The Farmhouse is furnished and equipped to a very good standard, the entrance hall boasts an elegant staircase leading to first floor bedrooms, many with en-suite facilities. The spacious dining room with wooden floor opens to a further sitting area with double-sided wood-burning stove and French door opening to the enclosed walled garden. Additional reception rooms including a drawing room and a sitting room offer alternative space for ultimate relaxation. The well-equipped large kitchen is complete with both an Aga and a conventional cooker. For the enthusiast chef or guests with an interest, the owner offers cookery courses/demonstrations at the farmhouse, the courses will give stress-free ways to create fabulous food using fresh ingredients - all classes can be booked by pre-arrangement. Hot tub hire can also be arranged directly with the owner. The peaceful village of Sculthorpe is just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches and RSPB bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep, as a footpath leads direct from the grounds. Fakenham, 2 miles, offers good shops, restaurants, bowling alley, cinema and a golf course. Bustling Burnham Market is just 7 miles away, where you can enjoy a spot of traditional market shopping and lunch. Visit Wells-next-the-Sea with its excellent colourful beach huts and dine at the picturesque fishing harbour – popular for its fresh shellfish, beach hut available for guests by prior arrangement with the owner. The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton are close by offering an array of activities for all ages. Enjoy a day out in the city of Norwich with its market, excellent shopping malls and theatre. Visit the famous Norfolk Broads where daily boat hire and river trips are available to explore the expanse of waterways - a natural haven for birds and wildlife.
