Town: Wirksworth is a small, charming market town situated just a few miles from Matlock, on the edge of The Peak District. The town is full of character with many buildings of architectural interest, including its magnificent parish church of St Mary’s. The weekly Tuesday market and monthly farmers' market (first Saturday of the month) provide local produce, coffee and crafts. Rock climbing and cycling can be enjoyed here at every level, and there is fantastic walking all around.
