Everything rated an OK with me , except the odd smell in the room.Staff were very nice , building was clean , wifi worked , and breakfast was ok.

Very small room but really comfortable king size bed. Mostly clean, but we slid the bed along so we could make better use of the full length mirror (the placing of which wasn't really thought through) and the floor underneath was pretty grubby. Great value especially including breakfast, although would have been nice if there'd been a choice of fruit rather than just bananas. Really friendly and helpful front of house staff

Perfectly located hotel at edge of Swindon shopping area a few minutes walk from the train and coach station. Nicely designed room (with plug sockets next to the bed and mirror!). And breakfast included for a great price.

Staff with little knowledge of the area. Not impressive breakfeast.

I made a request to have a good view from my room, however, the room was overlooking the roof of the Holiday Inn which is attached to this hotel. This made me upset.
The breakfast was plain and boring. There were hardly any good options except the basics. It was quite disappointing. I didn't even bother having any so I went into town instead to eat.
No table, only a chair in the corner was provided in the room. I had to make my bed as a desk.
The floor was not cleaned properly and there was dust and crumbs left over from previous stays.
I made this hotel as a base so I can venture out to do day trips. Don't make this hotel a place to stay for most of your trip. I recommend finding another hotel instead. But, if you are someone like me that just wanted a place to sleep for the night, then it's alright.
At least the stay was mostly quiet and having A/C was nice.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff. The room was quiet. Excellent hotel location. The only disadvantage is that the window was locked. The air conditioner was working fine, but it is not an ideal for ventilation.

GREAT BUDGET HOTEL CLOSE TO TRAIN STATION AND EASY AFFORABLE PARKING

Rather bare-bones accommodation as expected. Very nice bar and breakfast area, room was clean with decent compact bathroom. Let down by stained seat in room, which I didn’t want to go near. How the cleaners could let that go, I don’t know. Disappointed this cost me over one hundred pounds mid-week.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The room is cosy, not very big, but adequate for a nights rest. Nothing negative, but with it being town centre, the surrounding area is a bit hit and miss.

Staff at the breakfast was amazing and made me feel comfortable! Temperature was very good as I like little bit of cooler.

A clean and comfortable room. Lots of bars nearby. I was there on Monday so not too noisy. Staff very helpful. Carpark useful

Staff are absolutely amazing, Even off duty staff were accommodating chatting in the lobby advising good food options.
Amazing humour chatting away. Very welcoming won't stay anywhere else if I'm ever in Swindon.

The button to open the front door is in a very inconvenient place.

Very clean and simple room, staff were friendly and willing to help. Well worth the cost and a good location within Swindon, well within walking distance of the town centre and train station

The room was smaller than a bathroom, the floor was really sticky .. my shes stuck to the floor in places, the shower was no more than a trickle and no tea, coffee facilities. The toilet/shower room u couldnt swing a cat. The breakfast included was continental.. 2 x cheese 1 ham 2 x serial croissant white brown bread .. not worth the 280 quid they charged for 1 night .. i have stayed in hostels that were better.. and to top it off they wanted a further £10 to park
5.0
Very pleasant with a most acceptable room and friendly service. Only criticism would be some extra cleaning needed around shower cubicle and drain plug. Otherwise very good stay.

Parking difficult - wasted nearly an hour trying to pay for parking nearby on the utterly useless Apcoa app. That is not the fault of Ibis,.but nevertheless did not put me in a good mood!

Turned up to check in after a 12hr work shift for the reception staff to tell me that my booking had been cancelled. They explained that I should have received an email. No email received and all my bookings for the Ibis at Swindon are still live. I checked in next door at the Holiday Inn express, she explained that they were fully booked and there are plenty of hotels in Swindon.I asked to see the manager of the HI express and fortunately they managed to get me a room which I had to pay for again. This is a disgrace, what the hell is going on. I was told by the manager that the Ibis is fully booked for the next 6 months. I have two more further bookings. I expect you to find me alternative accommodation and I want to be fully compensated for my ordeal. What kind of show are you running.

I have booked a hotel stay for last Saturday 18/9-19/9 at Swindon Ibis budget, however when I arrived the hotel has a note on the door saying all bookings are moved to holiday inn next door, holiday inn told us ibis budget has turned into private use, and all bookings starting 13 sept 2021 to jan 2022 are cancelled. We have never received any information about the cancellation. And I have contacted the number and talked to the relocation team, spending 2 hours on the phone we couldn’t get a hotel room around the area and at the end we decided to go home. I’ve told the relocation team to cancel my booking but it is still not cancelled. Money was charged. I was told because I didn’t manage to check-in so they can’t cancel my booking. Most ridiculous thing I have heard of, lesson learnt, don’t book from a third party agent, always go direct! The manager from Holiday inn explained to me ibis should have notified hotels.com on the cancellation of the bookings and I have not received such information, we wasted our time, energy and We were charged.

our room was cancelled , absolutely outraged, we got there and was told Ibis had been brought aout and no longer existed .. we were told to go next door Holiday Inn ans we would be accommodated by them .They oconsequently had never heard of us .. We had no rooms ,as they coul not fit us in . we were a party of 4 ,of 2 rooms .and they tried other hotels but no luck , or we were going to pay extortionate prices , as there waS a boxing match event that night so demand was high . .We were told that your company should of let us know in advance . . we recieved this email on how was your checkin This totally ruined our visit to see son who we have not seen for z long time alltogether .. we went home

Ideal location for one nights stay. Basic room for a budget hotel. Would stay again as it is in the town centre with a Wetherspoons close by for a decent breakfast.

With all these 'standard' hotels you get what you pay for - a comfortable, clean bed and bathroom. No exceptions here. It was basic but did the job.
Check in was easy and we had to prefill in our order for breakfast. I ticked hot chocolate, muffin, yogurt and fruit, whilst my partner had coffee, muffin, yogurt, fruit & porridge. Come morning they said they don't do hot chocolate or porridge. Instead I get offered a juice. Fine, but why have it as a choice if you don't do it? Then out of nowhere they find some porridge...hmmm. No problem.
Back to our room...it was fine(ish). As I said standard bed, clean and comfortable a little on the small side but for one night it was O.K. I noticed in the bath room an empty soap packet in the sink thinking "not really clean properly here". Then I noticed something hanging from the smoke alarm. Just to make doubly sure of what I was seeing I put my glasses on. Yep, right the first time...there was a condom covering the smoke detector. My partner went to tell reception who immediately found us another room. Now before anyone gets grossed out I am sure if was done by the previous occupier so they could smoke without being detected. But it goes back to the empty soap packet...ATTENTION TO DETAIL PEOPLE.
Second room was exactly the same minus the empty soap packet and condom ;o). For our troubles we were given two free drinks at the bar. Which was just as well as they were expensive.
Would I stay here again...sure 7/10.

No breakfast that I ordered the day before, so went hungry, tv didn’t work in room, very disappointed should be compensated. For them not providing the tv, as stated on your website, and no breakfast that was in on my bill. Not happy
When I pay , I expect to get what is stated on website

The staff was friendly and the location good. The room didn't have any window and that was not good at all, especially during a pandemic. We didnt find this info on the website when we booked, I think it should be better indicated.
