I LOVED the little crick in the back yard with the two chairs and table🥰💕🦋 that was my absolute favorite

I rented this cabin for a weekend getaway with my dog, and it was great! Very serene, really nice property, and I loved that my dog had so much fenced in area to wander around off leash. Like others said, the ceiling is pretty low in some spots, but even though I am tall, it didn’t bother me much. The home is also closer to a main road than I expected, but again, didn’t bother me much (and made it easy to find). All in all I highly recommend this place!

Such a nice cabin to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay here. As other reviews mention, the upper level and bedroom have a very low ceiling, which isn’t the most comfortable for getting in and out, but this didn’t detract from our stay at all. It is just something to keep in mind when booking. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it.

Small home that is set up perfectly for a couple. Just be aware anyone looking, there are a lot of steps around the house and the bedroom is going to have you bending over but it made it fun. We didn't use everything but let me tell you if I could bring that fireplace home with me for my house I would. Easy check in and out.

I liked the cabin over all, but the power and internet is constantly going out. One of the baseboard heaters is out, so tuning on a box fans to circulate the warm air helped a lot.

The location was perfect. Quiet, but still easy to get to the shops if needed. The house was very clean and peaceful and I really enjoyed my time there.

The home was convenient to local hiking trails and the grocery store.

Overall the cabin was very cute and we enjoyed our stay. That said there were a few things left to be desired. The fenced in area for the pups was very overgrown, and underneath the cushions of the sofa and chair could use a cleaning. It is summer time and of the eight windows in the house only four could be opened for air flow and the screens and windows were very dirty. I get that we’re in a cabin in the woods but an occasional cleaning would be nice. The fans provided for cooling were very dirty and we didn’t want to use them. I contacted Vacasa and heard back from them the next day about the cleanliness and fans. They did promptly bring us brand new fans to replace the dirty ones and we were very grateful for that. I also mentioned the condition of the windows and furniture so that the cleaning team is aware. They offered to send the cleaning team during our stay but it was a short stay and we declined. Overall we did really enjoy the location and the cabin was adorable.

This place is such a beautiful, peaceful retreat. We loved just sitting on the deck and watching our dogs explore the yard as we listened to the creek. We all had a great time!
There were a couple things we hope will be addressed: the bed loft. The bed itself is ok, but the quarters were a bit too snug for us, especially as weather heated up a bit. I was so happy to find a hideabed in the sofa. That worked mostly well but it is a bit catty wampus and needs an adjustment or replacement. There is a bit of an odor in the laundry area that didn't bother us too much probably needs to be looked at.

Loved the location. Sits nest to a small brook that is very audible. Extreamly calming at night with windows opened. All appliances worked and kitchen was stocked with utensils etc.

The manager of the house was a great guy and very helpful. When we arrived, there was no firewood, but the next day the manager brought us some.
The minus's were that it was impossible to stand up in the minuscule bedroom. The stairs leading up to it were extremely narrow, and since the bathroom was downstairs, I almost fell in the middle of the night when needing to go downstairs.
The sofa in the living room was extremely lumpy, and I ended up sitting on the floor rather than the sofa.
The location was delightful, but the inside the cottage needs a great deal of help.

We had such a lovely time at Oberon's junction. The fire place was warm, the bed was cozy, and the skiing was easy to get to! Would definitely stay here again.

This place was clean. The down side is the steep stairs to the upper room and low shower for us tall people. Minor inconvenience There was an issue with the front door code not working but I got a fast response and a way in within 10 min.

My Boyfriend and Dog loved this place! It has a wonderful fenced-in yard tucked away in the trees! You could hear the sweet sounds of the creek. It was so relaxing to get away from city life for a while. It felt like extreme glamping! Only a 20-30 minute drive to some cool hikes. I highly recommend Mirror Lake Trail. The house was clean and ready for us. The only thing is if you are 5'8" or taller watch your head in the shower and upstairs we tall folk bumped our heads a few times LOL but not a big deal. This is my 4th stay with Vacasa now and I am so obsessed! Every house has been amazing!

