The location and the internal decoration were excellent, as were the staff - very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were overpriced for facilities offered. Food only available in the evening.

Beautifully decorated. Lounge and restaurant delightful settings. Food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
We couldn’t really see the tv from our bed in first room allocated to us. We asked if we could change rooms which was done for us. Second room much better! Also we were asked if we wanted newspapers on checking in form but the hotel didn’t seem to have any the next morning when queried at reception.

Beautiful decor and friendly helpful staff.
Spacious comfy bed room, had great night sleep.
Breakfast was very good, unusual but nice options and variety.
No hot water for shower in the morning, perhaps should have asked for help to fix it but we had to go early.
Very noisy either drinking group in the restaurant and bar.
Lack of seafood choices for my liking.

Could not fault the room. Had been done to a very high standard. Very clean. The hotel interior was stylish.
The dining experience was not the best. Staff were stressed, didn’t make the experience enjoyable. Very overpriced menu, geared towards American tourists. Only a couple of staff members interacted with guests.
Would say improvement is needed. The flowers on the tables were mouldy. Food was average for the price.

This hotel is beautiful! Room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Room even had a view to the river. A short 2 minute walk to the beach. Good breakfast. The restaurant’s mushroom risotto was DELICIOUS, I highly recommend it.
The bathroom door opened inside so it was a bit tight to get in and out. Otherwise the stay was perfect!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Very clean, beautiful decor. Ideal for exploring the Brora area, golfing and beach walking.
Very small room with no view at all, this was a last minute deal so I think the price was reasonable for what we got but I would pay more to have a larger room with a view the next time.

A stunning, homely feel with a professional finish and staff who were so friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond. Rebecca, the Operations Manager deserves a special mention. Her professionalism, manners and work ethic and kindness are second to none. All staff were professional and hard working. A morning piper to start the day made us feel like royalty. Staff are a credit to this stunning hotel. Classy decor, fresh local food, open fires on all day to make the hotel warm and cosy and a room and bed that was do clean and comfortable I didn't want to leave. Haste me back as soon as I can!
Nothing. It was the perfect hotel.

3rd time now staying and nothing has changed as was a great stay as always, food was on point and room was a great size as had the junior suite this visit.
The room I payed for that was advertised on here wasn't available when I arrived on site, but was compensated by the hotel which was appreciated, also room had a huge chip out of sink and there was damage to carpet in room.

Our reception was first class, and throughout our stay the staff were engaging and proactive. Billy, the General Manager, a standout star.
