Perfect location for our trip to Bar Harbor & Acadia - walkable to all of the shops & restaurants, and an easy drive to Acadia hikes. The off-street parking was amazing to have!
The house was well-stocked and comfortable, and generally clean (bedding and linens, etc) but could very much use a deep clean and vacuum.

The property was perfect location for walking to everythi g in town. I would suggest that a little more detail with cleaning of the cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A little dated/worn but clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location couldn’t be better. Communication with the owner was less than ideal (didn’t respond to any of my in or out of app texts), finally had to call to confirm everything was ok as well as the check-in process. Pillows are like sleeping on rocks. Bring your own.

Just a perfect stay all around.

Family of 4 including 2 teens stayed 3 nights-- clean, comfortable, great location. We spent most of our days exploring Acadia; it was great to be walkable to restaurants for breakfasts and dinners. Check-in and communication were very easy and smooth.

Perfect place for a 5 day girls trip to Bar Harbor! Location was absolutely perfect. We walked everywhere we needed to go: e-bikes, kayaking, whale tour, shopping, grocery store, and many restaurants. Check in was a breeze. The hosts were super helpful and responsive to all emails. I feel they went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. The accommodations were clean, convenient to the Park, and just what we needed. We would definitely recommend this listing.

If you're looking for a place in Bar Harbor and this fits the number of people in your party, jump all over this beauty at 5 Jordan Place! The host communicated well and the home was clean with tons of character. It is only a short block down the street to the Bar Island Land Bridge and a couple blocks downtown. No need to drive anywhere in town. We did get sunrise reservations for the Cadillac Mt summit sunrise and it was only a 17 minute drive. Will definitely book this place again when in the area.

This a wonderful place to stay. As they say: "Location, location, location"!! It is central to everything in Bar Harbor, and it has two free parking places!! We enjoyed our stay very much would definitely return when we come back to Bar Harbor. Thanks Tom and Chris.

The location could not be better. Everything is within a short walk and there are two parking spots. The house was clean, large, and very comfortable. Being able to do laundry was great. Our only complaint was about the mattresses. They are beyond firm and sleeping was difficult the first night. But, we would stay there again.

This rental is spacious and in a great location with access to all of Bar Harbor's shops, restaurants, and bakeries. It was wonderful to wake up each morning and be able to walk out for a coffee or pasty or just take a quick stroll around town. We could then quickly drive into Acadia and enjoy the park for the day. After a tiring day of hiking it was so nice to be walking distance to restaurants, shops, and ice cream. It was also very conveniently located to a grocery store as well as the Bar Island trail, where the children could look for sea creatures in the tide pools. A few house aspects could be updated, but I would definitely stay here again for the location and very reasonable price for Bar Harbor.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There is plenty of room for us and our 2 adult children. The location is perfect as we could walk to everything in Bar Harbor and not have to deal with parking. We hope to be back someday!

Perfect location for walking around town and Bar island, and just minutes from Acadia. Private parking steps from the door. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Beds firm but comfortable. Several fragile/breakable decorations, so small children may need careful supervision.

Just a cozy place to spend a few days. Enjoyed the area

My wife and I had a great time staying here with our 9-month-old for three nights in May. Everything was great about the apartment -- the cleanliness, location, responsiveness of the host -- all great. However, on the last night, some guests checked in to the apartment directly above us at midnight, and proceeded to make noise (unpacking, cooking, running laundry machine) until around 2am. I found this to be very disruptive and inconsiderate. The host should ask guests of the upstairs unit to be more considerate of downstairs guests.

This was a very centrally located place. In addition to being very comfortable, we could walk to the whole town.

We were here visiting family and the spot was perfect. It was easily accessible for a family member on a walker and was a great location downtown. The only thing it could have used was a couple more bed pillows, other than that it was perfect!

Highly recommend staying here. It’s right in downtown, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The place was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything in Bar Harbor, we walked to dinner each night. Spacious and comfortable overall. Highly recommended if you want privacy that hotels don’t offer.

