The Lanes Hotel is the best...!!!

Location on the seafront. 3x comfy double beds. Although our room was on the basement floor, being out of direct sunlight, it was always lovely and cool. The bathroom supplies were a brilliant and welcome touch, along with all the sweets at reception...!!!! Was able to park onsite, but parking permits were available at a reduced rate for on street parking too.

All great. Nothing to complain about.

Had a lovely weekend

Staff were lovely and very helpful even changed our room because the TV was not working. Side room but excellent sea view. Would definitely recommend, hotel is also just near bus stop if you want to hop on one.

The bathroom was quite small and got very hot also couldn’t find a drawer anywhere which I found rather odd, but minor issues.

Good value for money, great location and very helpful staff.

Location. Mike at reception was extremely helpful. Super breakfast. Clean and comfy room.

A bit tired in places. Some grout missing in places on bathroom floor tiles. Some of the brickwork on the outside was crumbling just by window in breakfast room. Could do with a freshen up outside. But these minor things didn’t affect our stay.

Pathetic experience

The location of the hotel is very good. Just opposite to the Brighton beach.

Room size is very small. It is too suffocating specially in summers. I asked the staff to provide a bedsheet, As comforter was too hot to be used. But the staff denied saying that they cannot provide extra bedsheet.

Very enjoyable stay here

A lovely room with very welcoming staff. My room was very clean and had some very thoughtful extras in the room - like sanitary products, flannels, sweets etc. They went above and beyond in terms of thoughtfulness.

The doors to the rooms weren’t very secure and the night that I stayed was very windy, so i was kept up most of the night because of the draft banging the doors.

A lovely, clean, well priced stay.

The property is very well located. Close the beach and town. We like to walk so 10-15 minutes to town was welcome. Less than 5 minutes and you’re in the water.

There was nothing we didn’t like. we had a sunset view of the pier.

Quaint guest house on sea front.

May I say that this hotel was chosen for me therefore I have no reason to criticise. It more than met my needs as a single traveller.

The inescapable heat with no fan to move air around. When I shut my curtains to minimise the heat through the windows, during the day the service attendant opened them!

Excellent centrally located hotel with clean, spacious rooms and super friendly staff.

The hotel was centrally located, restaurants and bars were within walking distance and Brighton Pier is only a short walk. Our room was spotlessly clean, we stayed in a sea view room and although the hotel is an older building, the room had been modernised. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing! All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back-Highly recommend 😊

We had an amazing time and would definitely come again.

Room was lovely with balcony and amazing views of the sea and pier, location and breakfast were great, the staff were so friendly and lovely at this family run hotel.

The Lanes lead to.a lovely place

Everything had a lovely room on the West Side of the building, which gave us a lovely view of the channel and the pier. Lovely four poster bed ,fantastic showers,and the hotel lays on razorblades,products for women such as make-up removers, and other women products. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Have to leave key when you go out. This is no issue as there is a 24-hour concierge. Lovely little bar in the hotel and the food they serve is very well priced and worth the money. All in all, it's a good place to go.

Great value stay in Brighton.

Great location, staff super friendly and welcoming. Great value for Brighton and in a location quiet enough to sleep well whilst being 10 mins tops away from restaurants and amenities. We will come back when we visit Brighton again in coming months.

Was just a little hard to keep the bathroom dry as the shower screen was a little too open.

Lovely, simplistic and oh so comfortable.

The room was lovely and they had thought of everything ☺️ cotton balls, ear buds, hair bands, sanitary products! The staff were really lovely too and welcoming, and the hotel is right near town, and right on the seafront. I’ll definitely be returning.
