Cool co-living arrangement with shared kitchen etc. Solid hub from which to explore the area.

Some distance from downtown centro, but Liked the co-living vibe here! It’s around the corner from a great coffeehouse called Voltaire’s. Good healthy walk to downtown so conducive to pleasure and healthy movement.

Maurizio är en trevlig värd, gav oss tips om vart vi kunde åka till exempel Hacienda Mucyho cenotes helt underbart och att det fanns tvättmaskin på boendet det var värt mycket. Att rekommendera med andra ord.

Lite slitna kastruller och stekpanna skulle behövas uppdaterad

Come a casa

Sentirsi subito come a casa! Esperienza perfetta, Maurizio il proprietario estremamente disponibile già da prima del mio arrivo, la stanza è grande così come il bagno tutto perfetto! Ho dormito meravigliosamente ogni notte! Zona tranquilla ma con una breve passeggiata si raggiunge il centro, il posto perfetto per vivere Merida! Assolutamente consigliato, grazie ancora!

Great accommodation with every facility. Highly recommend.

Large spacious room, clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was good and hot. Great kitchen facilities and outdoor space. The use of a washing machine and drying rack was an added bonus. Would highly recommend. Very quiet.

Nothing really but if you like to be in the centre of things this may not be for you. It was about a 10/15 minute walk to the nearest shop and a little further to the restaurants.

Great stay

Very spacious and clean, nice rooftop terrace to hang out and a well equipped kitchen that was one of the cleanest we have seen during our travel. Another big plus was the water pressure in the shower. Free laundry was available as well!

Bonita y cómoda casa

Habitación enorme con cama extra grande , cuarto de baño muy grande .Todo muy limpio . Se puede aparcar en la calle al lado de la casa. La casa tiene 5 habitaciones distribuidas en 2 plantas y las dos habitaciones superiores tienen una cómoda terraza con mesa y sillas .Dispone de cocina con zona de nevera asignada para la habitación ,,lavadora ,...Ubicado en una zona tranquila

Quizá que no está tan cerca del centro como para ir andando ,es un paseo de unos 15 /20 minutos .

A lovely place to stay in Merida!

Absolutely loved staying here. Maurizio was on hand by WhatsApp to answer any questions. We were worried because it was so much cheaper than any other accommodation around and although the rooms are basic, you cannot argue with the price. The shower was great, the air con worked well and the shared facilities (fridge/plates etc) were great. The room was really big too and we used the washing machine to clean our clothes after a week in Mexico. Only a short walk to the more central places in Merida and we walked home (often at 1/2am) and felt super safe.

Mi sono sentita a mio agio come se fossi a casa!

Stanza ampia e comoda in un quartiere tranquillo, poco lontano dal centro che si raggiunge facilmente a piedi. Oltre ad una stanza particolarmente grande c'era a disposizione una cabina armadio ed un comodo e spazioso bagno. Lavatrice e ferro da stiro a disposizione degli ospiti! WiFi gratuito, cucina in comune dotata di tutte le comodità che si può liberamente utilizzare. Non ho incontrato personalmente l'host che comunque era facilmente contattabile telefonicamente e sempre superdisponibile, davvero gentile e sempre presente!

Really good and easy place where everything works well.

It’s a peaceful, lovely and clean place: everything works the way it should and we had a really relaxing time there. Staff look after the place really well. The shared kitchen is well organised and spacious. There is not direct contact with staff, but all information needed was forthcoming and easy to communicate.

Maurizio the host was professional and very pleasant. He was very responsive and very good to us. It's pretty cool there are two fridges divided by rooms so there is no confusion.

There were only two channels on the TV because they were constantly cutting out but most of the time we were on our phones so it's no big deal at all

Very good value for money compared to other options in Merida. Good facilities, including the very necessary air conditioning and a shared kitchen for cooking. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The shared kitchen could have been cleaned more frequently as it wasn’t the cleanest. A bit of a walk to most places (15 mins ish) but at least it felt like a safe area.

