Best gite we have stayed in.

Rural location a short drive from shops and restaurants in Bayeux. We didn’t mind this but it may not suit everyone. We loved the gorgeous bed linen! It is a lovely gite in a very pretty village and we would happily stay here again.

Nothing apart from the cockerill who insisted on acting as an alarm at 4am! But that is rural life.

Valerie was an outstanding hostess. She thinks of everything and is a wonderful communicator. the breakfast was wonderfu

loved the location, the property was adorable. The home was clean, and comfortable, and decorated beautifully. Valerie was a fabulous host. Her breakfasts were a feast!

Its reachable by a taxi in a few short minutes from town, but multiple trips add up. It’s the perfect destination if you have rented a car. This isn’t a dislike, hopefully just helpful information!

this is a very special place. the property is beautiful, comfortable, clean — our room had been beautifully renovated. There is room to relax in the room or out in the yard — there’s even a ping pong table and soccer ball outside for recreation. The hostess is warm and welcoming and helpful. she also served a delicious breakfast — be sure to try her homemade jams with your croissant. and the location is perfect — close to bayeux but not too close, and in a nice small nearby town with its own rich history. I highly recommend this bed n breakfast!

Lovely, peaceful stay in Normandy

The space was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the common spaces as well. The location was very convenient to many different sites and short trips in Normandy. Valerie could not have been more kind, welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay.

It was our first bed and breakfast and boy- it did not disappoint. We stayed in the Mathilda room and it was perfect for my husband and I and two teenage daughters. The room had a reading nook, small living area and a loft for an additional bed. The big surprise was how big the bathroom was and it actually had a shower glass door that closed all the way and not the typical half glass enclosure you see in European bathrooms. Our absolute favorite thing is the breakfast served. Valerie served breakfast in a cute breakfast area. Amazing croissants and French bread from the local bakery, homemade apricot and strawberry jam, local yogurt and of course- coffee. The grounds were amazing too. The gardens were meticulously cared for. Will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the Normandy area.

Great base for visits to Bayeux and the landing beaches

Nice, modern and comfortable gite in a quiet village, 8 min drive from the wonderful town of Bayeux. Well equipped. Everything was clean. Good bed. Excellent host (Valerie). We had a wonderful stay and certainly hope to come back!

High quality stay!

Great and beautiful place with a lot of atmosphere. Lovely details and great hostess. Nice fresh breakfast with local foods included. Great location to explore the area full of history. Bayeux is very nice too.

This is a gem 💎

Lovely B&B in the quiet countryside near the Normandy beaches. Valérie did a very good job decorating the place and she made us feel at home immediately. We stayed at Chambre Mathilde which is a studio (spotless, I might add) and it was perfect for my family with two kids. The breakfast was delicious. Simple but very tasty with local food and homemade jams. The big and peaceful garden was great for the kids to play. Kids or no kids, I would recommend this place to anybody.

Beautiful place to explore Normandy.

Very comfortable and clean room on a beautiful house, located just minutes from Bayeux. Perfect location to explore Normandy. Ample place for parking and playing if you travel with young kids. Valerie, the owner, was very friendly at all times and did her best to make us feel at home and pleased.

The common areas can be expanded, i.e with a family room to watch TV or rest outside of the room. TV needs stations in English for non french speaking guests.
