Lovely bijou accommodation, small but perfectly formed. Great location and excellent views plus well equipped for a short break.
It was quite tight, size wise for two averagely built people but once you got used to height restrictions upstairs, you soon got used to it.

Location for walking, layout and quality of the facilities in the accommodation. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and had provided some things for us, like ground coffee, milk and fruit.
There wasn't anything we disliked.

Jane and Robert were the perfect hosts, able to help with our plans for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and exploring the surrounding area. They took the time to show us around and answer any questions we had with some great recommendations for the local area.
The Shippon accommodation was immaculately presented and well equipped. Our breakfast offered a range of high quality, home-cooked ingredients.
It’s clear that much time, effort and love has been spent to make The Rowe House a hugely inviting place to stay. Ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Superb.

Jane and Robert's breakfast offerings were simply delightful, inventive and plentiful. Far more than merely honest fare & more than adequate for a long days hiking in the 3-peaks area. Our favourite was the cheese souffle. Supplemented by the packed lunches and afternoon treats.
Nothing occurred that Jane and Robert didnt cope with admirably. All facilities were maintained to an exceptional standard, and there were no discomforts of any kind at all.

I stayed at The Rowe House when I went to Horton in Ribblesdale for Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge. The service provided was exceptional. I was late for my check in, Jane and Robert were quite understanding of this. I felt welcomed and the room was squeaky clean with beautiful views.
They made me a lovely vegan breakfast and provided me with awesome vegan options.
I would definitely stay again when I visit Horton in Ribblesdale.

Exceptional stay at the Rowe House! Beautiful, renovated property with amazing views and conveniently located in the middle of the Three Peaks. Our room was clean and very spacious, with a modern bathroom. Jane and Robert were delightful hosts; Jane provided us lots of information according to our interests. The breakfast was phenomenal, with fruit and veg fresh from their kitchen garden. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in. Highly, highly recommend!

The hosts were fantastic! Very helpful with everything and happy to go the extra mile. Jane gave us lots of tips about the three peaks hike and even offered to pick us up if we got stuck! The Breakfast was great too

Breakfast was wonderful: lots of options and very tasty. The couple who run the B&B are incredibly sweet and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. I definitely recommend staying here. If anything, I felt it was cheap for what we got.
Liked everything.

A short 5 minute walk downhill from the Horton-In-Ribblesdale station, we found our stay in The Rowe House a real 5-star experience. The whole house is extremely COVID-safe, so you are at ease the entire time. The owners, Jane and Robert, have made sure everything is sanitised and socially distanced. They send you a welcome pack before you arrive so you know what precautions they have taken (including how they quarantine the rooms for 72 hours where possible).
We were welcomed with tea/coffee and cake, and then advised on what walks we could do, tailored to what time we had, what we thought our abilities were etc. It's only a short walk away from the entrance to the Three Peaks trail and so we couldn't have asked for a better location.
The room itself was nice and airy. It came with an ensuite, as well as place to store your bags and hang your clothes. The room had a SMART TV so you could stream Netflix all day, if that's the kind of holiday you are looking for. The pantry was well stocked with an electric kettle, french press, fresh mint leaves, and individual pots of hot chocolate. You could get cold drinks and milk from a cool box downstairs and leave some money in the honesty jar for it. It was the little things like that, that made this such a luxurious holiday.
Because of Covid, they no longer do a breakfast buffet. However, there is a menu where you can tick what you wanted for the next day. Once done, you could leave the menu at the communal window. The breakfast was sublime. You could tell Robert is a professional chef. We have paid a lot of money in the hopes of breakfasts like these in Leeds, but were always disappointed. This was freshly cooked, yummy, and even had herbs from their garden. If we weren't doing long walks after, I would've ordered everything from the menu.
When we came back from our walks, there was the added welcome touch of finding a surprise bowl by the window of a home-made treat. It was delicious.
