Comfortable , and affordable

It meet all my requirements during my stay . The house keeping was very good . My room was cleaned regularly . Food was good .staff very helpful. The check in was quick and I was helped by a staff member to take my luggage to my room .

The breakfast wad lovely , but on one occasion I ordered full English breakfast on arrival the bake beans was cold , I made this know to my server.

FULL ENGLISH - man muss es mögen :-(als Deutscher)

Gute Lage in unmittelbarer U-Bahn Nähe. Kostenfreier Parkplatz. Lage in der äußeren Umweltzone - Euro 6 Autos müssen nichts bezahlen [Stand Mai 2024]. Supermarkt und einige Take-Aways fußläufig in der Nähe.

Das Haus ist 1947 gebaut - und so geblieben, bis auf nachgerüsteten Feueralarm usw. Es gibt nur englisches Frühstück, nix kontinentales, keinen Käse, keine Marmelade, kein Müsli, kein Joghurt usw. Im Flur waren Eimer aufgestellt, die Tropfwasser vom Dach auffangen sollten. Das Essen (Frühstück und Restaurant / Abend) ist geschmacksneutral, man kann es mit 3 Saucen sowie Pfeffer und Salz aufwerten.

Personal bol velmi mily, napomocny. Izby ciste, kuchyna chutna a lokalita perfektna. Pacil sa nam program cez vikend. V hotely sa uskutocnuje vela aktivit.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful but pub and rooms need some TLC.

The full English on the first day was just about passable. No cereals, fruit or pastries offered.

Noisy first night as there was a function in the pub. Our window looked out onto the main road so quite a bit of road noise plus from the drinkers outside. We were told that renovation work was taking place in two rooms. No noise as such but a bad odour wafted in on the second morning of our stay. Our room and the corridors leading to it are tired and rather rundown.

Warm, cosy & friendly... an ideal base for visiting London

Cosy warm & welcoming place to stay. Very good location for visiting London. 2 minutes from the tube station. The rooms are clean & of a good standard. All the staff are so friendly and will go above & beyond to make your stay the best possible experience. Bar food is good and the choice of breakfasts is wide and accommodating. I can highly recommend & would stay again if visiting London. Car parking is free on site but remember to register your vehicle on arrival.

Check in could be improved simply by having a point at the base of the staircase separate from the pub.

Gorgeous pub, beautiful rooms, great food.

gorgeous pub with a lovely hotel on top, we was really surprised at how gorgeous the rooms are.

There was nothing to dislike, excellent room, service and staff were lovely, I think the gentleman that looked after us was Matt, he was lovely.

I have stayed at The Railway on several occasions now and this is by far, my best visit. From the moment I checked in the staff were, polite, professional and very friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent and far exceeded my expectations. After my night out, I returned to a large, comfortable bed, where I slept like a log. I awoke relaxed, refreshed and after a very satisfying shower I went downstairs to a hearty cooked breakfast.

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about my stay. I could not find fault with anything.

Weekend trip

The room was a lovely size and nice and warm and great location for the train station. The breakfast was lovely. We didn't have evening meal but the food seemed to be reasonably priced
