Very good location in the centre of the town, a stone’s throw away from the beach. Quite quirky being on three floors but well equipped and great having own parking spot.
Being in property 1, it was adjacent to the road and found it a little noisy at times ( not used to rod traffic). The duvet was thick but just slept under the cover which was fine on two balmy nights.

Location, layout of facility

Excellent location and parking in the centre of Whitstable is priceless
It is important to note that there is NO living/communal space. It is essentially a parking space and two double hotel bedrooms. There is NO living space or kitchen. We booked two "cottages" as a family of 8 and packed the car for a self catering stay. Big mistake! I really think the description is deceptive. One of the pictures even shows a living space (which I now see is a bedroom with a sofa bed)

De locatie is geweldig ! Ons huisje had uitzicht op zee. De auto parkeer je onder het huisje. Top !
Het is er erg warm en de weg ernaast geeft erg veel lawaai. We wisten van de te voren dat geen zitje zou zijn maar dat mis je wel. Wij waren hier 1 nacht dan is geen probleem

Location was spot on and parking is such a bonus
Despite the name Warehouses Cottages, it was neither a house or a cottage, just two ensuite rooms with stairs between ( not even a door to the top bedroom). No living room or kitchen.

Location was excellent.
The rooms were a good size
Very mixed feelings about the property.
To say it has a sea view and provide photos of the beach and sea is nonsense. You can barely see the sea and I think this is false advertising.
The fridge stunk terribly
There’s nowhere really to sit as a group of 3 or 4 in the house except on the beds, yet ample room for a small sofa
The bathroom needs a small counter top area to put your toiletries - there’s ample room to put one in
The toilet is very small and low like a child’s toilet
The top bedroom has no door so there’s no privacy.

Proximity to sea
Biscuit crumbs left on side table on arrival. Thin walls and no living space.

These places are BEAUTIFUL- comfy beds, walk in shower bathrooms on both floors. stunning, skandi / designer leather chairs that are to die for, a “sea view window” on the first floor and balcony on top. fridges, glasses and tea & coffee stuff on both floors
we were in number one- so subjected to a lot of traffic noise with regular heavy goods vehicles passing night and day- a noise nuisance & sometimes felt like the apartment was shaking.
also- we came on foot- we didn’t get a heads up we had to walk i’d say a one km round trip to check in at the continental hotel- which wasn’t great as we had bags & im disabled. other than that- maybe a small table could be put in to have a gathering space but every thing else amazing. i’d go back tomorrow but not to apartment one.

Location, parking, view. Very clean and a nice service tray.
Too warm. No mirrors in top floor bathroom.
Noise insulation not brilliant.
No social space.

Sea view was amazing clean and tidy
Lack of information regarding heating as couldn’t control times and temperature it ran
TV highly frustrating as difficulty locating channels and also constantly losing signal and no information on how to use

Wonderful location, close to town and beach with a sea view.
Needed some maintenance in bathroom. Stairs a bit steep.
4.5 / 5.0
The location of the accommodation is great, literally on the seafront and 2 minutes walk from the town centre. It's off away from the road, so it is quiet and peaceful. There is parking underneath the apartment, which is comprised of 2 spacious double bedrooms (no kitchen area) each with its own bathroom with a shower. The sea view from the second floor balcony is lovely. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. Included is tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits with water and fruit juice in the fridges.
The bathrooms are quite small and the showers although modern need to have the heads replaced or cleaned better as the water doesn't come out of all the holes. The check in time is quite late at 3pm but the parking is available from 1pm which is handy so you can get the permit and access card from the hotel at the same time.

It was clean, cosy, comfortable, bright, cheerful, luxurious and convenient-also close to beach, and high st. It was quiet, car parking was a bonus.
It would have been good if there had been a small microwave in the tea making area
2.5 / 5.0
Convenient for the town
No facilities, just a bed for the night very steep stairs top floor bedroom is quite dangerous as there’s no gate on the stairwell

We love everything about the property, it’s clean, cozy, in a quiet and secluded environment, close to the sea, lots of fun things to do around the area. It’s a 10/10 for us

We had a fabulous time in Whitstable wiht lots to do and lovely restaurants / people - the warehouse was a great location very clean and comfortable - until about 9pm each night where 50 plus teenagers gathered in bus stop opposite the property until after 12pm at night where they were extremely loud and our small children struggled to get to sleep.
property was lovely

Good location-close to harbour, shingle beach, bars and restaurants. Short walk to high street with lots of independent shops and eateries.
Only one hanger provided in each bedroom. Shower room fittings need attention certainly in the double bedroom we occupied- wobbly toilet seat, only a small magnifying mirror on the wall which was loose so you had to hold it to use. Only one chair in each bedroom - not good as steep stairs between rooms.

Location was ideal and having the parking
I initially thought it may have a kitchenette

Nice, very clean, spacious bedrooms. Location couldn’t be more central, everything is in a stone throw.
1. It is sandwiched between a very very noisy main town road to the right of the picture and a promenade on the left. On the weekends in is insanely busy and traffic of cars goes nonstop. Would woke up early in the morning from the track truing to get through the lane. This should be mentioned in the property description as I wouldn’t have booked it knowing about the main road location. Cottages from 7 to 4 are fine as they are further from the road, cottage number 1 is hanging above the road.
2. Cottages from 1-4 are facing the wall, because what you cannot see on the advert is that this picture is facing another big beautifully rental, and to see the sea you will have to come out on the balcony (which is a very nice spacious balcony). Again I think this should be mentioned when booking as I wouldn’t have booked if I knew. (Live in a very quiet water facing apartment)
3. No kitchenette is a big minus when staying with family. Had this been just me and my husband it would’ve been fine as we never eat in when on holidays. We were with a 7 mo baby and that was felt. So for us it is a revelation.
4. No cutlery is an inconvenience as well if you are traveling with kids. That’s why I’m saying the property is not for everyone. It didn’t occur to me to bring all that with us.
5. First days there was a wifi problem as you would login and it wouldn’t work. We called the customer service but it wasn’t fixed until the following Monday. Showers are not as hot as I’d like it to be and itd ran out of hot water in 10 minutes at times. Not sure how that boiler is set up if the property is designed to accommodate 4 adults.
6. It is designed as a drum that’s why you will hear everything that is going on between the two floors.
But this property is really nice and fits the bill perfectly if this is just two of you or you and grown up kids. Ideal for trip with your parents as 4 adults or a bunch of students. In that case I’d highly recommend. Family with little kids- not so much.

Location was great, could see the sea from the balcony!
Only thing was the fridge that didn’t seem cold enough. We brought milk that went off after a few days.

STAIRS SO MANY STAIRS

The accommodation was modern and clean with lots of thoughtful touches like decent wine glasses and complementary bottles of water. They were comfortable and had a nice view of the sea. Excellent location. The beds were very comfortable
The rooms were too hot. Each room needs to have a fan provided and on a sunny summer day the curtains should be closed pending guests’ check in. We arrived around 5pm and it took a while to cool the rooms down.
