Gastvrij. Prachtige pub. Heerlijk eten
Alles was prima

The self service continental breakfast was great .Easy to access, well planned and in a spacious very pleasant restaurant room.
If only more hotels were like this 🤗.
If you like country walking paths.......We found the start of one just few minutes from Their Carpark which we followed through a very pleasant wooded area and between well kept fields.eventually leading to the road back to Hotel .A very interestingly walk indeed.
We cannot think of any negatives.
Also we realised that a bus / stop going to Guildford was opposite the hotel .When we stay here again ,we plan to use a bus to visit Guildford.

pub inglese ristrutturato a nuovo. molto accogliente con ottimo ristorante e
parcheggio privato. Prima colazione buona e abbondante
unico peccato, la chiusura del servizio ristoramte domenica sera

Friendly staff, lovely clean room, comfortable bed
The restaurant and bar were shut for refurb, I wasn’t aware of that when I booked. Also the air con fan was on heavy all night, I couldn’t stop it or turn the fan down, clearly it could be user error.

Refurbished to a lovely standard in a lovely quiet village in Surrey
Shame the restaurant and bar wasn’t open as new management was waiting to be confirmed as there’s no other pub in walking distance but this will change. I prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning.

Please have dinner at Bulls Head.
Owner is a chef and the food was excellent
Room and bathroom great with lots of luxury touches

Location was fine , but didn't get to experience breakfast as the kitchen was closed.
Staff member we saw certainly did his best to help.
There was a lot of hair left in the bathroom which was a bit off putting.
My wife decided to wash her hair in the morning, in the impressive shower, only to find no hairdryer, and not a sole in the building to ask for one.
It was a pity about the closure of the kitchen although we get that that can happen.

Well furnished and comfortable

Lovely setting, comfortable room, really fab place to stay! And manager was just amazing - very hospitable to me when I needed help. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly!

This was a last minute booking but really good service and the rooms were a really joyful surprise - clean, modern fittings and quirky.
The beds were comfy, the water hot and the extras thoughtful and good quality.
The only downside was the green sensor lights in the room meant it never got truly dark.
4.5
Beautifully decorated, lovely bedroom with excellent facilities and fixtures. Very comfortable.
Unfortunately, due to lack of staff, only a continental breakfast could be offered, which was self service in the mornings. No staff on site. Good selection of items available, but not all had been refreshed or restocked for the second morning. This is the only criticism; otherwise a super place to stay.
4.5
Nice bar, decent room and bathroom, clean and functional. Basic breakfast which should be better that price.
Disappointing breakfast

New renovation with a relaxed atmosphere, super clean and comfy rooms, with a great pub downstairs.
The kitchen closed early, so I missed dinner.

Good reception on arrival and super showers. The bed was very comfy as well.
The staff on sunday morning were a bit miserable, it really won't hurt to smile a little bit.
No dairy alternatives in either the room (for coffee/tea) or for breakfast in the morning. A really simple point to improve on.

The staff were kind, welcoming and accommodating. We could wang on about how clean and modern the pub toilets are, or the quirky book collection sitting on the pub window sills, or the amstrad vinyl player lurking in the background. But it's the food that deserves a standing ovation. The chef and his team work from a reassuringly small menu and deliver exquisite dishes that manage to be at once familiar but also punctuated with incredibly tasty touches. We'll fondly remember the home made biscuits served with our mousse, or the glazed beetroot on our salmon and risotto. We'd come back just for his menu (and the 90's tracks seeping out the kitchen).
The carpet in our room is clearly new but is aging fast given there's nowhere to park muddy walking shoes.

Countryside location - could be a useful stop off en route to Gatwick Airport.
Air conditioned room with great shower.
The bar/restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious and well presented.
Nothing.

Location excellent . Arrived late for check in but staff patient, friendly and helpful .
Bar/ dining area beautiful, newly decorated , bright and fresh . Had a couple of drinks , felt at home and relaxed .
Our room was clean and freshly decorated, with a new en-suite wet room . All clean , crisp white towels, nice large bath towels ❤️
Tea n coffee facilities, bottled water , chocolate and a Nespresso machine.
Great nights sleep.
Will definitely stay again when in the area .

The newly refurbished room was very well thought out. Great bathroom, lots of plugs in the right places which is rare. Very comfortable bed.
The menu was not very exciting.
4.5
The room was modern and very comfortable. We loved the free curly wurlies in the tea station! Bed was really comfy, amazing shower, all amenities good and clean. Breakfast was nice - fresh fruit and lots of elements but no cooked breakfast included. Lovely staff - helpful and honest.
Unfortunately, a drunken guest disturbed our night, which was not the fault of the hotel. A spare key card is available should you lock yourself out of your room and this worried us from a security perspective as it means all rooms are accessible to anyone at any time. There was a fault with the strip lighting in the bathroom, which stayed on all night unless you took the key card out, but then there was no aircon. Not a big deal for us, just a bit annoying. Apparently management are aware and it is to be fixed.

Friendly team members and lovely decor
Kitchen had closed when I arrived at 9.30pm and the nearest place serving food was 15minute drive away which after a 5hour drive was more of a tiring thought.
Found the bathroom to be quite unclean. A lot of areas that needed some additional attention.

Excellent communication from Phil
4.5
New clean rooms, good helpful pleasant staff, good beer, decent wine selection
The food was all awful which was a shame as everything else was fine. Maybe the chef had a day off and the cleaner took over? Or they had a bad day
4.5
Excellent value for money. Beautiful, clean, comfy hotel with very nice friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.
Menu choices were quite limited but wished we'd eaten here after a pizza disaster!
4.5
no cooked breakfast, continental breakfast was toast, yogurt ham and cheese, no cereals, only orange juice...limited evening option in pub due to quiz
4.5
Lovely smartly decorated room, deep carpet and comfortable bed.
Great welcome and early check in for a wedding was accommodated.
Plenty of carparking.
Beautiful location in the heart of Ewhurst on the edge of the Surrey Hills AONB.
We would absolutely stay or visit again.
Room 4 - water stain on the ceiling looks like the shower from the upstairs bedroom.
Breakfast, continental, wasn't very good, orange squash not juice, instant coffee with 4 pod coffee machines piled up in the corner, fruit that had seen better days and badly laid out.
4.5
Friendliness, very welcoming all round.
Would like to be able to open a window for fresh air.
4.5
Comfy Room with good amenities
Check in isn’t 24 hours so lots of texting about arrival time.
4.5
Very clean and comfortable.
There was no mirror in the bedroom but a plug socket had been placed really near the ensuite so you could dry your hair using the bathroom mirror. Nice touch so often overlooked.
Missed not seeing anyone at breakfast this morning

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable, but we were a little disappointed by the food available. When we first stayed at the Bulls Head, just before Christmas we were told that they were short staffed due to illness, and that the menu and service would improve. Unfortunately it didn't.
The menu for dinner is still rather limited, although it was well cooked and presented. The breakfast was limited to self-service cold buffet, due, apparently, to it being Mothering Sunday. This was not what we had expected and would have appreciated an alert in advance.

Everything from the check in Phil, Kindle and Charlie the chef are all an amazing team.
Everything was so professionally run, the atmosphere was so good it was difficult to go out!
And the food was absolutely fantastic with amazing fresh local produce highlighted.
The real kick was Charlie's sticky toffee pudding, made from his grandma's recipe
Without doubt we will go back soon, the whole place has not long been fully refurbished, it's amazing!
There was nothing I didn't like
