No lo recomiendo en lo absoluto, pésimo servicio e instalaciones

No me gusto la atención personas despotas en recepción llegando habían ratas y les hice conocimiento a la recepción y me ignoraron al día siguiente baje al restaurante por que incluía desayuno gratis y me dicen que no pueden darme el desayuno que había que ir hacer el trámite en recepción para que pudieran darme el desayuno me dedico a viajar y es el primer hotel que me solicitan que vaya a tramitar el desayuno gratis es molesto que te hagan dar vueltas teniendo la posibilidad de dar acceso ellos al restaurante

Un lugar para dormir y nada más

Nada, la habitación súper básica El desayuno paupérrimo. La atención del personal mucho muy deficiente y siempre pegados al celular. Me pareció muy peligroso el elevador porque cerraba muy rápido, 2 veces me prensó y al subir o bajar el nivel del piso quedaba arriba o abajo, me da la impresión de que requiere mantenimiento

La atención….. Me pareció que estaban por estar, nada esmerados. En el restaurante, lo mismo. No quisieron servir porque no teníamos un pase de la recepción, pero nunca dijeron que había que pedirla ni tampoco la ofrecieron, decidí mejor buscar un restaurante en los alrededores.Aunque el ambiente exterior se siente agradable, también se percibe como viejo, descuidado, el lugar

Las habitaciones son muy amplias, tiene buena ubicación ya que está cercano al centro

Wifi ☹️ i never got signal and I was here for work. I was on 5fh floor and I have to go downstairs to get signal and even there weak 😢 unfortunately that is 80% important for me.

Ok for 1 night, request a soft pillow.

Location is great, and facilities are fine for the price.

The beds were hard and pillows same a 🪨 rock. Not good. Breakfast was given only to the 2 asults and not to the kids which were mentioned at time of renting the room. The a la carta food was bland for the price. Coffee waa burn.

The location was central to the main plaza (about two blocks down and one block over). The AC worked well. There is a nice, central garden and the small pool goes to a depth of 2.5 meters. The hotel is kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's very safe.

It is a little out-dated, but that was fine with us. The pictures of the exterior might make you believe it was built in the last 10 years. The hotel was actually built in the late 60s or early 70s. The bathroom is somewhat tight. The WIFI is very unreliable. Also, the breakfast is definitively 'continental'. Some pictures they've posted might make you believe it contains protein. That's not the case. It's toast, coffee, juice or a plate of sliced fruit, and cold cereal with milk. There is a small produce and flowers market a block away that offers simple breakfasts if that's what you'd prefer.

Price...that's it...

Breakfast was "included" but they gave us 1/5 of bananas and some classic cereal. That's it. Basically we had to have breakfast in another place. So we pay it for nothing. They said us that we could change money (euros pesos) only the day after, so we waited and the day after they said they couldn't do it anymore. (We could plan in another way if they had told us in advance). No professional at all.... Air conditioner in the room too cold. No possibility to adjust the temperature. Inside was freezing and outside there were 40° (104° F).

Filthy, dishonest,nasty all the worst you can think of.

Nothing, nothing at all. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in all my years of traveling. Organized thieves, the whole staff. Police should investigate.

They could have not broken into my suitcase and stole my money. I'm not alone, read the other reviews. I count 7 cases of stealing from the rooms.

Good

It's very clean and the staff are friendly. There is a swimming pool in the yard. The garden inside the hotel is very nice.

All the facilities are really really old! No staff speaks English. The price is not that good with regard to the facilities. The breakfast should pay extra beyond the price of room, which includes toast, jam, coffee without milk.

Untrustworthy and unhelpful. A shame as spoiled our stay in lovely town of Merida.

Location, swimming pool and parking

Money was stolen from a suitcase in a locked room. There was no manager to speak to. The local police came and confirmed this. Reception team very unhelpful. Still no reply after sending by email comments.Police said security cameras could be checked. Nothing was done by hotel to help or investigate. There is a security problem there. On looking further back on Trip Advisor pre pandemic there was money stolen from a room at this hotel.

Exceptional

It was 10 min walk from ADO station and walking distance to the historical center and many wonderful restaurants and coffee places. Merida was very safe, friendly staff who also arranged the taxi to the airport for us. The internet in the room was good. We have the view over the city. There was air-conditioning and hot water. Comfy beds.

A good hotel within a 10 minute walk to centro

not far from the bus station, nice rooms, fair shower. great view from the upper rooms.

Have about 15 spots around each leg because of all the mosquitos, itching was driving my nuts - no idea where they were coming from! lift was a little ropey. No plug by the bed.

Deceiving

Location - very closed to the center

Rude staff - person at front desk looked upset when I asked for an extra towel which I needed bc they didn’t have small sink towels . Also, when showering water leaked to the toilet section , it was so messy, and the floor was sooo sleepy and wet even worse, I almost felt a couple of times. Breakfast was not as good either . The pictures they have are deceiving.

Hotel is in a great location! Needs better beds and pillows !

property is in a great location! In the heart of town center. There is so much sight seeing nearby and many variety of restaurants around as well, all at walking distance from hotel.

Bed was stiff , and only had two tiny pillows . we asked for extra pillows but we never heard back from concierge. asked again the following day and nothing was done.

really old, need urgent refurbishment. for 50€/night in Merida we were waiting much more. no internet at all. breakfast room dated and not much option
