Perfect relaxing weekend break with the luxury of generous rooms , fine dining and perfect Spa

Very flexible with our arrival and the room rwas ready early. Extremely accommodating staff, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely show round on arrival and help offered to carry our bags. We made full use of the spa and treatments, which are wonderful, clean, quiet, and well maintained. Our room was luxurious, with a massive bed! Really lovely bathroom and plenty of space in the room to sit and enjoy the peace. Dinner in the restaurant was perfect! Great choice of veggie options and generous portions. Breakfast was equally lovely. We felt extremely spoilt and considered at all points of the stay. It was an added bonus to be able to use the spa for a few hours after check out, which added to the relaxation of the weekend. Thank you!

We loved everything! A very small point would be to know the price of the evening meal menu, we may have missed this but were a little unclear whether there was a set price for the whole meal or a price for courses. We didn't order a starter but afterwards wondered if it was already included in the price. We stayed B+B and noted there was an allowance for this in a package, but no clarity on price otherwise. Everything else just perfect x

A good base for exploring West Sussex, set in an historic town with lovely old buildings.

The old world ambiance and friendliness of staff. Good quality food and healthy options at breakfast.

The menu didn't change at all (except for chef's specials which changed a little) and would be repetitive if staying longer than about four days.

Helpful and courteous staff. The building is very old but clean and well maintained. Location is very central to the town.

Service could be a touch slow when busy but the staff were clearly doing their best.

Welcoming, comfortable, restful

Really friendly greeting. Made to feel welcome. Room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Spa was lovely, clean and great products. Delicious dinner and good service.

The tables weren't set up ready for breakfast when we arrived. It wasn't explained to us that there was cereal, orange juice etc in the room next door. We noticed on our way out. It was a tasty cooked breakfast though

Wondeful night away with my youngest son, super friendly staff, lovely comfy bed, and great food

All of the staff were amazing, delicious food, lovely location, my son loved the pool and good times for the children to be in the pool. There was a lot of wind and rain that night and our room felt particularly noisy so I didn’t sleep well. there was a howling of wind which I think the little alcove window made worse!

Our bedroom was smaller than I thought, and there was quite a quiet atmosphere at the hotel in the dining room, which could be helped with some nice background music

too many things to say but briefly accommodation very basic and poor quality for the price. service at breakfast very poor. parking bad even though I had been assured there would be no issue with the parking.

An excellent midweek stay. Humans and dogs are well looked after.

We visited the Spread Eagle Hotel and Spa for a midweek birthday treat. Its location in Midhurst was convenient for us to get to from home without too much travelling time. We travel with our dog Dudley, so stay at dog friendly places and this was certainly up to the grade. We were all made to feel very welcome. The room was large enough for Duds to crash comfortably. The Spa was very clean and well appointed. A table was made up for us in the Lounge Bar so that we could bring Duds along to have dinner. There was a reasonable choice of dishes and the quality of what we had was excellent. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of cold and cooked dishes.

Our stay was too short, next time we'll be spending more time to rest and relax in a comfortable and caring environment.
