Exceptional

Everything. It's a traditional-style BnB, well-appointed, comfortable, in a good location, and serving a fantastic breakfast. But most important was the standard of service, which was quite exceptional. The owner happily went above and beyond what one might reasonably expect.

Didn’t even get to check in but was charged

No comment

Host wasn’t there on checking in and property left unlocked - I called out 3x and went upstairs but no response- cleaning spray’s left out on desk - waited 25 mins but no show - called Booking.com to inform them but nothing done. Then to add insult to injury the landlady rang me 7 hours later and was very abusive to me and elderly mother even though it was her fault and she had been paid - said I was lying yet- why would I as I had already paid and had to then find alternative accommodation at last minute - avoid at all costs

Excellent B&B and host

The B&B was very homely and easy to get to. The car park was ok (round the back was a grass area). The owner was extremely helpful when we phoned asking for an early check in. The breakfast was ok, lots of choice which was good and all included. The size of our room was brilliant, very spacious room including tea and coffee area, dressing table area as well as bed, wardrobe and 3 chairs! Overall brilliant B&B and brilliant host.

The bathroom was a little small, especially the shower

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Wasn't anything she wouldn't do for us. Room was what you would want for a week's holiday.. had all you needed. Even with it being a small double there was a small fridge. Put our freezer blocks in her freezer overnight and gave them back at breakfast.

Extraction fan not working in bathroom.

Definitely a place I'll be going back to!

Just like home comforts! The breakfast was exceptional and it was wonderful to have coffee in a cafetiere. The room was gorgeous and the bed was really comfortable. Definitely going there again.

There was nothing not to like, in my opinion!

Night away for a wedding

The building is beautiful, room was huge (family suite), exceptionally clean, spacious, tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed. We were originally booked into a double but the lovely owner upgraded us on arrival. Good parking behind the building. The bed was big and comfy. Shower was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. Will definitely be back.

This was a warm and friendly trip. Locals were lovely too.

Sue, the host, was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was filling and Sue was very helpful when I asked for a different cereal.

Absolutely no complaints

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, served by lovely lady! And the best surprise was a proper natural coffe brewed in the coffe pot. Beds were very comfy. Overall, lovely stay.

Quaint Devonshire house full of character, lovely coffee facilities. Comfy extra big bed and pleasant host.

The TV guide had a serious delay on it, so took ages to change the channel.
