I arrived exhausted after five flights and 21 hours in the air to find my luggage was missing. The team at Friends welco

It is an older smaller hotel full of interesting spaces and art making it feel like I was at home or really staying with friends. A tasty breakfast was served on rooftop with with views over city and statue of Virgin of the Panecillo on hill. Location was perfect for exploring on foot with easy access to tourist attractions shops and a wide choice of restaurants.

Pérfect. Couldnt have asked for a better place

Breakfast was wholesome scrumptious and everyday a different menu with fruits, fresh juice, eggs and local delights The view from the rooftop breakfast area is simply fantastic The staff is extremely helpful and gracious. The rooms have been made very comfortable . Loved the traditonal charm of this beautiful place

This has taken me the longest to answer . Really cannot think of anything!

An excellent place

The location is excellent. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast is AMAZING. The view from the terrace is awesome. I was made to feel very comfortable.

It was quite noisy at times, but nothing earplugs couldn't help with.

I definitely recommend the hotel and I would definitely book again

First of all the staff.The Lady in the reception is one of the best i met ever,really smily and helpful in addition the guys in the restaurant.Great breakfast including variety dishes different every day .The location is ideal for tourists.

Einmal und nie wieder, weis nicht wo die guten Bewertungen her kommen .

Die Lage

Hatte ein Zimmer in den Innenhof, es spielte den ganzen Tag Musik und man hörte jedes Wort was gesprochen wurde . Und wenn sehr früh morgens Hotelgäste aus gecheckt haben, war die Nacht vorbei. Die Plätze auf der Terrasse für das Frühstück sind viel zu wenig, so das alles besetzt war, es war auch ersichtlich das Gäste fertig waren mit Frühstück, aber das Personal hat sie nicht gebeten für die wartenden aufzustehen , war nicht der einzigste dem es so erging und ich dann auswärts Frühstücken gegangen bin .

Oldy but goodie

The house is a charming 300+ year old house. It has great staff, tours and breakfast. The location is perfect to walk around. The top of the hotel has an amazing view and a Quito sign.

It is an old house, so you can hear a lot of noises, specially from the street. Water pressure is very low.

Nicht noch einmal !

Die Lage

Es war nicht möglich mit Kreditkarte zu bezahlen obwohl es bei Booking.com so eingestellt ist . Dann war das Zimmer 119 so extrem hellhörig im Atrium,dass die Musik, welche den ganzen Tag lief, alles im Zimmer zu hören war und die Gespräche im Erdgeschoss und das Abreißen der Gäste in den frühen Morgenstunden auch.Leider ist der Bereich beim Frühstück zu klein für das Hotel, sodas ich dann außerhalb gefrühstückt habe , wollte ja nicht ne halbe Std warten bis ein Tisch vielleicht fei wird . Wenn das Zimmer so beschrieben wurde wäre , dann könnte man ja drüber hinwegsehen aber das war’s nicht und es war nicht gerade billig .

Zentral und freundlich

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer war ok, Frühstück war super, Lage auch super wenige Gehminuten zur Fußgängerzone, Geschäfte/Restaurants alles in der Nähe, gute Einweisung durch Mitarbeiter, sichere Umgebung.

Stay here is you are going to Quito!!!

Great place to stay! Everyone these was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast each day was delicious. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and even made some special tea for my husband the one morning he wasn’t feeling good. The walking tour was very informative. Special thanks to Yale and Ethal!

Boutique hotel in convenient location. Very helpful staff.

Loction was very convenient for exploring the old town. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was very pleasant and the food was tasty and more than enough.

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Team

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war sehr lecker, das Panorama war toll. Leider war es die letzte Nacht in Quito, das Hotel wäre auch für mehrere Tage eine gute Option. Auch Englisch wird gesprochen, das ist sicher für viele Gäste ein Plus.

Nettes, sicheres Hotel in guter Altstadtlage

Gute Lage in der Altstadt. Super freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Gute Serviceangebote vom Hotel (Führungen, Fahrer etc.) Schöne Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken. Sicheres Gefühl, Rezeption immer besetzt. Nachts ruhig.

Perfect stay in Quito. The managers were so helpful. I loved the walking tour.

I loved it all. I loved the rooftop breakfast area. I loved the table outside downstairs. I loved the location. The staff were very helpful. I hope I go to Quito again so I can stay at Friends!

Cute historic hotel near center of Old Town

The location right near the Grand Plaza. This is a renovated historical building with many charming historic features. But that also comes with the challenges of renovating a 300-year-old building. Each room is unique. Ours was tiny but had a spectacular view of Quito which made up for the size. The shower was excellent and the room was very clean. We loved the breakfast and the breakfast terrace with views over the city.

Because this is a renovated historic building, the rooms were rather awkward in shape and limited in amenities. The furniture was a bit old. It was not a big problem, but our room was on the third floor and we had just flown into Quito at 10,000 ft elevation. The walk upstairs took the wind out of us for the first day or so.

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Quito

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Quito. Rénovation magnifique. Chambre tres agreable, spacieuse et bien équipée. Superbe vue depuis le 4eme etage sur Quito de nuit. Personnel tres serviable et agreable. Tres bonne communication. Je recommande les yeux fermés.
