A lovely, idyllic and tranquil place, a real hidden gem!
We usually stay in hotels, but this B&B could be ranked between the 5 stars!
Sitting on our balcony overlooking the gardens gave us the feeling of being home away from home.
Our hostess made us feel so welcome, a lovely lady!
My wife forgot her favourite raincoat and the lady shipped it over for us to Holland.
Service with a smile from an unforgettable place!
Nothing could have been better.

This is an amazing couple in a beautiful house we had a very warming welcome as we arrived the owners have some brilliant history to be told the house is very clean and modern the beds very comfortable room was very tidy we would recommend too everyone a must stay place in a quiet area no busy roads to keep you awake .
The only criticism I could give and this is my honest opinion the water pressure could be a lot stronger as there wasn’t much coming out of the shower other than this all was fantastic.

A very interesting modern house with light, spacious rooms. A large, private roof terrace giving views over the garden and countryside made the bedroom a particularly pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was outstanding with top quality ingredients cooked to a high standard.
Our hostess Shirley was friendly and charming. She created a warm, welcoming atmosphere which made it very easy to feel 'at home'.
The house is located in a quiet village with easy access to many local and regional places of interest.
For myself there was nothing to improve but for some the plunge bath (and therefore the shower) in the Moroccan room would be a significant challenge. Perhaps a clear note on the booking site would be helpful (or did I miss it😁).

Very different and modern. Spacious and airy.
The room we booked was too small, but fortunately we paid for a vacant full sized room. Had to drive to Wallingford for evening meal.

Driving into the house is an amazing view... then while inside the house... the view to the garden is sheer bliss....Deco was unique so is the house too.... You might find some one or two history about the host too, very genuine, engaging and absolutely nice
Missing out on the balcony room.... overlooking the field.... that's my next target.... there is nothing to dislike as for me

We loved the environment, the room was lovely, terrace was amazing and we had lovely weather
Unfortunately the water pressure for the bath wasn’t so good and it took 45 min to an hour to fill the bath and by that point the water was warm… so this was disappointing…
Then in the morning when others had gone down for breakfast and there was conversations we were woken on both mornings..

Shirley was an excellent host who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was incredible, with a terrace perfect for enjoying the sun. Located in a beautiful village with lots to do in the area, and space to relax, this was the perfect getaway to reset and celebrate a birthday. The breakfast was delicious and we were both delighted with the stay. Hoping to come back again!

Amazing B&B with lovely hosts.

The house itself is stunning. As soon as you walk through the door I think I just relaxed! What a wonderful find I’ll definitely be back.

The property is stunning and the rooms are very comfortable and accommodating
We loved our terrace and the bath was outstanding

Excellent breakfast and accommodation. The Host was very friendly and welcoming, well organised and more than willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house was beautiful, easy to locate with secure ample parking.
Just a minor suggestion that perhaps, two chairs could be placed on the balcony as we were fortunate enough to have very warm weather.
4.8
We had a lovely room with a balcony and view of the gardens.
4.8
Excellent in every way from the accommodation and breakfast itself to parking and hospitality of owners. Breakfast is prepared and served (either continental or Full English or a bit of both) in the large kitchen / diner as we sat at the large table.
We chose a balcony room which was an additional luxury because it was a warm day.
There is nothing we did not like. If I had to name one thing it would be that it was a pity there were no other guests.

property was lovely and so were the owners! great trip and would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to family and friends.
when returning to the property at night it was difficult to know where to turn as the village is very dark and poorly lit and so is the driveway, not really a massive issue but the only problem we found!

Large modern property with airy light rooms. Great location in picturesque quintessential English village. Excellent service and breakfast. There’s also a unique and special fact about the property ownership which you notice immediately.
I couldn’t get the electric blinds in the room to properly shut. Fortunately I travel everywhere with eye pads to shut out light whilst sleeping.

Lovely room, beautiful terrace overlooking a stunning garden. Lovely, welcoming host. Very clean. Comfy bed. Nice breakfast.
The water was lukewarm making it impossible to have a nice bath in the plunge pool - which was the whole reason we’d booked this b&b. It also took ages to fill up. The heater was very noisy too so we had to turn it off even though the room was cold. We’d booked for an anniversary, paying more than we’d usually spend because we wanted luxury and to enjoy the plunge pool, but it didn’t feel like good value for money.

Lovely room, fabulous bath and great terrace space. Really enjoyed my stay and felt luxurious.

Bed was very comfortable, owners were lovely and was able to park on the drive.

Very brief stay, late arrival early start but all went smoothly
4.8
Clean modern bedroom with large windows and high quality furnishings. Exquisite host and delicious home cooked breakfast.

The landlady was easy to talk to and was friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was what I had expected with everything cooked just to my liking.
The room was clean & tidy.
Balcony not used as raining.
I do like cups of tea in the evenings but no milk cartons were provided, just the tea bags and coffee sachets.
I put that down to me as I didn't mention it to the Landlady.
At least the TV set worked unlike at other B&B's

Lovely accommodation. Super fresh home cooked breakfast. Located in an area that's easy to travel to Oxford, Henley on Thames, and local pubs. Shirley is a lovely host and made us feel welcome in her home. She did over and above to make our stay pleasant and comfortable during the recent heatwave. Thank you.

Excellent Personal Service, Bedroom, Terrace & Bathroom were Exquisite.
The flies present in the room, having to use fly spray was bad for respiratory in the night
4.8
A wonderful modern home which was an ideal location for our overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Shirley, our host, was very friendly and if like me, of a certain age, would be extremely interested in the story of the owner of this home.

Friendly welcome. Helpful and attentive, personable service.
Contemporary, light and airy super clean property. No pets! 👍🏻
Delicious fresh choice of breakfast, nothing was too much trouble,
Would highly recommend.
