Perfect accommodation for staying in Axminster

A comfortable relaxing stay, I would definitely return

The bed was super comfortable and the bedding very good quality - I had a fantastic nights sleep. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated and obviously being well maintained. Everywhere was very clean and very good water pressure meant a lovely shower.

The only slight niggles were that I didn't enjoy my croissants at breakfast and there didn't seem to be a vegetarian option for a cooked breakfast.

Overpriced B&B

- Girls working there were very nice.

- The reception is only open for 4 hours (4-8pm) unless you pay £40 to leave your bags. - Their "single bed" is a folded sofa bed, which was too old and not comfortable at all. - Their real bed is way too soft to the point it hurts your bag. - Water pressure is weak. - Breakfast had many options to choose but nothing tasted good.

Fabulous

What a gorgeous house! Conveniently located near town centre, Fiona was an excellent hostess giving us pointers as to where to eat etc. the guest house is beautifully maintained, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

Friendly, Comfortable

Host was really friendly. Room was very comfortable and stocked nicely with complimentary tea/coffee water etc. Breakfast was excellent too. If I am down in this area again, this will be my goto property.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Kerrigton House. The room was extremely spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We loved how well kept the house and the grounds were. Beautiful building, with plenty of period features.

An exceptional place to stay if you like country house style accommodation and great breakfasts.

From start to finish our stay at Kerrington House was exceptional. The room had a super four-poster bed, which was very comfortable, en suite facilities were very good and a great selection of teas, coffees and biscuits were provided. Breakfast was outstanding, once again lots of choices, well cooked and more than ample portions.

Very friendly staff, lovely building and grounds, needs a bit of modernisation inside.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. We felt the room could do with a bit of a refresh, it was looking dated.

Excellent small hotel

Room was beautiful. Robes, tea and coffee, water, biscuits, chocolates and toiletries provided. Also not only hair dryer but also straighteners and hot brush. Comfortable bed. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Will definitely use again if visiting Axminster.

Everything was exactly what we was expecting.

Very pleasant staff room was excellent and breakfast was very nice. And nothing too much bother for all staff. Car parked on site which is always a bonus. Very pleased.

Book here for a superb holiday

The size of the rooms and gardens are very impressive. It is an absolutely superb property,well maintained by Fiona and her staff. Could not fault the cleanliness or the food, if u were there any length of time u would turn Into a Mr/Mrs Billy bunter.. It is one exceptional place !!!.

a very pleasant stay overall.

beautiful property with lovely personal rooms. very good breakfast with excellent choice. lady who ran it was very friendly and helpful.

we didn’t like Axminster. as a town it was very run down. unable to contact anyone or access the car park when we arrived earlier than expected. very expensive for a B&b facilities.

I have been staying at Kerrington House for over 15 years now, whenever I have visited the area. During that time, Fiona's commitment to providing the best possible customer experience has been consistent. Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished rooms and a magnificent breakfast combine to make staying here a pleasure. The AA's 5-star rating is well deserved!

rooms were a good size and bed very comfortable

wasn’t keen on the over bath shower as no option to have bath and I personally don’t like shower curtain touching me
