Lovely place to stay

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was just what we needed. Out dog made welcome by all. Food was delicious

The only criticism was that although the bed was lovely and comfy the pillows were rock hard and we both struggled to sleep on them.

Comfy bed, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed there to attend a function and it was very well organised.

The room was on the small side, the bathroom shelf was very unstable and needs work.

Friendly, comfortable and good value.

Friendly welcome on arrival, comfortable room and prompt service. Dinner was good and breakfast superb. Overall, good value for money.

Great place, family run, brill food - ticked all the box's :-)

Great Location, VERY Friendly staff, Food was excellent and served quickly and with a smile ! A "family " feel place with a big Beer garden which was great in the Sun.

Room was a fraction old fashioned - this WASN'T a problem and the positives FAR outweighed the negatives. It would have been good to have blackout blinds in the bedroom as it was super bright in the morning through the curtains.

One of the best English inns in which we have stayed

The breakfast was excellent, the evening meal with friends was excellent and it was perfectly positioned for our needs The staff were all great and mine host the tops!!

Breakfast was really nice. Lunch was also very good pub grub. Staff were without exception friendly and pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Sadly closed on the Sunday evening.

Some noise from the main road (kept bedroom windows closed) low level hum from refrigeration equipment - didn't stop us sleeping well

Lovely, relaxing experience. Very friendly staff.

The staff were very welcoming, the evening meal was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The location was easy to find and perfect for the party we were heading to.

The only downside was the cost of taxi was way higher than expected for travelling 3 miles. Vegetarian option on the bar menu was not great, but good enough.