This was the absolute best value for money so far in Mexico in this price range. The property is very clean and the rooms too. Shower works (and has pressure). We also really liked the kitchen where we could cook for ourselves. I recommend this place!

There are some ants in the kitchen area sometimes and we saw a cockroach too. But nothing critical. Still this could be cleared up bu putting some solution in that area permanently and you’ll never see a bug again.

lots of ants and cockroaches as the doors and walls aren’t sealed properly, made the property feel unclean. A bit far from the centre for us (20 minute walk)

Really great

Very spacious room with complete privacy from the rest of the rooms and private bathroom inside, way better than what we expected, the common room was very big as well with a fully equipped kitchen. Access to shared laundry machine too!

The last day we really struggled with ants - they were everywhere and since the bed was very low (very nice aesthetic) they were all over the sheets. The location was not too bad considering Merida is big but we had to walk 20 mins to the center.

Friendly and helpful host. Stayed there for 7 nights. Nice, spacious and quiet room with a terrace. Clean and well equiped kitchen. Very good price-performance ratio. Than you very much!!!

Do not take Oriente Buses to Celestun! It took us 2 hrs and 45 min. twice, because these buses stop in very little village and there at each corner. They just lie to you by saying it takes 1 hr and 40 min.

Excellent communication from the owner. super comfortable bed, great air con and huge double sink bathroom. Bedding and towels were clean, as was the entire property. Nice to have an outside seating space. Quiet area.

No hot water and there’s not much in the way of shops or restaurants in the immediate area. not a problem if your travelling as a couple/pair but I didn’t want to walk far at night on my own. that said…..I would stay here again

Everithing was fajn, we spent wonderful days there. Room was clean and big. In the accomodation is everithing what you need for your vacation. Location is top because it is near the best restaurations in Merida. 😉

Washing machine! Instructions to get into property very thorough. Room was clean.

Kitchen facilities were not ideal. There were three coffee makers, one of which just didn't work and the other two too filthy for us to want to try. Also some weird and confusing corona rules, including only using plates and cutlery from our designated cupboard...which had no spoons. Eating soup with a fork was interesting, :-) Got bitten by mosquitoes in kitchen area a lot anyway. Guests weren't supposed to flush loo roll in the toilet, which is understandable, but then a bin with a lid and opaque bin bag would have been nice (as would a spare roll of toilet paper), or instructions where we could take out our rubbish.

Helpful staff when we locked our keys in the room. Spacious bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

The room doesn't exactly look like the photos. It's much older. It's quite dark, no windows. It's not very central to town. There wasn't drinking water available on the first night. Hot water in the shower lasts about 2mins.

A hidden gem in Merida

The property was beautiful, very clean and quiet. Love the common kitchen area that has everything you need. The room was big and very comfortable, AC worked great! We slept very well after a long day walking in Merida. Good location - very central and walking distance to many attractions in Merida, the ADO bus stop is about 20 minutes walk. Mauricio was very kind and helpful with our needs; he response fast and very attentive when we accidentally locked our key in the room! Thank you again!

Everything and especially some little details such as the potable water, the washing machine, etc. We had everything we needed for our stay and we felt like home. Maurizio was very kind and friendly.

We had another guest which made a lot of noise, especially during the night. But it's not the fault of the guest house.

Location was great, as walking distance to most places we wanted to go. The room was better than expected with some nice thoughtful touches, and we appreciated drinking water being always freely available. We met the host on the last day, who came across as warm and genuine and even found a couple of things we had forgotten in the room including cash and returned it to us! Can't recommend this stay enough

Great stay!

The owner is really helpful. I have gotten his number and he responded very quickly. The rooms were comfy and there is free laundry service. Location is nice and quiet. Just a 10-15 minute walk to the city center.

Keypad entry, rooftop room view, WASHING MACHINE with detergent (a big plus), Maurizio called me an Uber when time to leave, i didn"t use the kitchen but it had everything including drinking water

Not really a complaint. The location is a quiet residential neighborhood, I am older (76) and travel alone so I would prefer to have more restaurants and shops a little closer
