The hotels appearance was very pleasant with a very clean and professional looking staff behind reception. We wished we had gone to the VU bar and restaurant earlier in our trip. Very clean and very aesthetically pleasant with the terrace offering a fantastic view of the Mersey, and the Liver building.
Bedroom was cleaned daily which was nice.
No way to open any windows, not even to allow fresh air in. Had to use A/C most of the time to get some cool air in the room.
Breakfast was mediocre. Food that was there was nice but there were little choice and they ran out of milk early on for tea or coffee.
Small room followed by a very small bathroom. TV was outdated with few channels. A smart TV with access to streaming would have been nice.

We were offered a corner room and its view was stunning.
The bathroom was small and dated and some bits were needing repaired.

Location and reception team very helpful
Very poor service in bar. Staff give the depression they don't want to be there. Waiting 20 mins for drinks.

The staff were so accommodating as we had 5 little dogs it was great being pet friendly! And the views from this hotel of the docks and liver building were astonishing!

The view of the bay was nice. The location was good, close to the city centre. The beds were comfy.
The TV was not working. The water from the tap in the bathroom was always dripping. They gave us only one small towel for two people, and when I went to ask for an extra one, they didn't even have them. The towels and the bathmat had stains on them. The room wasn't even fully cleaned as there was an empty bottle in the shower. Also the water from the shower was dripping after use. We could hear all the noises from the corridor when people came in. You could not open the window at all. We asked for a room with twin beds and they were joined together with not enough space to move them apart. There was barely any light in the room and one of the bedlights was missing. They gave us only one card for the room and when I asked for an extra one, it didn't work. When I reported that my card didn't work, they changed it for me but then the first card would not work instead. I guess you can't have two cards working at the same time. I would never go to this hotel again, and I don't understand where they got the 4 stars from. It was overpriced for the very poor quality we got.

N_/A think it is over priced
I found the staff at reception to be rude and abrupt they certainly needed some people skill training. Having stayed at this hotel before and did not encounter this i was very disappointed this time. They certainly didn't have the right manner to be the first point of contact for customers

Vriendelijk personeel.
Mooie locatie.

I had a really nice girl called Ella check me in early which was very helpful considering I was there for the Liverpool game and the check in time was from 3!
I had a lovely room which was clean and nicely furnished with a great view of the Liver Building which was just a bonus! I was worried about room temperature but that was a breeze to manage and the bed was very comfy!
I will be definitely being returning to stay there in the future as it was just no faff, lovely, a clean room and good value for money.

I had booked two rooms as I was with friends and they were well located to each other , they were lovely and comfortable and clean. The hotel lounge and reception area were comfortable to whilst waiting for us all to be ready .
One of the lifts was out of order and this proved very slow when trying to get down to the ground floor especially as there were twelve floors.
The heating /air con unit in our room didn’t work to well and we had to get reception to come and sort it .

Good location, and good place for a one night stopover. The staff were helpful and gave great directions to good eating spots.
The breakfast was about dearer and the dinner arrangements weren't communicated well to guests as the venue was booked out.
