It is far from city center but reachable in 20 mins. 10 people for two bathrooms, you have to queue to use the toilet facilities.

Ann was very welcoming, friendly, such a lovely woman. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom super clean and modern. Tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Great price.
I would definitely stay there again.
A bar and restaurant downstairs too.

the room was very spacious. and spotless clean

Ann who was in charge of the property was a great host and gave us some good tips. Place is very clean and close to train station and a 10 min journey to city centre.
4.1
Special mention for Annie who contacted me on a couple of occasions before the trip to check on potential time of arrival and I was clear on checking in process and she made sure the room was nicely prepared for my stay. The location was a convenient stopp off for the open golf which was the purpose of the trip
Noise from traffic. Being above a place called Dracula's may not appeal to all, but fear not the staff seemed friendly enough and whilst I didn't eat, the food seemed appealing.

Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable and the owner was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend visiting

There was some music at the restaurant downstairs. The music went on till 1am.

Anne the host is very friendly and can’t do enough for you

Host called me within a few minutes of the booking. Gave me directions to the property and where to park. Enquired about arrival times as at certain time advised keys would be in the restaurant rather than someone on the hotel receiption. Room was very clean and smart. Corridors all well maintained. Tea & coffee in the room and a water fountain in the hallway. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Beds were comfy.
No issues at all. I dont think there is a lift so this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. But nice hotel run by nice people.

Lovely friendly welcome. Comfortable, clean rooms.

Me and a friend stayed here just last weekend, our main reason for visiting Liverpool was to go to a booked event in Liverpool centre.
From the moment we got there Anne was an absolute diamond making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms & bathrooms were modern & upto date.
The train station is literally a stone throw away but not once did we hear the trains in our room. It’s a maybe 8 minute train ride to Liverpool central. There is a 24hr McDonald’s literally next door.
We had food in the restaurant downstairs. I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our food it was beautiful. And very well priced.
I cannot honestly find a single issue with our stay here and we definitely will be back.
Thank you to Anne and everyone else who made it such a good stay. See you all again
Absolutely nothing

Refurbished rooms and bathrooms gave The Prince Alfred a new lease of life. Looked more appealing, fresher and modern which showed in the joy on Anne's face as she showed us around.
Yet again, Anne was fantastic.....going above and beyond as always
Nothing

The previous reviews on this property have said it all. Great room and even though my room was on the street side the glazing is superb as there was hardly any noise from a busy main road. Facilities were good and the bathrooms (2) were clean and tidy. I didn't actually meet Ann but had a very friendly welcome call from her during the day.
However, I don't want to appear picky but have to question the property listing as a bed and breakfast as breakfast is not served on the premises. It is also quite confusing about where to get breakfast as in one part of the process it states that breakfast can be booked through the restaurant below prior to arrival, yet in another part of the process it states that breakfast can be found at a facility 100m away! One photo shows the property with the Dracula Restaurant below, another shows it with Frattelli Restaurant below. I think some clarity is required please as I missed breakfast completely.
On the subject of the Dracula restaurant, it is a Romanian themed restaurant with a good range of both traditional Romanian and other quality dishes. You'd better be hungry.

Being close to the city was the good thing I could say about my experience, and what an experience it was...
OK where to start, how about the fact that the rooms were above a pub which had extremely Lound music which didn't stop until midnight. Being on a very busy round the music was soon replaced by the traffic...
No parking facilities, the shower didn't work.
Being there for 2 nights I would have expected someone to come in and clean the rooms or at least empty the bins, and to replenish the tea and coffee especially given what I paid.
Had I read the comments on trip advisor, I certainly wouldn't have booked this place nor would I recommend it.

How friendly the Lady was. She was very accommodating, polite and friendly.
The rooms were lovely and clean.
The metal stairs when you've had a drink can be a challenge. But other than that it was lovely

lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming
room could be a little warmer, though the lovely land lady tried with electric heater

Clean spacious room with good facilities on sight. Nothing amazing but for a cheap place to get your head down for the night it was very good! Cheap and cheerful but that’s exactly what I wanted and that’s what I got. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing to complain about.

The hotel was clean and tidy, no thrills but did the job. we just needed a place to sleep, nothing fancy.
I have read a number of complaints on Booking.com about the noise from the pub down stairs. The music was obnoxiously loud and felt like a speaker was in the room. The music was so basey and loud. This music carried on until about 01:30 in the morning. I tried to contact the hotel owner with no joy. Reports from the owner on booking.com say the noise issue has been resolved but it clearly hasn’t. I got very little sleep.
I wouldn’t book this hotel for a weekend if you want some sleep at a reasonable hour.
I also didn’t know where to put the keys as we left, so I put them in the glass fruit bowl by the front entrance
