The bed was really comfortable
The windows don’t close properly so it was very cold.
3.5 / 5.0
Good location and just a 25 min walk into Brighton (or a short bus ride). Wi-fi worked well. Bed comfortable. Handy to have a kitchenette with a fridge.
Everything was clean.
The window looked out to a wall and another flat’s very messy kitchen window.
The TV didn’t work and although I tried all the inputs there was nothing coming out.
The bathroom sink is in the shower.
There wasn’t enough kitchen equipment. Could do with a big salad bowl!
The place could do with some TLC and is overpriced for what you get.

Good location and price per night, the room was cute and cosy, good amenities, wifi and provided cookware, plates etc. Shower was hot and the bed was comfortable, also nice they provided an extra blanket and the heat worked well as it was cold outside. Close to public transport and has a shop and pub outside so easy to find if youre not from the area.
The television didnt work very well and the hobs take a long time to heat up. Would also have been good to provide more towels and bedding as we were staying for over a week and couldnt wash the ones provided. Some signs of wear and tear but nothing you wouldnt expect.

I liked the orange bed cover and the wallpaper ver much. Bed was clean and comfortable.Plenty cleaning stuff were in the cupboard. Hair dryer, iron, iron board, hoover.
The room was small but for the short time we stay was fine and we didn't bother as much. We liked our time in Brighton and the stay in the room was also pleasant.
Unfortunatly the shower didn't work well as were no hot water. We had to use basket for shower.
Was also not nice smell in the kitchen area but we couldn't work out what it was. In general clean but behind the ceiling scarting was visable dust. It is true that the TV doesn't work well. This is because the room antena is very sensative. It has to be adjust for each chanel. We still manage to watch some programs.

1- good price
2- location is near the beach and the marina
3- available kitchenware, stove, microwave, kettle and kitchen sink
4- comfortable large bed
1- the location is near the beach and the marina but far away from the city centre, you have to take a bus every time
2- it was not easy to open the lockbox to get the keys, the lockbox was rusted, dirty and tricky to open. It took me 15 min to open it
3- The room is very narrow, almost no space for the luggage, even for walking across
4- TV is not working
5- the bathroom is too small
6- the bathroom sink is smaller than my hands and located inside the bath
7- no hot and cold water mixer
8- the shower does not provide hot water, only cold water is available
9- water flow is very weak
10- the kitchenware were poor and unclean
11- no cupboards, only few lockers which are full with cleaning equipment, no space to store your clothes
12- the towels provided were not clean
13- the window lock is broken and unsafe to open
14- the wifi was slow and stopped working after 2 days
15- the general conditions of the room is poor, under equipped, and unclean

Good location in a quiet part of town, and the building was very quiet too. Good firm bed, we slept well. Impressive how everything was fitted into a small space- adequate kitchen and shower room. Kitchen quite well equipped for breakfast, take away, or simple meal.A large mirror in hall which few Abbs provide. Clever mural which succeeds in opening up the cramped space. All worked fine including hot water.
There are many positives to this accommodation, but size is not one. No prob if you just want to sleep and have breakfast, but not for claustrophobes. No outside space or outlook. But this is reflected in the price which is cheap for rip-off Brighton and clear in the advert. A second folding chair would be good. Also, either a bowl or sink plug so we could wash up properly, not just rinse under the tap!

Things we liked were things out of the control of the property owners: the shopkeeper in the shop across the street was lovely to us; the property was very close to the main bus route into the city centre and to a Lidl.
Title refers to something my husband asked me the day after we got there. Here’s a list of what was wrong with the property:
-poor internet connection, disconnects every 10-15 mins. Connection needs maintenance; when working it’s painfully slow
-poor TV signal; antenna must be hung out the window to get anything resembling a reasonable signal
-foam mattress, not an actual mattress
-hole in bathroom ceiling stuffed with kitchen paper
-no light over hob, meaning it’s difficult to see the hob while you’re cooking
-white blind on window which does not block sunlight in any meaningful way
-mounted yellow lighting makes the entire room look like piss
-bathroom sink inside shower
-room in general is much smaller than was advertised
-loose floorboards across entire room
-wood lice in the bathroom
-paint falling off the ceiling in the corner
-mould around bathroom window, more mould on the painting above the bed
-main window would not stay open; we had to use the chopping board to keep it braced open
-no sound insulation around door; we were shouted at by another resident one night for having a conversation they could hear through the gap in the door
-kitchen cupboards smell like they need to be left open for a couple of days to air out

