the facility is good I always try to stay on business, however this time the heating in my room was stuck on so found it difficult to sleep in the temperature.

The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay the only complaint I can say is the delivery truck delivering to the restaurant at 7.15 in the morning waking me and my children up on Saturday morning

Friendly staff in reception and restaurant, amazing facilities clean and little things that are considered eg bag for wet swimwear in pool. Only complaint is the electrical equipment in room is out of date for PAT testing( I'm a health and safety officer so notice these things) and the food in restaurant, mainly breakfast could be improved as it was cold... Might be better to let guests order as they come in than the buffer style

Lovely place. Clean and comfortable, nice restaurant and bar, staff very pleasant which makes a change these days. Liked being able to eat putside too in pleasant surroundings. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel facilities and rooms were pretty good, in general it's clean, tidy and uncluttered. I think place offers a good price / quality balance. The food in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss, the team is not used to dealing with large groups as the wait for our food was borderline unacceptable. The main disappointment was they didn't really try to get the kids food before the adults so we had two impatient kids getting bored for a hour before they could eat anything. Last but not least I found really annoying that the guy in charge of the pool area decided to hose down the pool floor whilst we were swimming with the kids and then he used the emergency door labeled as "emergency door, do not open", as his shortcut, leaving it propes open whislt the pool was full of guests, that's clearly not how you operate a pool area that's in use.

Stayed in family room and it was unbelievably hot in the room the entire stay. Window was open all night and was still so hot, very uncomfortable. When mentioned in the morning the reception staff responded with "ah, yeah, they are like that" Dirty sock left in the room under the bed. TV remote was unusable. Half the buttons didn't work including channel up.

I’ve stayed here more than one. Last time had to go down the road to the petrol station becythe foid had already stopped. This time mistakenly booked breakfast. Day 1 needed to got out early. But even though one of the first in at a late 7:30 I still couldn’t get a breakfast. Day 2. Although arriving at the very early 9:30 cut off it turns out you’d need to be there a long time prior as there was nothing left and staff unwilling to replace it.

The room was clean but underwhelming for the price, the pull out bed for my son looked uneven and he said it wasn’t very comfortable at all, bathroom was clean although I was a little tall for the shower! We stayed two nights and no one came and made the beds, took the rubbish or replenished the coffees/waters for the second night which considering the price isn’t good enough.

My friend who was meant to arrive from the United States was in an accident. I waited 6 hours ever airport for her. She didn't arrive. I then got a phone call as soon as I got the phone call. I called the hotel to cancel the booking, but because of your stupid. No fees that I have lost all the money I spent. And she is in hospital with broken arm. IM very unhappy. Play, sometimes it's easy to write a letter.

We found that the room/bed was small, everything needs up dating. Some dinning room areas needs a deep clean. Breakfast was basic, would have eaten somewhere else if there was somewhere local on the 2nd morning. Just not a welcoming place.

The hotel is impressive from the outside and looks quite upmarket. Inside is reasonably clean and tidy. The carpets are a bit tired in the rooms and hallways and the room had hairs on the headboards. The rooms was extremely warm and a 4 inch opening window did nothing to alleviate a very warm room.

The place was nice, but very hot, wish we knew we could have had brunch outside because the bar was too warm. the rooms were very hot, we were given fans, but it made very little difference. Bar area in the evening was very warm. Spa was great, food and service was good.

The hotel has some really good things and some not so, the room was a good size, loads of plugs and USB ports in the bedroom and beside the bed, bed was comfortable, there was a nespresso coffee machine in the room, we didnt have a very good view and the glass in the window had blown, I wish hotels either did baths or did showers but not try and do both cos they never get them right, to high to step into the bath to have a shower and I'm not tall but my head was about 2inches away from the shower head, there was hair in the plug hole too, the towels were a bit small and a little thin and no heated towel rail, breakfast could have been hotter, but there was a good selection. The staff were pleasant but I think they were all rushed as didn't have the time to be friendly, and that makes a difference, quite nicely decorated inside but with a building like this they could so much more. for a one night stay it was ok I wouldn't want to pay more than I did though

A great hotel choice outside of the Ikea charge zone. The reception area, dining area and rooms were all lovely and well presented. Lots of food options (restaurant, bar, room service) at varying prices. Was on the more dear side but Aldershot is close by if you wanted something different. We enjoyed the use of the health facilities and the pool which the children really liked having as a feature of the hotel. Breakfast had a good standard buffet style choice.

Overall was good. Just it could be better to check cleaning on sofa's and bed. There were stains on the sofa that had not been removed. It can be easily cleaned by sofa or carpet cleaner. Also On the Sidewall of the bed there were traces of dirt, something like a stretch with the bottom of a shoe or a suitcase, which had not been cleaned. Paper tissue on bed sides had been finished. Some insects were visible on the wall and curtain. In reception desk, officers should be always present also in restaurant check-in for breakfast. All of them were not main problems but need to be managed and check by More carefully and responsibility by staffs. All in all I recommend there and I will go there again.

My first time in giving the HOGS BACK A BAD REVIEW 4 sockets in my room not repaired during my stay (223) Vents in the Spa area changing room (M) dirty Young staff on booking in (spa/gym/pool) lazy re needs to be looking and training given Spa area below standard NO Phone in the room if you have an Emergency and you have a discharged Mobile or no mobile how do you call for HELP

It is a beautiful building and with comfortable bed and spacious room. However, the whole building was so worn we were literally had the windows opened. I am not e why it was so hot in the whole premises.

Room was really good . Bed & linen very comfy. Food was excellent in restaurant at both evening meal & breakfast Sadly no draft as prob but was not hotels fault . Would recommend The Hogs Back particularly close po stay if you are visiting for Pirbright /Camberley Army Training camps etc.
