes, paddleboards or kayaks etc. Garden: Enclosed rear garden has a patio area and steps leading up to a lawned area of the garden. Front terrace with fabulous views over to the sea. General: Wifi included. Bed linen and towels are provided please bring your own beach towels. Also please bring with you all bedding for the cot. Pets: Sorry no pets allowed.

This was a family holiday and the house catered well for us all. My only criticism would be that whilst we had plenty of dishes, cutlery etc we were lacking a large saucepan! The house was spacious and sociable. We loved the upside-down set up and the views from the balcony off the lounge were amazing. The house was situated in a peaceful area, within walking distance of the beach and Swanage town.
We loved the area as there was so much to do and see. The owners provided lots of information and recommendations which we found very useful.

Excellent venue, comfortable, warm with excellent views to sea.
Would stay again.
Problems(small and would not stop us returning )need more & bigger saucepans and fridge if catering for 8 adults. Dishwasher seal kept coming off and needs seeing to.

Upside house
I would definitely stay in this house again, it was perfect for our family. The views are spectacular and i Iike the fact that its on the edge of town and so quiet.
