Very nice room, dinner was good and there was plenty of onsite parking.
Breakfast was average, orange juice was diluting style juice, tea / coffee from a vending machine. Staff didn't seem that interested.

Great breakfast, and well located close to Oxford
Bathroom slightly basic. A night is always helpful!

Staff did not seem to be professionally trained. Very casual and not particularly welcoming.

Shower didn’t work
Room dusty
Some items not available at breakfast

Virtually everything! Hotel, staff, room, bathroom, restaurant, breakfast, bar
Very small things - no ironing board in room. Could only be sorted from 0800 the next day. Annoying as we already had an early start planned.
Rainfall shower - why are hotels obsessed with these atm?
Nightmare if you don’t want to get your hair wet or your style ruined with a bath cap! Bring back showers with option to hold head! 🙏

The checkin was later than we would have liked

I was with a groupo of friends cycling the Ridgeway Pathand we stayed overnight. Evening meal was good and so was breakfast. The hotel had a place to store our bikes indoors which was good. Beds were comfortable.
Walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear the people in the next room talking, but it didn't really cause us any trouble.

Spacious room
Over priced. Dated interior

good breakfast, freshly cooked

Clean, well set out place with good access to the surrounding area , food very good.
Bar closed at 11pm, we was refused drinks after this time, pretty much unheard-of for paying guests of a hotel ! Night staff manager was very rude and had no customer service skills at all, a number of hotel guests commented on her lack of friendliness and how it seemed to be an inconvenience having us in the bar area. If I was staying in the area again, I would book somewhere else with hotel hours for residents.

Lovely hotel in beautiful and peaceful location. All staff were extremely accommodating and very pleasant to deal with.
Nothing negative at all. Thank you

Staff were great, food and bar was excellent. There is a modernization program ongoing...because it definitely needs it.
The Rooms are very "old" and require a lot of modernization. Carpets were threadbare in places, the net curtain was too small for the window and the curtains were ancient. No safe, no air conditioning and a bathroom, whilst clean, had seen better days. Lastly the floors were so noisy and creaky in the upstairs rooms and corridors.

The staff were incredible. We checked in and out very late, they were so very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was delicious, and the kitchen staff even boiled some carrots and egg for my 6 month old ( as mummy forgot his lunch!) Small kindnesses make such a difference! Will definitely be back

good sized room and en-suite. Comfy bed and good pillows. lovely breakfast. facilities in room very good, full length mirror , fan, safe and fridge.
Cleanliness of en-suite could be better,

Charming, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Easy access to room. Plenty of hot water
Terrible, knobbly "rubber" pillows ! Stained carpet in the room. Only one bath towel provided on the second day.
No tissues. No notepad/pencil by the bed.
3.9
The location, the cleanliness. Rooms nice and bed comfortable.
The service in the restaurant was very poor and disappointing as on previous occasions it had been very good. The breakfast was poor, orange juice watered down, cooked breakfast items cold. Not replenished in time either.
