Breakfast ,friendly staff were happy to help with anything you need
Property although lovely is in need of repairs and updating.
I believe the new owners have only been there a couple of months so I wished them good luck.

It was quirky and very good value for money. A large room (room 7) with good TV, free WiFi and the bonus of a fridge. The bathroom was also large with a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Breakfast (chosen the previous night) was very good - plentiful and nicely cooked.
There appeared to be a bar available but we didn’t try this.
Slight noise from the busy road as there was not double glazing being an old building.

lovely clean room, comfy beds , excellent bathroom
Delicious breakfast
Not warm welcome and hard to find hosts. The young man who greeted us very uncommunicative.

The breakfast was delicious and very generous. Staff were friendly. The location was close to where I needed to be for my stay. I loved the Pendon Museum nearby which had a permanent miniature railway exhibition and was superb.
My room felt a little cold and the bedding slightly damp and chilly on the first night I stayed there, as if the heating had been off for a while in the room.

Wonderful and full of character house. The building itself is very old but the rooms are all updated with the modern comfort. The owners are very nice and serve a very good breakfast. The breakfast room is an amazing place. 10min drive from Oxford.

Lovely, spacious room and extremely clean. Very good breakfast, though next time I'd ask for a smaller one! Great WiFi coverage.
My only slight negative, as a woman traveling alone, I'd prefer a more secure style of door to make me feel safer.
A little pricier than other local accommodation but it is good.

Beautiful quiet village, lovely old Inn, now just doing B&B, I believe.
Really nice breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.

Wonderful hosts who helped us get back to Oxford despite the train strike - thanks a lot! Super comfy room and a great breakfast too.

Great location, the bedrooms were really lovely, the family room had an impressive huge television and my double room a four poster bed, the beds were comfortable, delicious full english breakfast.
Both rooms had a fridge which was extremely noisy, it took me a while to pin down where the noise was coming from in the night, I eventually pulled the plug, unfortunately my daughters in the family room didn't realise it was the fridge making the noise and didn't have a good night's sleep.

The room was perfectly adequate, but the breakfasts were exceptional! Beautifully cooked, quickly served and nothing too much trouble. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

We were warmly welcomed, the proprietor was friendly, helpful and informative, and very well organised. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was very nice and spacious, lovely en-suite shower, lovey bedding and towels, the only thing to improve was the cleaning - a bit dusty and could have been cleaner around the base of the taps.

The outside room i stayed in was nothing short of GORGEOUS. Very comfortable bed , modern bathroom, smart TV and best of all...QUIET even though there were plenty of other guests you are not on top of each other . I loved it here. The breakfast also is sensational. And plenty of car parking too.
I forgot to ask for the code for the internet connection but that was my fault

We were not told about the height restriction or the steep stairs in our room or the on going building work that started at 8.00 am.
Breakfast was very good but would've been nice to have a cup of tea as we sat down for breakfast as we had to wait about 20 minutes for the te to arrive with our cooked meal.

The location is strategic for people walking
the Thames Path. The breakfast was delicious. The host was welcoming , friendly and helpful. We asked for more toast and drinks and we were served promptly with kindness. I highly recommend it. Clean with good facilities.
