The owners are two fantastic guys, very friendly and you feel very welcome.
It's not on a walking distance to the town centre.

On the bonus question re: the room size, I gave it top marks, because although it was the smaller of the two rooms. It was more than adequate for a single person.
On the bonus question about the bed. I suffer with a spinal injury and so in most places I stay, I just have to put up with increased pain. Though the bed was exceptional. Very comfortable and like a home away from home.
My hosts made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was offered help with my luggage to and from the car and up and down from the room. They were most engaging and were happy to chat about a wide range of subjects. Regarding the talking, whilst I am only fluent in English, they are multilingual, in at least three languages, including Polish and Brazilian.
My hosts went out and bought doughnuts for themselves, though kindly offered to share them with me, along with tea, coffee, fruit juice and if I wanted, something stronger.
There was fruit, bread, biscuits, bottled water etc., constantly available for guests. Whilst talking about food. The breakfast selection was extensive, continental, cooked, bread, which could be toasted or possibly fried, with a wide selection of spreads and toppings, plus there were various cereals.
The house has a beautiful and private rear garden, with lovely flowers, an 'almost manicured' lawn (better than some putting greens) with several outdoor sitting areas, including a small fish pond in a rockery. Plus there is also a conservatory, which has comfortable seating, that one can easily nod off in, which I did. All areas being tranquil and tastefully created with much thought. Where one can relax and forget the hustle and bustle, of the outside world.
At night there is illumination / careful detailing from some elegant fairy flights. That produce a constant light, i.e. no crazy flashing. So day or night in the garden, along with the conservatory and living areas of the house, they are all very special places to be.
The fact that I had only booked in for one night.
Whilst the place is called Park House, I would actually rename it*. The name I will put in the box below, as it should not be associated with things I didn't like.

Everything was fantastic, perfect location for my trip, felt safe and secure, comfy bed, great shower, exceptional value, and most of all -absolutely wonderful amazing hosts who made me feel very welcome and relaxed - couldn't have been any better.