Location was close to where we wanted to be. That’s about it I can’t say anything else nice about this place.
Where can I start ok the studio is a lot smaller then it looks in the picture should never be let to move the one person. Paint flaking off the walls and ceiling, mould everywhere, laminate flooring was loose kept getting our socks stuck in it, stains on the bed throw fag burn on the quilt cover electric plugs are loose toilet door handle hanging off the tv don’t work as it runs off an indoor aerial and the sink is in the shower so have to get in the shower to clean your teeth.

Location - both Brighton Marina and the Brighton Pier side were within a reasonable walking distance
It’s small, a lot smaller than the pictures suggest. Wifi barely worked at all. Not a fan of the impersonal management style, where the property owner has zero contact with guests.

location…close to work, not keen on basic facilities, sink, kettle ( that had to be plugged in on the floor as plug extension strip didn’t work. ) toaster didn’t work. incredibly small. terrible foam (x2) mattress, we just rolled to the middle. location
the general state of I’ll repair… pealing, damp paintwork, laminate floor broken, creaking coming up. toaster didn’t work, incredibly small. no curtains. opened window then couldn’t shut it. extension strip for kettle didn’t work. two pieces of foam for mattress on bed - very uncomfortable - Ikea sells them for the price of a three night stay. grouting in shower unhygienic - mouldy- signing a disclaimer to say that we wouldn’t have parties was interesting… where would we have put the party goers? there wasn’t enough room to swing a mouse let alone a cat! oh yes and pillowcases stained -

Having a sink, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave.
The shower was great.
The apartment location was brilliant for us and only 5 minutes from our friends place. There was also some available parking spaces on the road.
The electric heater warmed the room very quickly.
The bed was memory foam, it was too soft and rolled you towards the middle.
The floor was laminated and creaked badly. One laminate joint dipped down 5-10mm and looked like it could break any time.
The tv didn't have the terrestrial channels BBC1,2, ITV, Channel 4 or 5
There was no clothes rail to hang clothes and too many coat hooks.
There was a small wash basin actually inside the shower cubicle which was ok but wet feet after shower use.

Nor much!
The Bed had no mattress, it was just 2 pieces of Foam! There was outdated food left in the Cupboard, the kettle had to be cleaned before we could use it, poor ventilation, which ment after having a shower, it left the bedding damp, instead of a hole in the ceiling in the shower being filled properly it was bunged up with Kitchen Roll! The Laminate Flooring wasn't connected properly, it was all loose, leading me to scratch my foot! No help at all from the staff. We had to pay another £192 on top of the nearly £400 we had already paid, to stay in another hotel! It totally spoilt the start to what should have been a memorable weekend, celebrating our wedding anniversary!!
2.0 / 5.0
The bed was comfortable, the kettle worked, the microwave was easy to use and the window functioned. There was no strange smells, the refrigerator was perfectly adequate. Plenty of storage for the limited space. Getting to leave.
Everything else, the shower was atrocious in particular it made no sense at all, it was either extremely hot or extremely cold. The hob did not work, on its highest setting it couldn’t even melt butter in the pan. Plus only one of the burners even worked! There was plenty of cutlery to use as well as plate not that we could take advantage of it. The toaster didn’t work either, also if you didn’t keep the window in the bathroom open the steam from the shower you’ve just had will make the entire flat damp for the rest of the day. There is a sink in the shower.

The location was great just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The property was just as described so it was great for a weekend break.
The timer on the light needs to be extended as we didn't have enough time to find the key hole. The TV reception needs a better Ariel connection but apart from that everything else was good and tidy and fitted what we needed, thanks.
