Breakfast very good lots of choice cooked well
Vegetarian options at breakfast eg veggie sausage could have been better .
4.3
Clean comfortable and convenient for Leeds centre
We had a room at the front of the building and was noisy from people congregating outside and also coach traffic
4.3
Good location and near the Granery wharf which was a nice surprise .
Bar area very pleasant .
Good location but had trouble locating parking as we arrived from the motorway .Room was too hot as there is no AC and the duvets were winter weight .
4.3
Really comfortable stay. Have already recommended to a friend.
Cleaning staff knocking at 9am to check if they could clean. Check out time was 11 and we weren’t impressed.

The position was great for a function at New Craven Hall.
Good signage, lit up at night to help find hotel.
The breakfast was very good with an extensive choice suiting adults and children.
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating not making an issue of the fact that we had a baby to stay in our room which had not been expected. Provided a cot and high chair with no problems.
The ambience was classy and the bar area great for light lunch, a quick evening meal and drinks.
The bed mattress was solid and the pillows hard. When I asked for softer pillows I discovered that they were in a cupboard labelled spare towels, but even the softer ones were harder than I expected. As the main reason for staying was to get a good night's sleep this was an issue.
The lighting in the room was poor for dressing up and makeup etc for a wedding.
4.3
The breakfast was very comprehensive, and really got us ready for a full day ahead. Loads of different options to choose from, so there's something for every taste.

15 minute walk from the CBD, with a great sized suite for solo or more travellers.
Great bathrooms, and beds, slept like a baby the entire stay!
Housekeeping was polite and thorough, and topped up tea and coffee every day.
Reception was very helpful and polite!
Due to new restaurant construction it was a bit noisy during the day, that was it though!
4.3
Exelent service at the reception! Nice and quiet room.
The fact that I stayed just one night
4.3
Clean and spacious
A few doors slammed during early hours of morning, the double beds are never big enough for 2 people and the quilt was too hot (menopausal lady)
4.3
Ein Hotel auf sehr hohem Niveau.
Fotos aus Leeds geben Zimmern und öffentlichen Bereichen ein wenig persönliche Note.
Wir empfanden den Frühstücksraum als etwas öde.
4.3
Good location, friendly staff. Very good breakfast included in the booking price. An extended "Happy hour" in the bar was an unexpected bonus.
Unfortunately I found the bed too soft for my own tastes. I do however realize that everybody is different.
4.3
Nice room. Nice hotel
4.3
Location is good
Very expensive considering the restaurant was shut and no A/C in rooms, so room is very hot.

The staff were beyond friendly & helpful
The room was quite hot

Friendly and helpful staff always
Always book Clayton’s when visiting family however this occasion the room wasn’t to my liking it seems like it lacked the basic items ie pillows shower caps. The night I stayed the top room made a lot of noise almost like the furniture was being moved - rubbed against the floor around 23:00 which was late ! Usually stay on the highest floors didn’t like my stay on this occasion
4.3
Room size is very good, very comfy beds. All clean. Underground car parking at a charge of GBP 12 per day.
Nothing as such
4.3
comfortable, clean and close to the city centre.
4.3
Great place to stay for visiting Leeds. The staff are very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our needs (we had one guest with additional needs in relation to access and food). We enjoyed the use of the hotel gym followed by a late breakfast, which was consistently good and plentiful regardless of our last minute arrival to the dining room.
We stayed here once before and hope to do so again.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
4.3
Location, very comfortable, friendly staff!
Sadly it was ruined by other guests shouting and slamming doors from 3am-7am
4.3
Clean hotel in a good location and easy parking. Staff were great..
The rooms didn’t have any air con and there was a lot of works going on around the area which I know couldn’t me helped but still noisy…
4.3
Good size room… bed was really comfortable!
Hotel bar open late!
You have to pay for parking at the hotel so, can be very costly if staying a few nights on top of room price!
Shower in room could do with an upgrade!
Self serve breakfast was cold…. otherwise a good selection of food…. Staff should ask guests if they’re finished with breakfast , removing breakfast plates without asking…
4.3
Great location, staff very pleasant and attentive, excellent breakfast, good bar with reduced drinks prices early friday between 4-8pm which is welcome. Parking at hotel and reasonable at £12 per night.
Bathroom needs refurbishment, looking tired; poor shower control, fighting for constant water temperature, smelt of drains at times.
Bedroom, again ready for a refurbishment but was spacious and comfortable
4.3
Value for money and price comments due to high price because of cricket and booked last minute.
4.3
All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly, professional and welcoming.
Toiletries in bathroom were very basic - hair and body wash attached to the wall.

I have stayed once before at the Clayton and stayed this time for my daughter’s graduation. The rooms are very clean, towels and bedding of good quality and the room well equipped. Staff were very helpful. Access to the motorways is very good.
Unfortunately there were roadworks outside my window and I was on a busy traffic junction. However, this didn’t affect my sleep too much and could not be helped. The hotel is not right in the centre of the city but I knew that. It’s a 15-20 minute walk into centre of Leeds. Again, I knew this when booking. The hotel location has great motorway access.
