The room was fine but we were disappointed by the lack of healthy cooked food to eat in the evening.
3.8
Place seemed clean, nice looking bar area decent lagers available on draught.
The bed was comfortable decent mattress
24 hr shop connected very handy.
Booked within 24 hrs of going and was happy with price.
Reception staff friendly and professional
Would use again.

It was clean plenty of tea/coffee. Reception were polite and helpful so good stay.
3.8
Bathroom was not the cleanest
3.8
No room service the 4 days we were there. I can make our bed with no problem, but not to empty the waste bin or restock the tea tray was bad, when asked at reception they said they didn't have any tea making things.

average motorway hotel - decent parking

Well when arrived after double shift and come to hotel late I couldn’t be bothered to complaint but when I open the room there was strange smell the rest was ok just surprised how they didn’t know about the smell I won’t use it in future unfortunately

A standard Days Inn nothing to shout about: Good or Bad.
Had a small bar and food available that was a bonus.
3.8
OK for a nights stopover but nothing more
3.8
Nice simple clean. I did what we wanted nice clean and friendly place.
3.8
Very dated and room smelt musty. Linen and bathroom were clean. Irritated by alarm system beeping for hours after someone opened the fire exit. Staff struggled to get it turned off until late as couldn't reset the alarm.
3.8
Hotel was nice. Was clean enough although we did find plenty of cob webs in the room
3.8
Good value, convenient, big rooms
3.8
Pros:
Friendly staff
Nice clean and tidy room with hotel amenities
Good location
Comfy bed and sheets
Cons:
No lift
If I was to stay again would ask if there's a vegan option for breakfast
3.8
Very good value, the accommodation is spot on.
3.8
Good quality budget room! excellent friendly staff
3.8
Fine for the intended purpose. The room was very warm, but current weather conditions are in the high 20s; a fan was provided in the room to aid matters.
3.8
It was a really nice place clean everything we wanted
3.8
Very noisy and room lake an oven. Left at 0230 after terrible night trying to sleep. Complained to hotel to be told I should have asked for a fan or to be moved which we were not going to do at this late hour

Mixed feelings about this place. First impressions on arriving: an efficient check in by a receptionist with mimimal interaction didn't give us the 'Wow' factor. We felt quite dismissed when we asked things. In contrast, the receptionists this morning were much more engaging, even despite my typo the night before. Sorry again. The word I wanted was APATHETIC. Not pathetic as we were told was recorded!!
The room was accessible for disability. Well done I have to say.. but we booked a twin room. Consequently the room, while very clean, was SPARSE and VERY HOT!! The window only opened a little and noise from the nearby A50 meant it had to be closed at night. No A/C or fan. Would have helped. The food menu was very basic - Pizza or 2 curries. The shop attached was a real rescue.
Car parking was great and the booking very affordable. It was breakfast included'. A box with cereal, cartons of milk and juice, a flapjack and a cold pain au chocolat. Not exactly mouth watering!
So, in summary, some positives but a lot lacking even despite the price. Would we use it again? Probably not I'm afraid.
Apologies again for the inadvertent offence.
Hope this is seen as more constructive.

Great coinvent stop for early airport times, shame not any food

Great room, nice stay.

Used the hotel just for a bed, arrived at 9:30pm and left at 8am. Room was ok, fan in bathroom made a horrible rattling noise and needs to be replace (informed reception).
For the price we paid (£45) for the night it was worth it for what we wanted it for which was to get a few hours sleep. Wouldn't want to stay there for a long time as there is nothing at the hotel and you only have one direction to go when you leave due to the nature of it being beside a dual carriageway.
Totally adequate for our purpose.
3.8
Very basic hotel just off a busy road. Quite clean and staff friendly.
3.8
Good value for money
3.8
Shower was abismal. Barely a weak flow at best & no hot water
3.8
Having a room above the entrance and needing to have window open, first the noisy smokers talking loudly followed by the smoke, not to mention the dual carriageway noise a couple of hundred metres away.

Room was very good. Free breakfast was a takeaway box.Not impressed. Staff were friendly. We bought a In house Pizza deal. 2 pizzas and two beers £38. I was charged £6.45 VAT???? Was not told this. As there is nowhere near. You will have to drive into Derby..Ok for a quick pitstop. I'm glad i did not use my rewards.
I'm coming back to the Area in September.
Have cancelled my booking here. A booked another Hotel. Nearer to Donington Castle Curcuit.

Reception woke me up knocking on my door at around 11pm. Opened the door, they asked my name, then said okay and walked off. It was weird. And you could hear every slight movement from the room above.
3.8
Perfect for our needs, comfortable and quiet. Clean and relaxed.

Tt's basically a travellers place to stay for an evening or two I would say. Having said that, it's also a good location if you want to use it to explore the area by car. I found the reception fine, the small bar area was fine - but shock horror no Guinness. I booked two rooms, a double for me and my wife and a room, with single beds, for my daughter. Somehow that got reversed, so a bit more attention to detail. Both rooms were clean, fresh and functional. Huge bath in ours and good water pressure, although the shower fitting is not really made for anyone over 5' 2''. Bathroom well stoked with smellies, towels, tissues, and best of all a handrail in the shower/bath.
Beds were comfortable, with a decent amount of tea and coffee, could of done with somewhere to put our case to unpack, but that's just a small personal liking.
I have stayed in other hotels / B&B's in the area and have to say, for the price, this is by far the best value for money and also comfort. OK you can't go for a walk to a local restaurant or bar and wander back, you'll have to use the car, but I found that ok as a nightcap can be had a the the fairly decent small bar, a tad dear, but I'm happy to pay for this sort of convenience.
