Husband and I decided to take a 3 day getaway from the world to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Had the most amazing time! Was private, quiet, and very little service made for some nice quality time. Best part was relaxing in the hot tub during the thunder and rain storm.Will be coming back!

It was a beautiful small little place. The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything we needed, towels and dishes, very nice. The only thing was there was cobwebs everywhere inside and out. The property could have been taken care of better the weeds were growing up through the chairs down by the fire pit, the pathway to the water needs to TLC. But really we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean there was a fan going when we arrived which we greatly appreciated. The weather was in the 90’s and no air conditioning so it was nice. Thank you.

This property is great if you want to completely escape. The wifi service is spotty, as well as the cell service. This is not a private owner, but a vacation rental company. The staff are very kind, but you are required to sign an additional contract to stay here. The cabin itself is great. It's close to the river. The property was tricky to find and the road off the main road is not very well kept.

There was a storm coming at big storm... The lock code did not work but Meredith was very responsive immediately! And got us in. we lost power the second day and had to leave 2 days early. Other than that the property is perfect!

Secluded cabin, great place to relax and unwind

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and were pretty disappointed. When we arrived we had be given the wrong code for the door so we could not get inside, this made worse because we had very little cell service and we couldn't get anyone to answer the calls we could get to go through. Eventually we had to get the booking site to contact the host and we finally got in after an hour of standing in the rain. When we entered the house we quickly realized there hadn't been any recent dusting due to the large quantity of spiders. Being in a cabin in the woods obviously we expected spiders but they were seriously everywher to the point we almost left early. We even had a spider crawling in our luggage at one point that was sitting on our bed. The hot tub was colder than I take my showers so we couldn't use that either which was one of the main reasons we booked here. The Roku was not functioning but that wasn't a big deal since we weren't really there to watch TV. Everything else was great. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, the appliances are all very small but the space is small so it is necessary but it all worked fine. We definitely wouldn't come back due to my severe arachnophobia but if you're not afraid of spiders I'm sure it wouldn't have been so bad.

We enjoyed the home directions were clear. Regional safety communication regarding fire hazards and wildlife in the area were well communicated. Had some shortcomings on property access with wrong codes to doors and locks. Otherwise the home was well lit inside and outside. The river was immediately accessible to the lot which was very convenient and scenic. Area immediate to the cabin was clear cut. We had some issues with spiders and webs in the interior but nothing a quick dusting cannot fix. The plan is very well laid out. Some furniture pieces are a bit worn out and need to be replaced. Shopping around the area is convenient and so are the restaurants and coffee stores. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back!

Amazing cozy place for two! We enjoyed a stay focused of connecting with nature and relaxation. Just what we needed. There is no AC which 99% of the year is just fine. We were there the hottest week of the year so just a heads up if temp is 98 or higher

An excellent location with all the needed amenities that we will definitely be staying at again. Cleanliness would have gotten 5 stars, but 1/3 of the dishes we went to use were dirty and we had to wash them before using.

Very cute and comfortable cabin. We loved how quiet it was (except for the rushing River sound right outside which we really loved!). Kitchen was tiny but surprisingly well equipped.

My husband and I, along with our two dogs, enjoyed our post-wedding ‘mini-moon’ here for 4 days and 3 nights. It was the perfect getaway! The location is secluded and peaceful, but still close to town. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and playing games. The gravel road to the cabin is very narrow and somewhat difficult to spot, but we were able to find it with the provided directions. We also didn’t have service through AT&T, but there is Wi-Fi. We’ll definitely be back!

With the increasingly higher pricing and over inflated cleaning charges, which are not advertised, and the instructions on how to leave the cabin, it is no longer worth the trouble. The cabin was not in good enough order in supplies and cleanliness vs the amount of money that is charged for the cleaning service (and to overall cost of the rental). The hot tub was barely functional, holding 99 degrees only after about 10 minutes. It isn't really fun when companies try to suck the money out people as a primary goal vs focusing service, which should be their primary goal.

We were totally free from the hustle and bustle of every day life and felt like we were truly able to disconnect for the world and connect with each other and with nature. We so badly did not want to leave. As much as I hope to return to this very cabin again one day, I would not hesitate to try another Mt Hood Vacation Rental property. We were very impressed with the management and knowledgable staff. 10/10 would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, even though we only had a short time. Everything was fantastic except for the bed, we both had a really hard time sleeping on the bed. Great location. Very close to awesome hiking trails, two small grocery stores, Mount Hood and restaurants. Mount Hood Brewery I highly recommend for a cold glass of beer and amazing food. Plenty of amenities, even had laundry detergent so you could do one load if needed. Plenty of towels and kitchen equipment (dishes, silver wear, anything you would need). The ceiling is higher than average, making the space feel bigger, so cozy. There is a land line because cellular service is very weak but hey, unplug and relax! Spent a lot of time on the patio (sipping on a beer in evening and coffee in the morning, ahhhh) listening to the rushing river close by. Staff at rental office was very friendly. They recommended a couple of hiking trails and they didn't disappoint- Salmon River Trail and Mirror Lake. We would totally stay here again and highly recommend!
