Beautiful cottage, lovely interior, small but complete kitchen, and a very warm welcome by the owner

Only stayed two nights as in the area for an event but the property and village were lovely. Didn’t expect to need to use the log burner in July but that’s the British summer for you and it was such a fab addition!

The property is attached to the owners place Pete and Rachel, with plenty of room for parking. We met Pete on arrival and he gave us a useful low down on the facilities and places to visit whilst on our stay. The property is well equipped and tastefully furnished. All in all we would highly recommend.

Having stayed here before we knew what to expect & were not disappointed. Great location for visiting many attractions, towns etc within a reasonable distance.

The hosts were delightful and shared a wealth of information regarding the history of the cottage and area. The cottage was perfect for our stay and the town was adorable. Our only complaint was that we did not get to stay longer. I would absolutely stay there again.

Our stay in the Stable was short, but we would definitely stay longer.
North Marston is a lovely little village with pleasant walks and lovely people. Even the rabbits in the cottage back garden were content. The cottage, hidden in a little cul-de-sac, is directly across the street from the Pilgrim serving good food and providing a welcoming atmosphere.
The cottage, while small, provided every amenity we needed and then some. The back garden is quiet and very nicely tended.
We didn't get to meet Rachel or Pete on this trip (they were away with family) but our texts were always responded to quickly and most helpfully. We look forward to meeting them on our next visit to the village. Oh, yes, we did meet the cat....a very friendly and pettable creature!
We think anyone would be pleased to stay here.

I stayed with my son for two nights. The cottage is located in a lovely little village, with a pub across the street, and a village shop nearby. Larger shopping can be done in Winslow (Coop). There was everything we needed in the cottage, and a pretty garden with bunnies, to my son's delight. We were unlucky with the rain on one day, but had plenty to do (DVDs, games, books). Comfortable beds, small but functional kitchen. The cottage is perfect for walks in the country side, and a reasonable drive to several attractions (Bletchley park, Woburn Safari park, Go Ape, National Trust properties, etc...). It was perfect for a quick weekend escape from London. Thank you!

Definitely going to revisit again when we go to Bletchley Park.

Lovely little property, well furnished and equipped and very comfortable, just right for 2 people. Owner friendly and informative about the area. There is a lovely local pub across the road, wood burning stove giving a cozy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. The menu is unusual but having eaten there twice can thoroughly recommend it.

As a returning guest, the cottage was as lovely as last time. Warm and welcoming, with friendly but unobtrusive hosts and a mad dog who will chase a ball for ever!
Sofa bed is comfy and easy to operate.
Could probably do with a brighter lamp in the lounge when the main light is off.

Lovely country retreat
Stayed at the stables for two nights and had a great time.
The cottage has been tastefully converted to a high standard whilst retaining much of the original features.
Very cosy in the evenings with the wood stove flickering away.
The cottage overlooked rolling fields so a lovely peaceful setting
Rachel was great, kept me fully updated with checking in arrangements and other relevant information.
Highly recommend..

Excellent communication with Rachel from booking, all the way through to our departure yesterday. The cottage is as beautiful as it looks and incredibly cosy. We didn't need the log burner as it was always lovely and warm. The shower was excellent, kitchen had everything you need. Excellent location for Warner Brothers Studio Tour, Bletchley Park, NT Stowe and NT Waddesdon, where the Winter Lights is spectacular!

Idyllic
Easy process renting, quick response from Rachel, confirming my booking. Nothing was too much trouble, the house is ideally located for many local attractions. Kitchen was well equipped. We were lucky enough to have good weather and use of the ample garden. Perhaps a BBQ and ironing facilities would be useful for future guests. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Thanks again Rachel and Pete.
