If you want a bum hotel trying to be amazing in the city location stay here

Good area, great location in the centre of Leeds. Staff were lovely

There is hardly any room to move about in the actual rooms. There is no storage space for any of your belongings. Just a slight hole next to the bed. No where to store anything in the bathroom. There was only one towel so we had to ask for more. The floors were dirty as I was there for 2 hours wearing white socks and the bottoms were black. The shower head hardly worked. The water didn’t come out of shower head properly most of the water just came out of the connection bit. There was live wires hanging out of the bed. The WiFi didn’t work for most of our stay and the staff wasn’t entirely truthful about it getting fixed. We were only given two rolls of toilet roll for a 3 day stay with two people in the room. There was dust everywhere, you could see it piled up on the toilet flushed and the taps. Trying to flush the toilet was ridiculous, we nearly broke our fingers because it wouldn’t work. When we had a shower loads of tissue came up from the drain which made us not get back into the shower for our stay. The sink wouldn’t hold water it automatically drained away even when the plug was down. The rooms wallpaper was being worn off the wall because everyone can’t move around and have to be up against the wall to even get anywhere. In the bathroom the no more nails or whatever it’s called hadn’t been put down properly. It’s all coming away from the floor and the walls in multiple areas

Below average.

The bed, the air con/fan

Everything else, no table, kettle, drinking water, no space, see through toilets, no door on the toilet where locks would be a luxury, we only had 1 card key and when I had to go out the room lights would turn off, a very stupid system. The constant banging of people walking on the above floor but luckily that calmed down after I complained about it.

Abysmal

The air conditioning once I figured out how to use it.

The room was like a prison cell, so small. Paid extra for a window only for it to be a brick wall & the window couldn't open. The TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night. The mattress was hard & so were the pillows. There was zero privacy in the bathroom as it didn't lock & it was glass, no where to put the used towel from a sink wash as the shower head attachment was broken & the head was resting on the broken attachment when we arrived.

Leeds Central basic hotel

Excellent location. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Clean It's a small very basic room, beds are comfortable and extra pillows provided.

No table or hanging space in the room. Could do with some hooks adding to the coat rack or more space behind the coat rack to hang hangers. A small table in the room would be useful.

Sufficiently clean and value for money

Clean room with a good location and at a good rate. Although the rooms are quite small, this was more than enough for a solo traveller on a one night stay. Entrance to the hotel, relevant floor and room are accessible only by hotel card.

It would be nice if taxis were able to drop off outside the hotel later at night.

Always clean and just easy. Good location for the first direct arena, bus station and train station.

Good location, very clean.

Very noisy air-conditioning unit (rattling, gurgling, more than just background noise), much too noisy to use at night and no way of opening window. Was expecting a small room, but could only just squeeze past bottom and side of bed, not a problem for us, but might be for less mobile people.

Would never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever!

Location. Nothing else

Smelled like urine from the lift to the bedroom. Staff did not inform us that the car park closed until 6 am - even when we told them we were leaving at 3 am with our car to catch a 6:30 am flight - ended up having to buy a whole new flight. Check in lady was nice but all others were weird and grumpy

Get what you pay for

I got what I paid for simple and cheap the staff was brilliant I thought it would be ideal for the 1 night but I was wrong nothing against the hotel it was all my doing but I wouldn't say it was small child friendly

The beds were hard and the pillows weren't great but you get what you pay for won't be stopping there again for the next hospital visit as it wasn't small child friendly. The bathroom was adequate but small my 3-year-old was too little to be on her own in the shower and also too big for one of the adults to shower her which made it very difficult.

Location is great with a discount parking for £6.50 24hour just two minutes away!

Very small room ,and had to pay another £7.00 for a window which was small and no view and couldn't open it ! having said this I have used it before and would use it again

Simple does not begin to describe this tiny room with no clean towels for a week.

For a hotel booked last minute it was relatively affordable for its location. The staff were friendly.

I was not prepared for the cramped nature of the room. This should be made clearer before booking. Also, if you want to be like Pod Hotels or CabInn, you need to make your rooms like theirs. Figure out how to arrange a small space efficiently and pleasantly. Also, the absence of any cleaning in the week we were there would be fine, if the new towels we requested were brought and the trash emptied. We left the bin and towels outside, but came home to the same mess.

Poor

Easy check-in and check-out, given fresh towels and pillows when requested. Shouldn't have needed to request extra towels...

Literally couldn't walk around the bed. It may as well have been against the wall to make more room. What is the point? ONE large towel provided for a double room - no hand towel (fair enough) but we're expected to share one bath towel between two people??? Two - yes TWO coat hangers and nowhere at all to store luggage. Bathroom not really clean, not to the point where we would complain but not ideal (toilet seat and shower not properly cleaned). Understand it's a budget hotel but if we had suitcases we literally would not have had room to move!!! Literally nowhere to get dressed. As a side note, the en-suite toilet situation is far from ideal - no full door means that any heavenly scents spread throughout the room in seconds and linger for hours as there is no extract fan to scoop that kitty litter smell away.

good location, comfy beds, nice facilities

I left a scarf in the hotel (which I completely take responsibility for), I realised a couple of hours after checking out and when I informed the hotel, they said the housekeeping team didn’t find a scarf. I know exactly where it was left but they still maintained they didn’t find anything
