What a gem of a property! It is so quaint, that you feel first thrown back in time and -after mastering the steep slanted stairs- bathed in colors. The rooms are excentrically decorated, adding to the overall charm of this medieval house. It is also a restaurant, serves a lovely breakfast in the morning and once you step out of the courtyard you are in the center of Rouen.
Walking is easy to domes and cathedrals, the horloge and historial Jeanne d'Arc.
Shopping, bars and restaurants all around.
Parking is in a nearby parking garage for €12.-

A charming little hotel with a wonderful host!

We had a wonderful stay. Room is clean and spacious although no air conditioning room stays semi cool if you sleep with your window open. Location is fantastic and most restaurants stay open until 10 or 11 pm. Hotel has breakfast for about $11 however we did not indulge but it looked good. Host are kind and allowed us to keep our bags there during the day after our check out. Hotel also offers a discounted price for the under ground parking which is convenient if you have a car.

The host was not friendly.

Basic hotel very near the centre of the city and close to plenty of places to eat.
No frills but the room was fine and the breakfast was good. The only problem was spotting the small hotel sign as it is in a small courtyard just off the street.

This small hotel is in a good location in the historic part of old Rouen. We had a top floor room with a ton of stairs to access it. It was a very small room. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the fee for the breakfast was reasonable. There is an underground parking garage a block or so away which the hotel gives you a discounted rate to use in case you have a car to visit sites out of town such as Giverny or the Jumieges Abbey ruins.

Amazing location and service. Wonderful stay in a beautiful city.

Very central to Rouen cafe bar area. Parking very easy once you found the underground parking. Hotel has arrangement with local parking management so not full price. Breakfast good as usual french fayre. Hotel is quite homely and very warming host.

Warm, friendly and cozy. Benoit was a great host. There was some work behind done in the halls and stairs but overall a great location (easy walk from the train station) and reasonably priced in Rouen’s old town.

Lovely staff. Delicious petit dejeuner. Cute room. Central location for old Rouen.

I stayed here for one night and had an excellent reception, stay, and check out. I was very early arriving, but happily was allowed me to enter, leave my bags, and was given a list of touristy things to do until check in. Upon returning, I found that the room was very clean and comfortable. The building has a lot of charm and character, and is well placed in the old town center. I left too early to try the breakfast, but. Checkout was very straightforward.

A terrific place! I stayed here with my two teens. The breakfast was good. It’s quiet. Close to everything. Be sure to let them know when you are arriving so you know someone will be there to check you in. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and property. A jewel!

Picturesque and charming. It was a treat to stay in a beautiful old exposed-timber building. We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs up were narrow and uneven so it was tricky with luggage but it was worth it. I asked the owner a question about a bottle of wine I had bought and he lit up and was happy to discuss the merits of Bordeaux vs Bourgogne.

Very well-placed for the sights of the old town. Underground parking nearby and cost discounted by the hotel. Room fairly small and en-suite quite tight. Staff very welcoming and helpful

Difficult to access - take a taxi. Once you get there, it is a wonderful location and comes with a kitten to play with free of charge which we loved! Would certainly stay again!

Right in the heart of pedestrian old town historic area so you can walk to everything. You must park several blocks away in an underground lot. Restaurants close up very early. Wifi was non-existant. Room very small.

Perfect location with lovely view of the hotel courtyard out our bedroom window. The proprietor worked diligently daily to keep the grounds fresh and clean. Very invested in her home. Easy access to all we wanted to see in Rouen plus good locale for markets and shops. Lovely neighborhood.

An old building in town center provided good starting-point for visiting the prime attractions in Rouen: the Jeanne d’Arc exhibition and the cathedral. What tainted our stay in the hotel was the totally malfunctioning WiFi. A weak router at ground and no router or repeater on second floor made internet access in our room just impossible.
4.1
Located in old city area. Convenient walks to historical sites. Welcoming reception area/dining room/lounge. Better directions needed for parking as the hotel is located on a pedestrian street.

The hotel was on a fun little street. My room picked up sound from the kitchen and other rooms so sleeping was difficult

Room is small, but cozy. Breakfast is basic. WIFI did not work for me, which happened only once in ten years of staying at hostels and hotels. Parking is very hard to find there. Location is convenient.

Amazing location although we had to climb 132 stairs to our room. But it was worth it!
