We visited only for one night but we were warm and comfortable in a very clean twin room. Nothing fancy about it, just good value for money. We did not visit the restaurant but were told the breakfast was £12/head which sounded reasonable. There is a £7 charge for car-parking which we were not aware of before arriving so we asked staff to make this information more visible when booking.

The stay was ok ..byt not enough blanket in room...shouldnhave mofe choice of teas in the room ..behind the tv was FULL OF DUST SO you can just imagine how much crap you are inhalering ... i pay £54 for one night but needed a extra night day after which cost £74 ..woukd i pay that again ? No

Decided to try this place for once as usually opt for another chain of hotels when staying in the area. I genuinly preferred this place its conveniently placed for accessing west brom shops and plently of eateries in the area. What made me choose this place was that it had a bar/restaurant, pool and gym. Plenty of free parking. The staff are friendly, although it did take us a little time to get their attention on arrivel to check in. My only gripe was with the eating there. I had to order a kids meal for my daughter which came with a main (burger) and desert (brownie) It seemed to take way to long for the burger to turn up. No one came back to clear the plate or ask if everything was ok with the food. I took the plate to the bar and asked that they get the desert. Nothing appeared, i went back to the bar and the member of staff appologised because they'd forgotten to tell the kitchen. The fact there was like 5 people in the bar max during this period and no ones on top of this probably says a lot. I would stay again, IF i ever used the kitchen again, id be making sure to prompt them regularly, but theirs plenty of eating out options. We did the Vine and the food was great

Reception tried charging me overnight parking which I successfully challenged as there was no mention when I booked. On route to the room I found dirty corridors and stained carpets. Outside one room was a pile of muck that was apparently caused by the builders, yet I didn’t see any ‘men at work’ signage on the route to my room, nor did reception advise. I stay a lot with work and have a high tolerance for average hotels / standards. I’ll never stay here again. I emailed the hotel manager overnight and haven’t had a response.

Was a last min booking was all good until the morning when I had no hot water at all and I mean no water. Couldn’t shower or wash and was not even offered another room to as least shower. Maintenance never turned up

There were several events on at the hotel when we checked in, so a bit of a queue. Check-in seemed smooth, including paying for parking for 2 nights, but when the desk staff entered "parking for 1 night" I double checked and was met with scorn. The stay was fine. I received a parking fine because I wasn't registered for the second night, despite attempts to prevent the issue. Location and price makes this one of only a few options, but I will be very wary in future.

The spa 'experience' was below average, fitness facilities (sauna, steam room, pool, changing rooms) were barely functional and I did not feel particularly 'privileged' to have paid for a room upgrade. If you want an expensive bar, an average restaurant, poor breakfast and a bed...... go for it.

Massive carpark and its free be sure to enter your registration plate at reception Quick check-in all info given even a letter with it on. Lift to all floors My room was very compact size just big enough for one i guess. Bed was super comfortable WiFi was good Shower hot and powerful Breakfast not included but could add on if wanted Evening meal was good Simple menu but excellent value . Free use of the leisure facilities Location is on a house estate close to the motorway jct. Close to a beautiful country park. Would stay again if in the area

Average hotel stay for two nights, whilst facilities look reasonable, update and reconditioning would be highly recommended. Helpful and polite staff. Clean and tidy room although located at very rear of hotel and quite a distance from reception up stairs then down in lift, a little complicated.

The room was a nice size and had contemporary decor. However the basin in the bathroom, looked unclean, looking closer, it was cracked and chipped. The occasional chair in the room broke when I sat on it. I spoke to reception about this and said i was dissatisfied with this. They didnt seem very helpful and I was told that I would need to email a manager a day after I we will have left. I am waiting to do this. I feel all hotels should be their best and there is no excuse for substandard furniture and furnishings. Staff in the bar and dining area were very pleasant and breakfast was good with lots of choice

The first room I was in had stains on the carpet bed sheets had stains I will provide images for this. It also had a blocked sink. It had a strange smell. There were constant banging noises early morning and the disruption was terrible. Then I got moved to a different room which was bigger but the quality again was appalling. The bathtub had hair on it and marks and the door didn’t have a cover on the peep hole which is a huge invasion of privacy. There was dusty flying around the room too. And as an asthmatic person this is severely dangerous! It was very poor cleanliness and I was very disappointed considering the 3 nights I stayed and the price I payed.

Bed room lacked adequate lighting to put on makeup. The shower temperature would randomly switch from scalding hot to freezing cold in seconds continuously, which made having a show almost impossible! The loo roll kept falling off its holder. Finally throughout the night where was this random buzzing sound like a mobile phone on vibrate all night long.
