It was a convenient night of passage en route to the Channel Tunnel. Very useful that you take dogs. The second time that we have used this hotel. Reception staff welcoming and friendly.
4.3
Very convenient for the Eurotunnel, room is small but functional. The hotel has seen better days and it’s fairly expensive for the standard but you pay for the convenience to the Eurotunnel. No electric car chargers that I could see.
4.3
On route to the Shuttle very busy. Comfortable bed and rooms
4.3
Double the price of Premier Inn but not double the experience. No tea bags in bedroom. No bedside cabinet on one side of bed so no were to place things whilst in bed. Only one lift and VERY busy. Gave up waiting and ended up walking three flights of stairs
4.3
The beds were small for 2 adults and only 2 cups when there were 3 of us .
4.3
Arrived early and car parking registration process explained. Very easy check-in. Staff very friendly. Hotel very clean. Room a good size and well equipped. We had breakfast in hotel which was well presented but didn’t choose to dine in hotel or use the bar.
4.3
The packed breakfast was amazing. The bacon and sausage sandwiches were just what you needed for a quick breakfast whilst travelling through the tunnel. They were nice and warm.
4.3
TOTALLY UNSANITARY!
Leaking toilet. Each time the toilet was flushed it leaked water onto the floor. Issue only noticed when our 2 young children were in bed so we couldnt swap rooms. However once we raised it, no-one seemed to care.
Left with a floor that we had to clean, and a toilet that we couldnt flush.
Issue raised 4 times since by email and customer services. I intend to contact the Department for Health.
4.3
Needs plug sockets by the beds for charging, other than that, good breakfast and ideal for Channel Tunnel
4.3
Convenient for Rurotunnel Terminal. Had dog friendly room for our stay with our greyhound. Room could have done with a refresh, bit smelly. Overall was pretty busy as it was in the school holidays and peak travel time, staff did well to cope.
4.3
Too many dogs - disgusting
4.3
Comfortable accommodation and a convenient location for getting on the euro tunnel.
4.3
Nice and clean and good for using the le shuttle. Food options were not great and food wasnt that nice very basic and no taste. Rooms were nice and comfy however, we were a family of 6 that had to book 2 rooms to fit us all in and they put us in separate places. Me and 2 kids were in one of the conjoined rooms so had a door between us and next door and you could hear EVERYTHING! sneezing, TV, them talking and they were so loud until early hours of the morning. The doors are also not slow closing so would slam shut. Very dangerous especially for little kids
4.3
The room had no air-conditioning or fan so the room was very hot during the night. We had to open the window and listen to the motorway.
4.3
Better than i expected. Food was nice enough. Catered to dietary requirements. Good size room for dog.
One criticism, give that many people with dogs stay here, it would be nice to have an exercise area for them. Tbe 'pathway' over the road is not nice at all.
4.3
Very nosey room was right near the door at the carpark constant banging of the door kept us awake and being right at the car park we heard everything
4.3
One night stay before heading to Le Shuttle. Check in was quick and easy. Several parking spaces available on arrival late at night. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful with options to take away for those on earlier trains. Very smooth and efficient.
4.3
We were given a disabled room which we hadn't requested and with facilities we didn't want or need. On arrival and throughout our stay the bathroom floor was wet (due to sink tap leaking and very stiff to use). Toilet flush extremely weak. We reported these but it was just noted!
It was not completely soundproof (could here people walking above).
There was a green light on the ceiling in the room which we couldn't switch off and was preventing us from getting to sleep. At 10.45 p.m. we complained and a man came who put some black tape over it!
We had an awful (microwaved?) meal for £14 each which we couldn't eat.
Breakfast was fine.
4.3
Very good stay as room was perfect + large shower, all very clean. Breakfast & dinner on site and good choices and for those with special diets. Surroundings very pleasant & kept tidy. All the staff were very friendly & looked after all your needs. Definately would stay there again.
4.3
We stayed as we had an early Chunnel crossing and this is a very convenient location. I wasnt expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, staff were first class - late check in at 22.30, staff were happy and polite. Earky check out 5am, staff were happy and polite.. really refreshing. We left too early to eat breakfast, but they gave us a breakfast and coffee to take away. Bed was comfy, shower was good. There's a bar and restaurant, but i didnt try them. Only note is parking is a little limited, spaces are small. Oh yeah, and people like me are leaving at 5am, so it can be a little noisy in the morning.
4.3
Clean comfy room, good shower & helpful staff. Check-in a breeze. Basic menu for the restaurant, but a great steak & ale pie.
4.3
We stayed in a family room for one night before using the Euro Tunnel the next day. We had an early crossing but there was a breakfast available at 5am and it was brilliant! Had everything we needed.
The sofa bed was not made up when we arrived but it was no issue for the staff who had it done before we returned from having some food.
Great location, and very easy to get to the Euro Tunnel. Even a petrol station very close by the hotel as well
4.3
Air con flashed all night
Bed short
Sofa bed not at all wide. Could do so much better
4 small milks - use 2 in a cup and 4 people in room? Only 2 cups for 4 people booked?
4.3
This was our second overnight stay here as convenience for early channel tunnel train. This time unfortunately was not as good as the first. Cleanliness was perfect but we had an issue with air conditioning not working. We didn’t report this to be fair as we were late arriving and by the time we realised it wasn’t working we were past the point of no return. Overall it was great and I would stay here again if required.
4.3
Friendly welcome. Decent room. 2nd bed wasn’t comfy, but just about adequate. Breakfast was included and was ok at best
4.3
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location for Le Shuttle. Clean and comfortable.
4.3
Crowdy family hotel as a stop over for the Chunnel service. Ok for 1 night. "Restaurant" is more a fas food diner than restaurant. Very smaal bathroom but clean.
4.3
Some jolly, friendly staff, some not!!
Booked well in advance n got a room overlooking the bins n laundry, noise of bottles n crates!!!
4.3
Room, service and parking facilities excellent. Breakfast excellent. Food on offer for evening meals quite indifferent: choices only fast food---lots of batter and beef , burgers full of ultra processed food!!! Drinks a rip off!
4.3
Super clean with comfortable bed and walk in shower. Staff was friendly, kind and efficient.
4.3
We really needed a decent sleep with our daughter arrived at 8pm, firstly the cot hadn’t been put up that we requested…. It wasn’t even in the room, though they did bring one straight up when asked. The annoying part was all night doors were slamming, this kept my daughter awake much of the night. We we were only here from 8pm to 7am and spent that time uncomfortable with doors banging.
4.3
Easy check in with friendly staff member. Room clean and comfortable. Kettle with tea & coffee in room. Bed pretty firm which we didnt mind. Son had sofa bed and slept great
4.3
Comfortable overnight stay. Very geared up for early departures on Channel tunnel shuttle and close to the tunnel itself.
We inadvertently left something in the room, rang from Germany the next day and arranged to pick the item up on our return. This was successful. Make sure you register your car at reception.
4.3
Small room and repairs required. Breakfast less than average. I thought it would be better than the Premier Inn or Travel Lodge, it was not. I will not stay again.
4.3
Very good place for overnight stay ver close if taking Tunnel. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant. Would use again.
4.3
A great place to stay for channel tunnel.
4.3
Excellent service and literally 10mins from the Eurotunnel.
4.3
Average and convenient
4.3
Stopped overnight with a group of friends before the Tunnel for a road trip. 👍
4.3
We stay here four times a year for Le Shuttle - it’s in a convenient location, the staff are helpful & welcoming. The bedrooms are adequate but bathrooms are small. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Free parking. The hotel has a really friendly atmosphere too.
