Perfect for what we needed as a group of friends looking for a a reasonable place to stay for a festival.
Breakfasts are excellent!
Rooms are small and rather shabby, but clean. Wedding party on the Saturday night were loud and rather obnoxious, and it meant we couldn't use the bar.

The staff were professional and cheerful
The hotel is a two storied building but did not have a lift to the second floor forcing me to climb two flights of stairs to my room on the second floor which was challenging for me as I have mobility issues.

Everything we needed for the occasion, great room, friendly staff, nice breakfast
Not a huge deal but the bar wasn’t always manned.
Not a massive criticism, but maybe it would be good to make it clear to guests staying at the hotel when the bar will be available for service as we thought it was open from 11am. We waited from 11am to 11:45am for a drink on Sunday morning and absolutely nobody was around except for reception staff. We weren’t too bothered about it, and I guess we could’ve walked to the reception area to ask for service, but other guests might be more annoyed about having to chase down service. Perhaps if there was a function going on at the time to explain the absence of service at the bar, a sign at the bar might help guests have clarity on this.

Good location for Pride Park. Lovely building. Nice breakfast.
Bed a bit hard.

Room was ok although bed a little on small side and no bedside table so had to use chair as a table as I had a breathing machine to use at night, breakfast food and bar great and friendly staff. A little noisey in the Saturday as someone attending the tribute act got drunk and think the police were called but otherwise a pleasant hotel which we will stay at again

Clean room, good food, good service from staff, lots of parking
Rooms are slightly dated, but are clean and of avoid size, so only a minor observation.

Location and reception staff
Room was noisy due to pipe work creating constant sound

It was a nice cheap hotel and exactly what we were looking for, clean rooms and decent beds.
Its looking a bit dated however, this is reflected in the price you pay.

Friendly staff on check-in.
Room was on small side and basic, but clean.
Did us fine for a short 1 night stopover - and met my expectations from the low price.
Plenty of free on site parking and walking distance to the station (about 20 mins) where we were getting a shuttle service from.
Décor was rather dated, could do with modernising and freshening up.
Bathroom reminded me of the loos at my high school - again very basic and dated.
View from the window was a bit grim.

The rooms are really nice and the beds comfy. Food is excellent, I've liked every meal I've had here. I get treated like family as all the staff are so friendly and efficient. Anything they can do to help, they will be there for me. I am genuinely sorry to leave. I really do recommend this as a good base to stay for anyone visiting Derby and Derbyshire
Nothing I didn't like, I love staying here.

Was all love, funny thing was we booked a single room for my mum and she couldnt find the kettle and come round to mine and my daughter room for tea . 😂 Overall we had a great time and you accommodated us on a clean room on arrival, so we had somewhere to get changed. 100% pleased. Breakfast was lovely. 😁
A reminder of parking on arrival, signing in .

8.0 / 10.0
breakfast was fab , great choice of different foods ,and no sense of being rushed
the bed in room would have been better away from the wall as it made it awkward to get in and out of it having to sleep against the wall , also the bedside lamp wasn't plugged in and we couldn't find a plug for this
