The outside of the cabin made a poor first impression. In fact, we drove past it several times before we realized this was our rental for the week. The yard was weedy and unkempt and it made the property look abandoned. We could not get the front door open and had to call the property manager several times. We finally got in, but then couldn't lock the door. The property manager eventually figured out the batteries in the door lock had to be replaced. Once that was done, the door worked. Inside were pluses and minuses. It was clean; the beds were comfortable; and the kitchen was well-furnished for our needs. Because it had two bedrooms, we had plenty of space for our suitcases and clothes. As we became used to the cabin, we loved its' central location in Woodland Park. Debby at the Chamber of Commerce was friendly and helpful. The street to the cabin was blocked because of road work and she was able to show us how to get around the detour and get to the cabin. Deer ranged freely in the streets and yards, with fawns and does regularly passing by. The bucks were more scarce, but in evidence as well. The one bathroom had a high-sided, old-fashioned tub without any skid-mat in the bottom. We put a hand towel down to keep it from being slippery. The hot tub had leaking issues, so it was the end of the week before we were able to take advantage of it. Despite early problems, we enjoyed our week and the cabin was sufficient for our needs. We would visit again.

Adorable "little cabin" with gorgeous views of Pike's Peak, wild life and beautiful evergreens! Perfect location (about 30 min) from our planned adventures including: Manitou Incline, Barr Trail hike to Barr camp, drive up to Pikes Peak, hike at Seven Falls and Garden of the God! The beds and 4 pillows per bed were FABULOUS (and I am very picky about beds and pillows). The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked 2 of the 3 nights. A grill was provided but we did not use it. We loved the hot tub--we used it at night and early morning. We did have an issue (day 2 half of the hot tub water was gone)..I called the number and the tub was full and hot when we returned from our hike. Very nice to have a washer and dryer. I will say one negative...I wish there had been a notice not to use the shower while using the washer. I got a pretty bad burn on my back from the water. My daughter and I loved this house and the great time we spent here!! Thank you!!

Brought my boyfriend for a 1 day 2 night stay. Beautiful towns and great views, the tub was a little bit small but other than that it was a great place for a few days!!

My Little Cabin was a great getaway for us! It’s location is close to many incredible outdoor adventures. The view from the large bedroom looks towards Pikes Peak & is stunning. We adored our daily visits from the local wildlife - deer roam the neighborhood! The place is a good size & well stocked with bedding & towels. The beds are comfy! There aren’t drawers for your clothes but closets with hangers which worked out fine. Super nice to have a washer/dryer & even a tiny dishwasher in the kitchen. If you really enjoy cooking plan on bringing a few tools - we bought a slotted spoon & ladle for the kitchen to donate to the cabin but I was very thankful that I’d brought my nice camp knife from home. There are cutting boards, a skillet, and a smallish pot maybe 4 quarts. All the basics are covered: silverware, coffee mugs, plates, bowls, cups etc. My Little Cabin has both a wood burning stove & central heat. They both do a wonderful job of keeping the place warm. My Little Cabin has a really nice size yard & we were excited to bring our dog so she could experience Colorado at Christmastime. My only hesitation to returning to this cabin would be the neighbor whose home looks into the backyard of the cabin. The neighbors are standoffish & rude. If you bring your dog they will call & complain at the slightest bark from your dog. The management company was really sweet & understanding so absolutely no complaints there. In fact, the communication was 100% incredible. Heather & I texted before & during our trip regularly. She & her team truly went above & beyond to make us feel welcome!

I genuinely enjoyed every second in the cabin. I was on vacation with my boyfriend and we were so impressed at how cozy, inviting, and simple the cabin was. Everything we had on our list for a cabin trip was checked off by staying here. I will definitely be back! The host was very inviting, attentive and available. I truly loved my experience! Thank you so much!!!
