The Sasa Safari Camp is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Thus, the infrastructure is a little lacking, there is only limited electricity (hairdryer won't work) and the water for the showers is heated with a wood fire, so you have to anounce some time before, when you want to shower. The rooms have a rough charme, but are quite comfortable. The landscape is just beautiful. The dinner was very good and more than enough. The personal was fabulous, we had a very nice evening and morning with them. It was the best stay we had in our Namibia holiday!

Ruhig. Liebevoll dekoriert. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Freundliches Personal. Traumhafte Aussicht. Gutes Essen.
Furchtbare Betten. Sehr schlecht. Unfassbar. Extrem hart. Starke Schmerzen überall.
Toilette zu niedrig. Kinderhöhe. Inakzeptabel.
Keine Tür zum Bad. Keine Privatsphäre. Sehr unangenehm.
Kein normales Angebot an Strom im Zimmer. Solar. Dadurch Problem mit medizinischem Gerät.

La camera familiare molto spaziosa e curata in ogni particolare... Possibilità di cucinare in autonomia.
Posto assolutamente rilassante e silenzioso.

Easy to find and close to Outja. Nice view from the deck. Dogs and cats were sweet. The staff in the kitchen were helpful.
I was confused and didn't realise we'd paid for dinner and breakfast. Although they did say they thought we'd booked for dinner it was confusing because an email was sent before we arrived asking if we'd like dinner which is what made me think we hadn't paid for it. Perhaps they could have pointed that out to us with more conviction. There was a strange chemical maybe sewerage smell that came and went which wasn't pleasant. There was no kettle in the room so you had to order and pay for each cup of tea/coffee. Generally tea etc. and a kettle is in the room. The rooms are really small.

The pictures online do not do this place justice. The location is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the hosts are extremely friendly. The highlight of the stay was the pool with the incredible view and the fire pit used to cook our dinners.
There were two things that could have been better:
Firstly, the water pressure in the showers. However, based on the fact that it is located in the middle of nowhere, running water is already great.
Secondly, the plugs in the rooms. USB plugs were provided, but I recommend bringing adapters for the Namibian plugs.

We did not book breakfast online but we were offered it at check in at a great price and it was delicious! We got delayed on the road and arrived late but the check in process was very smooth. The family chalet has two bedrooms and a common area. The bedrooms each have two single beds and a sofa that folds into a single bed. The common area had coffee and tea and a comfortable table to have a late night treat. The pictures don’t do it enough justice, it far exceeded all expectations!!
We booked a double bed chalet but the bathroom was not nearly as well-kept or clean as the family chalet. Since we were all family, the members of the double chalet opted to shower in our family chalet and just sleep back in theirs. It was a comfortable stay otherwise.

The pool was great and all staff below management was great. The dinner and breakfast was very nice
The manager are really not polite and the beds smelled terrible. The lock on the one door was not working and we could not get proper assistance. The ventilation in the room was provided through a small window as it was the only one without holes in the mesh

nothing at all… honestly I feel like that I wasted my money.. for wifi and to charge your phone, you have to pay additional money
They lied about location. on the map, the location was showing on the corner of highway but it was literally 3 km inside in the form without any visible road. I will never recommend to anyone to stay there and waste their money.

The owners and staff were very kind and helfpful. Our family bungalow was very spacious and offered a spectacular view at the surrounding rocks. Breakfast and diner were very good. Wifi came with a small extra charge but coverage was excellent everywhere on the property.
The owners have 4 dogs. This was a bit of a downside for our daughters because the animals didn't always get along. Unique location and a very good stay but overall a little bit overpriced compared to other stays on our trip.

We've spent to nights at Sasa Safari Camp, the first night we stayed in the bungalow which I would not recommed. We asked to move to the double rooms which were so much better since they looked more new, clean and with plugs. The breakfast (included in the price) was splendid. The staff is really helpful, they can answer your questions about Namibia to help you to plan your trip. Etosha is one hour from the camp.
The bungalow was quite cold, with no plugs, and everything inside the room looked old and not clean. Because of their location there's only hot water in the evening, not in the morning. There are many dogs which could be a "problem" if you're not really into dogs.

Unfortunately the negative experience overpowered the view.
The property was filthy with bathroom grimy and toilet full of last customer's waste, dogs at property flea and tick ridden poor things,, bin outside full of rubbish and flies, garden covered in dog poo and puppies vomiting into pool.
Staff left for 4 hours so we struggled getting a drink, owners arrived but ignored us, dinner served outside with dogs in dark and half way through staff crawled under table to spray dogs with flea spray so we abandoned the meal.
Poor lighting in room and no appliance allowed and no hot water, for £84 a night (top end for namibia)we expected loads better, inadequate locks with only grill secure, dogs barked all night so our last night in this beautiful country ruined.
When we went to Reception to check out there was dog poo inside. We told the girl bit she shrugged and said I don't like dogs.

Nothing really apart from the view being beautiful
Chalet was dirty. We found toilets UN flushed still containing previous guests’s use. Garbage cans filled with previous guests dirt. No amenities eg shower gels, body wash etc. No toilet paper. Very dusty and clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. Bedding also not clean nor fresh. Over priced for dirty facility

The friendly staff, good food, tranquility, views on the huge boulders, bird life and proximity to Etosha.

As I have a diet it is not so easy to prepare the food for me, but Fabiola did a wonderful job. Remembering the late queen of Belgium we called her our Queen Fabiola!
