Excellent location, very cosy and clean.
Couldn't connect to wi-fi, but not a big issue.

The property was really lovely, it is very well equipped. One of the big pluses is the log fire int the front room. The host was really nice and the cleaner very friendly.
Honestly, there wasn't a lot to dislike. It is a small property but that is exactly what we expected and paid for. We loved this place.

Ideal location. The cottage was unique and had lovely personal touches. The host had put up festive decorations as well as leaving a Welcome basket filled with essentials, not to mention a bottle of mulled wine. I had heard that parking was a problem, but I managed to. park outside of the property without an issue.
I did have some personal problems with my adult autistic son & the hosts could not have been more empathic & understanding .
Nothing ...The cottage was wonderful.

The cottage was very sweet, romantic, and well equipped. The morning sun in the garden was lovely. And the wood burning stove was a bonus.

everything was right on our doorstep within walking distance of all the shops and bars great bus and train links the wonderful harbour and beach and the many restaurant's and independent shops something for everyone all in one place
a lot of the independent shops close early around 4.30 so you need to make sure you do your shopping early the supermarkets and restaurant's stay open later but you get used to it suddenly every where is very quiet

3.5
Interesting location as hadn't visited this part of a town I know so well. There was a garden, of sorts, that I could sit out in. Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom situated next to the lounge on the ground floor. Shower was very unsafe as didn't have a non-slip floor.
The garden was overgrown and pathway was slippery.

Location is good. Cottage was clean.
Toilet is downstairs. Stairs are very steep so going to the toilet at night is not great if you have mobility issues. No light between gate and front door, which is dangerous in the dark. I fell as I did not see the raised bed in darkness on a curved path as I entered carrying shopping bags. Landed up in A&E with fractured and dislocated shoulder. Stayed at Marine hotel for the second night at extra cost as I felt unsafe at the cottage.

Great little hideaway for a couple of days
Shower cubicle is tiny and shower had no power to it and sofa is very small and uncomfortable
You can hear the pub at the back of the building