Would have rather camped on property
I gave the company a chance to reach out before posting this comment. And they never got back to me. Its been two weeks since we stayed and when I reached out. I will never stay here again. And I realize they have great reviews.
We loved the property. Most importantly the fire pit. We read so many great reviews and are now wondering if they were paid to post. The great reviews are why we rented.
Anyway, upon arrival and getting settled, there was what looked like spaghetti splatter dried all over the oven doors. And while placing items in the fridge, it was beyond dirty.
The following morning while my children went to go explore with my husband, they took two steps off the porch opposite of front door and stepped in dog poop. Gross.
And seeing as there is no hood range in kitchen, when you have to open door as everything you cook sets off fire alarms....A million flies come on. I can only imagine from the numerous people that bring their dogs and dont pick up their poop. Allowing even more flies to come in. So many flies the bedroom upstairs was swarming as I went to bed. Double gross
Also, on our first night, my sons went to pull red fleece blanket off back of couch and found some woman’s strip eye lashes on blanket. Obviously from a previous stay.
I dont write a bad review often. But, this one was worth the review.
Great property and lovely fire pit.

The perfect little get away
The cabin met all our expectations and more for a little get away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and stay in and cozy by the fire.

Magical home in the forest
This was a delightful home which, while just off the main road, was set against the curve of a creek, among lots of trees with moss dripping off & a wood-burning stove. My only caveat is it needs to be made explicitly clear that the bedroom is not only accessible via one TALL (more than knee height for me) step, but at the top of a narrow, steep stairway - and it has quite low ceilings (even for me, and I'm short!). But, other than that, everything was great, kitchen was well-stocked, all was comfortable.

Cute and Cozy
The cabin was very quaint and functional downstairs. The narrow and steep stairway posed some problems getting luggage up there as well as were somewhat of a hazard, especially coming down. The bedroom left a lot to be desired, we were not prepared to have to literally crawl in and out of bed!
The location was nice within the wooded neighborhood, but additional outdoor lighting would make it easier to find and navigate.

Creekside bliss
This cabin was so impressive. Loved the 70s style and the cleanliness of the home. Spent an afternoon in and out of the beautiful creek that runs through the property. We're hoping to come back in the winter months as well. Hopefully see some snow this time. Thank you for the amazing stay and the dog friendly house. We absolutely loved Oberons junction.

Great cabin
Loved this little cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed. The dogs loved the yard. It wasn’t a real walkable neighborhood, which would have made it perfect, but there are plenty of trails within a 10-20 minute drive away. We would definitely come back

Serene getaway
Beautiful property, spent a wonderful weekend reading by the creek and watching the robins. 10/10 will be returning! And next time my husband will know to duck through some doorways! Haha, being 6’4” can be difficult in some of these mountain cabins

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing spring weekend here with our dog. It was a good size for two people and a dog. The property is very private, with no other cabins in close proximity. You can hear the creek from both of the porches, but also a bit of traffic noise from the road – particularly on a sunny day when bikers are out. It was intermittent enough not to be an issue. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the clearance is a little low in some places. If you're taller than 5' 9", you'll have to bend down while climbing the stairs up to the loft and when showering. The place is perfect for a dog. It has a fenced in yard with plenty of scents for them to sniff out. The rental provides bowls, poop bags, a bed, and a leash, in case you forgot something. If your dog looks hard enough, they'll probably uncover a ball left behind by a previous renter. The kitchen has all the essentials when it comes to appliances, utensils/tools, plates/bowls, glasses/mugs, and pots/pans. There isn't much in terms of spices or staples (not that there needs to be), so plan to bring all the ingredients you need. There are some great hikes nearby, less than a 10-minute drive. Some require the Northwest Forest Pass to park at the trailhead. You might want to research in advance or have on just in case. We hiked the Salmon Creek Trail and really enjoyed it.We had a great time, and we're thinking about going back in the winter to experience it in the snow.

Beautiful property and cozy cabin!
We spent a lovely 3 days at this cabin and it was wonderful. My 5 year old and I played in the creek and I relaxed and read on the back deck. This was a perfect, peaceful get away. I had to promise my daughter that we'd return and next time we'll bring wood for the campfire!

Sweet
It was nice, and cozy. Very clean. The forest around us was amazing. The house looks smaller than in the pictures, but was fine and great for just me and my partner. The ceilings upstairs and shower were definitely short for taller folks-- I'm 5'11 and I definitely and to lean, but it was definitely worth it-- and I'm 4'10 girlfriend loved it :)
Check-in is pretty late in the day and check out is pretty early, so it didn't seem really worth paying for 2 nights when we were there for such a small portion of the first and last day. But over all, great spot, very cute, and so accommodating for pups!
