Beautiful experience in a well located hotel, close to the beach, with delicious breakfast, cozy beds and very friendly staff

The grounds were beautiful. The pool was right next to our patio. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast had many options.
8.0 / 10.0
Nice hotel with good location! It’s in the middle of everything and you’ll find a lot of dining options nearby. The staff is really friendly and breakfast is good. The bathroom and certain areas need to be updated, but besides that everything was great.

The property grounds were beautiful on the outside. The room itself had a terribly strong mildew smell and was very basic. The bedding also had a strong odor. The shower was difficult to turn on and off and water sprayed onto the bathroom floor. The staff upon arrival was rude and visibly irritated that I arrived so late due to my delayed flight and long drive from the airport. He rushed my partner and called within 15 minutes of settling into my room to tell me he needed to move his car since the car wasn’t going to be there overnight. The in and out restrictions are understably for safety but made it complicated. Other than that the breakfast buffet was nice and the pool area was beautiful. I would not however stay there again.

The mattress was like sleeping on stone, customer service at the restaurant was not that great. The chef was nice!

Parking awful. Receptionist female attitude the worst. Assistant and people in the restaurant great!

Highly recommended place to stay for a romantic get away. The facilities are clean and gorgeous. The staff is friendly and the restaurant provides delicious gourmet meals.
Perfect place for animal siting as monkeys, birds, and even a sloth were seen on site.

The hotel was beautiful and in a good location. The staff were very friendly. From our room you heard alot of road traffic. The elevator was broken. Breakfast was below average. Very limited choices and the same thing everyday.

The room was large, however we were told we’d have a balcony and a partial ocean view, we didn’t.

Lovely place to stay!!

The hotel is not recent but has been well maintained over the years. It has a nice retro look. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant offers a reasonable choice.
The hotel plot is hilly so might be difficult for people with mobility problems.
Convenient for both national park, beach and town.

This is a beautiful hotel - walkways through lush gardens… My room was spacious and comfortable, decorated with stunning paintings. The swimming pool was gorgeous.
My only complaint was that the restaurant team played loud music for most of the day, which, due to the position of the speakers, could be heard everywhere - in my room - by the pool etc.. This interrupted my peace and relaxation.
I politely spoke to the staff and manager, so I hope that this will be sorted out. A playlist with chill out music at a sensible volume would be far more suitable.

Posh boutique hotel. Two nice pools. Wonderful onsite restaurant. Plush bedding with weighted blankets. Nicely furnished. No early checkin offered, but plenty to do in the area.

Everything was great except the elevators which was broken all the time and I had to carry heavy luggages 3 floors without any dolly or available help.
TV and internet speed was great

The hotel was ok. Some rooms much better than others. We booked 2 rooms.
1 was on the ground floor and had 1 pool only accessible to the 4 rooms facing it. Great for them.
The other was on the 3rd floor. There was no elevator. Permanently out of order. So much that the garbage can are placed in front of the door.
Our safe didn’t work. When we asked, a man came with batteries pretending to fix it, but he knew full well it was broken.
We asked to move to the first floor to be closer to oir family and they said we couldn’t, they were completely full. When we noticed that was a complete lie as there were numerous rooms empty, the man at the front desk bluntly said no because it was too much trouble for them? We said we can move our stuff ourselves, he said no. We asked what about customer sevice and the customer is always right, he replied, I completely disagree with that statement.
Both rooms were very dark with any window.
We go to Manuel Antonio once per year and will definitely avoid this hotel from now on.
Pales in comparison to Costa Verde.

The room had a smell of mould and dampness that hard to tolerate even with scented candles . Everything looked old and in need to a deep clean. The staff was average and the breakfast was fairly good. The location is convenient and the price is almost fair for what you get. If you are looking for a base to sleep and a good breakfast , then it is fine . I will not stay again in this hotel .

Very nice hotel, clean and good rooms (a little bit dark) with super kind staff. Nature all over the hotel. Two nice pools and very good Soda in walking distance (Soda El Angel). Bus stop super near to the hotel to reach the Manuel Antonio Nationalpark and beaches. Breakfast was solid, but could have more variety

1st time visiting Costa Rica and we came for my best friends 34th birthday. We had an amazing time. The amazing front desk staff was very helpful from the time of check in to the time of check out. Dolores and Will that work the hotel bar and restaurant have the best customer service and were both very nice and helpful with places to explore. I look forward to staying at Villas Lirio next time I’m in Costa Rica.

A great hotel for any Costa Rican adventure! This hotel has a central location between both Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos, making it easy to go out for food, activities, shopping, or anything else. The staff throughout the facility are super friendly and do their very best to accommodate you! They have all the essential amenities including breakfast, swimming pool, air conditioning, all which were great, also with the extra bonus of being able to spot some local wildlife! While not a 5-star hotel this is an amazing place to settle in while enjoying paradise

Our room was fabulous! It was located on the first floor with a walk out area to the lap pool. Breakfast was wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the room was handicap accessible and therefore the shower leaked water all over the bathroom. I used a pool towel to stop the stream of water from the shower. I don't know if all of the rooms were like this or just ours. The hotel was conveniently located and an easy walk to the super mercado. The breakfast included the best scrambled eggs I have had in Costa Rica. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It appears to be a hotel that was once of old world grandeur. Sadly it needs more attention. It could be fabulous again as it’s very elegant. The staff are very lovely though the dining room although it said it was open, did not appear to be used again sadly, it could be more.

The pool at the property is really nice. The rooms are a little dated but nice overall. The staff were great, and the location is good for getting around the area. There are great restaurants in both directions. The bus stops right outside the hotel but lots of places are wakable as well.

It was pretty good. We only stayed one night so don't have much to say...

The perfect ambiance and even though it's in the middle of the city Main street, you feel like you are tucked away in the jungle. I would recommend this hotel anytime and I will be back to revisit
