Good location between the ocean and the lagoon.
Extremely poor customer service. Bathroom light bulb was burned out, stuff couldn't take care of it before our arrival. No hot water to shower. There is no water pressure to shower, water drips slowly goes away giving enough time to rinse, but not to shower. 25% clean. Flooring is coming apart and dangerous to be barefoot. Ownership personality knocked @ door rushing us to get out of the room before noon. OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT OFFERS. Not a place to go back to or to recommend. Next time will camp at one of the neighbors facilities. You could get same careless service for less $...

Good location but the shower barely worked and it was very basic.
The shower didn’t work, it was very hot at night and it seemed a bit unkept.

the location and the balcony
it was too expensive for the state of the bungalow. its a bit run down, de shower is just a drip and the place was dirty. its also the only place in the whole village without a hammock which was a bummer.

Okay for a few nights:)

Everything was great, and we are returning on the 23rd for 4 more nights.
It would be more comfortable to have a couple of light Mexican blankets, rather than just a sheet.
Please provide for our next stay.
That will be our 3rd stay there.
Thank you!

The location is beautiful and right next to the beach.
The shower drained very slowly and the water was cold.

Great cabaña literally on the beach. Nice hammock!
The shows could use a bit of updating.

Super easy to find, great location.
No bucket of water to wash our feet before entering and putting sand everywhere 😂

Cock near by :)

Its is very close to the beach where you can surf, the bed is comfortable
The room wasnt clean when we got in, the windows were very dirty, as well as the table, fans and the mosquito net. In the shower there is no soap provided, so you will have to take your own with you. I think for the price it is lacking service and a more clean setting. The view is nice, but there is a lot of trash laying around of others. Also there is less privacy due to the people downstairs can look straight up.

Room met expectations
Lack of privacy, feels like room entry is on main Street and walkway. Not a fan of the location. Restaurant was detached. Lack of cohesiveness. Had to walk thru contruction area ...

The location is great, you are right infront of the beach to surf and you have your own stairs going up.
Lack of facilities, we had to ask to get soap in the tube which was empty, would be nice to have a hammock like the other rooms (also if you see pricewise) and maybe a small table for outside if you wish to eat there would be super handy.

Awesome spot, it has wifi, ac and the best beach location. I definitely would come back.

Great location right on the beach
convenient check in / out
included mosquito net

The location was really nice and close to the beach & with a view to the lagoon, the room had everything we needed. We enjoyed it a lot!
the wifi was slow but its probably everywhere like this, little bit expensive compared to the other cananas with same facilities, and the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours shower or talking.

Nice room right by the water. Fan and AC a bonus.
The room was clean but bathroom shower was filled with mold. Really, this room isn't that much different than the dozens you can get for 200MEX/night on the island. You pay a premium to be able to book in advance and not hoof it all around looking for rooms. While we appreciated this, especially as we planned only 1 night stay, I wouldn't want to pay this price for several days. The rooms upstairs with a balcony and view of the ocean are no doubt lovely.

lovely welcoming staff, great size room and good fans
nothing!

The location was good--it's close to a little 'square' with restaurants and shops, and diagonally across from the beach. It's not a full, straight on view of the ocean, but you can see it from the balcony, and you can hear the waves at night. The place looks nice--wood window frames, modern sink/fixtures, etc. It's spacious--the room is large, and the balcony is also a nice size.
There's no AC, which wasn't a surprise (wasn't listed as having AC) but it really needed it, at least, at this time of year (April). There was no cross-breeze and millions of mosquitoes (they did provide a mosquito net, but this level of accommodation should have AC or a ceiling fan, at least). Water pressure was poor, the drain didn't drain in the shower, and given that you're coming from the beach (with sand on/in everything), it would be helpful to have a way to rinse off the sand before tracking it into the already slow-moving shower. The room is not cleaned daily, so sand is everywhere, and to protect the nice wooden floors, some plasticky-foam cover has been put on the floor, but it's peeling and hideous. A mini fridge would be a huge feature.

The location is extremely convenient. The rooms are spacious and quiet. They leave you a broom which is helpful since you can't help but track in large amounts of sand.
The checkout time listed on Booking.com is later than the enforced checkout time, which led to some confusion/small conflict upon checkout.

I was in the top floor room, you don’t realise how pretty, spacious and bright it is until you get there… didn’t want to leave…had the best views in the island.
a bit more expensive than similar ones but with the advantage to pay with card as Chacahua has no ATM and cash will run out quick
the room was fresh in the morning which was great to start the day but evening was really hot so had to plan refreshing it before bed time otherwise I’ll be roasting… the fan helped with door open but AC could be a good addition.

compare to Chacahua its one of the best places to sleep. the location is perfect and you have air condition! wifi worked great
it fits 2 people, for 4 its too small. the double beds are tiny, and there is no separation between the room and the bathroom but a small door made out of bamboos. In the last night some of our stuff was stolen from our back yard, so dont leave anything to dry outside the room during the night.

The room had views of both the ocean and the lagoon. It was close to the beach and restaurants. Cool and comfortable.
The shower drained very slowly. The noise from the bars was loud, but not intolerable.

the cabana is beautiful - well made, large and clean. we were facing the gorgeous lagoon - the view from the bed was spectacular. despite being close to the public path it felt secluded.
when we first arrived we were very disappointed to see we were next to a building site. also that an abandoned building project was directly in front of us spoiling the view to the lagoon - we actually didn’t notice it too much after a while but it really is messy and a great shame in a place of such outstanding beauty.

It’s a convenient location, the room has a bathroom, insect nets and a/c which was good
The water pressure and shower head were poor, the room wasn’t very clean (inside the cupboard), the key for the front door didn’t work well and it was very loud from the neighbouring bars/accomodation so we had trouble sleeping but maybe it’s quieter outside of the Christmas period.