Great apartment with parking. Comfy beds, nice equipped kitchen. Supermarket just down the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Called the owner to let us know we arrived. He never called back

This rental has an absolutely awesome location. Within EASY walking distance to most everything in Bar Harbor - and it’s an extremely quiet location. It was VERY clean. The parking for 2 cars was GREAT - an easy place to park in Bar Harbor is WONDERFUL. We mostly ate out so I can’t comment much on the kitchen. Our biggest complaint was literally the worst mattress we’ve ever slept on. It was HARD - not extra firm - but HARD. About as soft as sleeping on a carpeted floor. My back was sore from sleeping on it. As an owner of a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ VRBO property NEAR Yellowstone, I would recommend the owner get a sleep number mattress for the queen bed. (We have 7 in our VRBO and customers love them and we’ve never had an issue.) The other big issue for us was light control. The owner has good cellular shades installed on all the windows that open from the top and bottom, which is great for privacy but not for blocking unwanted light from the neighbors at night or early morning light. My wife was awakened at 5am from lights being turned on in a neighbor’s place. At least in the bedrooms there should be curtains, blackout cellular shades, or something that allow you to block unwanted light. The Internet was slow - shows on TV pause every minute or two to buffer - not a big deal for us. If the issues I’ve highlighted aren’t important to you then you’ll love this place. As for us, we won’t return here on our next trip to Bar Harbor simply because of the bed. We dreaded going to bed.

Great location! Walking distance to all that is Bar Harbor.
The odor of musty books was pronounced.
Kitchen very well equipped, but not able to grill, because the grill was very dirty.

Wonderful location walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. Very clean and has what you would need in the kitchen to cook if you choose to, we chose to eat lots of lobster at the local restaurants.TV streaming would be our only negative, we watched more buffering than any actual show at night. Also a short drive to Acadia Nation Park. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is centrally located to so many restaurants, shops, and of course the Sandbar. This cozy condo made our vacation a memorable one. Enjoyed the beauty of nearby Cadillac Mountain, and the Summit with unbelievable views! (We gave 4 stars for accuracy only because the listing has 11am as checkout time, but the instructions inside condo lists 10am as checkout) We highly recommend this property to anyone who is planning a Bar Harbor vacation!

Can't beat the location.
And the place was just as advertised.
Owners were very responsive. (We had one issue, and Tom not only responded promptly, he indulged us with a piano tune after we requested.)
The beds are a little odd. (Very low to the ground.) But we had a great stay and would go back.

The house was in the perfect location - just a few minute walk from all the shopping and dining and right off the turn to get on Park Loop Road. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The parking spot is very convenient!
Our only complaint were with the mattresses. They are quite thin and hard. Otherwise, the house was perfect and I would definitely rent it again!

My fiance and I brought my parents to Bar Harbor for my father's birthday and this was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in town and Acadia National Park. Property is clean, convenient, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING. The location cannot be beat. You are one block away from the water and where the bar is (the kids walked down every day to explore the tidal pools). You can walk to everything in Bar Harbor - you do not need your car in town (which is great because parking is hard). You can even walk to the grocery store which is two hours away.
The place is clean and comfortable. Very spacious. We were two adults, a 7 year old, and a 10 year old. It was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. The house was super cute and in a really quiet location.
Tom and his brother couldn't have been more great. They made checking in and checking out so easy. We didn't have any questions while there, but they made sure we knew we could reach out if we did.
We definitely hope to come back to Bar Harbor and definitely plan to stay here again!

Had a great eat time. House is clean and well equipped. Location is excellent to go to town or Acadia. TV reception is spotty at best. Don’t plan of a quiet night watching TV…not going to happen.

We had a great time for our ladies weekend. We could walk anywhere in Bar Harbor with ease, and driving into Acadia was a cinch. The pictures don’t do the location justice. It’s lovely!!

We were so happy we booked this house. Very clean, great condition with comfy beds. We stayed during a warm streak and appreciated a/c window units at night. Walked to grocery store and downtown Bar Harbor.

The unit was in an ideal location. It was walking distance from town yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The unit was very clean and bright. We highly recommend it.

Tom was very communicative. Allowed for late checkout. Bed was not comfortable. For how much we paid I didn’t expect to have to clean up everything including dishes and towels and sheets. Had everything we needed though.

Absolutely perfect location in Bar Harbor - walk to Bar Island, easy walk to shops and restaurants, and quick access to Acadia. The rental is super clean, organized, and well-furnished. The owners were exceedingly communicative and friendly. Given how spotless the rental is, a $250 cleaning fee seems a tad steep for a quick overnight…but likely a sign of the times. Highly recommend!
