Location good: facilities dated but okay: but most of all clean:
Windows we’re drafty but we did have strong winds that week!

Location
Everything!
Hallway up to property smelled and looks like had damp issues. Apartment looked ok at first but was very tired and actually everything worn out when you take a closer look.
No plug near the mirror in bedroom. Second bedroom tiny not fit for two single beds, should be bunk bed so more room. Stall in double bedroom has stains on. Ironing board in bits all just chucked behind wardrobe. Sofa looks like about to collapse. Tv remote doesn’t work unless up close to tv. Sink in bathroom blocked. Flat smelled like sewer when you first go in. Company take damage deposit but flat is damaged so don’t know why it isn’t fixed when whoever damaged it!

Great location close to the sea, the harbour and the town centre.
Plenty of free parking available in near by streets, and public car park across the road for unloading on arrival and loading on departure is cheap. If you're lucky you might even get free street parking in front of the apartment
Communal corridor and stairs grubby, smell of drains in kitchen and bathroom, fridge a but cheesy. Generally not clean.
Requested an iron and ironing board before I arrived. The ironing board provided was a child sized table top model, with an insecure cover - I had to put a towel on it to use it. Also, the only table on which to put the ironing board was no where near the power socket, so I had to move the table (the one you see romantically laid in the window of the publicity photos) so the power cable for the iron would reach. I asked for a proper free standing ironing board, and was promised that somebody would look into it. Nothing happened.
Remote control for TV didn't work. I asked for replacement, but nothing happened

Location fabulous
Entrance hall to property filthy. Dust in bathroom and kitchen shelves. Ironing board was child size with shredded cover. Drawer in small room had someone's clothes in it. Wall hanger in small room broken. Would not recommend

the flat location is fantastic!
host has kindly left all necessary 'must-have' for the start of the holiday: coffee. tea, sugar, salt - very pleased.
Also most of cutleries are available. Tip: take the wine bottle opener :).
Though there is a lovely wine bar right in the basement of the building
We had to pay the deposit on the property 7 days in advance without even seeing the property.
Amount is quite significant.

Good location - near all local amenities! and within walking distance.
There were 2 key boxes on the door - perhaps specific instructions would be really helpful.
There was no corkscrew in the kitchen
Would be nice to supply toilet tissue - even one roll!
TV didnt work - had to unplug and plug - perhaps it would be a good idea to check that TV works before guests arrive?

The location was perfect, close to the beach town and a family member’s home. The beds were comfortable and the bedding/towels were spotless and smelled fresh. The rooms of the apartment were clean and it was easy to get in and out. The WiFi was good, heating was easy to control and shower was powerful and hot. It was well equipped.
A parking space would have been great but we managed to offload and load car using the car park opposite. The communal area had dirty carpet with a damaged bit and from the communal front door to the flat door was generally scruffy and dirty looking which was a shame because the apartment was lovely. There was also a strong smell of a dodgy substance at the bottom of the stairs. We think the trap under the bathroom sink needs clearing because the water took too long to drain away and when it did it smelled afterwards. There was a 2 seater sofa and an armchair and a table with 4 chairs to eat at but could have done with 2 x 2 seater sofas as one of us had to watch tv sitting on a kitchen style chair while the others were far more comfortable. These are just observations, we enjoyed our time and the flat was lovely.

I liked the apartment, its easy-to-use wifi and TV
There is a property across the road with the same number and a key box, with the road name on the fence nearby! Only a neighbour watering her garden alerted us that the place we wanted was on the other side of the road. This is worth a warning or clearer directions, maybe stating that the door is next to a shop (can't remember its name). This caused some temporary panic!

property was in great location

The location is very good - walking distance to everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay - we ate out or took picnics so just had breakfast in the flat. The flat had been cleaned to a mostly satisfactory standard. Parking was straightforward with free spaces in the adjacent road. Next time I'd probably get the train as the bus service to get to places is very good. We didn't stray far from Tankerton/Whitstable so didn't need the car.
The flat is a lot smaller than it appears in the photos. The twin bedroom is tiny and the beds are not standard single size but smaller. It was fine for me and my daughter. The shower needs a good scrub as there was mould growing on some of the tiles and we had to wash some glasses / crockery / pans before we used them as they had not been done properly. Some of the pots and pans are beyond use now and should be replaced.

my friends and I booked for my birthday weekend the location of the flat was perfect only a short walk to the beach front
as we had use of a beach hut it was perfect.
the flat was clean and tidy we didn't use many of the facilities as we were out most the weekend
the beds were fairly comfortable and the value was great
there wasn't much not to like everything was in the property that you could need

The location / price relationship was excellent. I was not expecting a luxury apartment.
The kitchenware was in a very bad state! Especially the saucepans / frying pans. They should be changed. The rest was fine. The sofa / armchair in the living room was old and needs replacing.
It would be a good idea to inform people that the stairs to the apartment are steep and with narrow treads. Also that there are interior steps down to the main bedroom. If someone has mobility problems, this is not the apartment for them.

The location was brilliant and exactly what we were looking for.
The flat could have been cleaner. There were some dust bunnies, and collections of hair on furniture.
The doors to the bedrooms also made horrendous squeaks when they opened, which was especially an issue going to the toilet in the middle of the night.

bright, fresh and clean and had great big windows to open in the living…
That the doors didn’t stay open, very annoying having swinging doors.
That there were moths in the property.

No parking next to flat

The location was great and parking in a local side road was free and easy
The decor was a little tired and the kitchen did not look like it had been fully cleaned

it is perfectly sized for a few days away. The decor is attractive and appealing. it is a well furnished and nicely finished flat. we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
for future guests - don’t be put off by the exterior. it doesn’t have pavement appeal, the shared entrance hall is a typically communal, slightly neglected area and the view out of the windows is not overly attractive but these are out of the owners control to a majority degree and doesn’t distract from a purposeful, comfortable, competitively-costed flat, once inside, that meets the needs of a few days break very nicely.

Mad woman downstairs kept shouting at us, with my baby.
Wasnt properly clean and the bathroom stank of sewage.

Well located near the sea, the harbour and the shops. Sea visible from the lounge and the kitchen. The bedrooms are at the rear and extremely quiet for a good night sleep. Comfortable beds.
A coffee plunger and a bottle opener would made our stay more pleasant.

Property itself was great, great location and easy access to all the amenities.
The running of the place is atrocious. The place was not yet cleaned , bedsheets not changed, no towels, bathroom not cleaned and kitchen bin was full from the previous guests.
When I finally made contact, only the bottom sheets were changed and still no towels, hence we could not shower for 3 days!

Missing a few items such as bin in bathroom.

location was good. Large TV was appreciated by children. Views of sea.
toilet seat loose. Strong smell from drains in bathroom. picture of lounge on line is misleading as it makes it look much bigger.

No toilet paper. Grubby cloths in kitchen. Second bedroom very small and would not suit two adults. Very difficult to reach blinds and open window but able to be done if you kneel stand on bed. Wi-fi appalling bad. Used all my monthly mobile data in three days.
8.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect. The beds were comfortable. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided.
The only downside was the shower. It was a bit smelly and took ages to drain. Also, we removed a mushroom which was growing in the grouting.
